What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Kandji is its seamless automation and zero-touch deployment for Apple devices. The interface is intuitive, Auto-Apps simplify app updates, and security features are robust. Plus, their customer support is top-notch—quick, helpful, and knowledgeable. It’s a powerful all-in-one solution for Mac fleet management.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Kandji is a strong Apple MDM solution, a few things could be improved. The pricing is also on the higher side for smaller teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji is solving the challenge of managing and securing a growing fleet of Apple devices across our organization. It simplifies onboarding with zero-touch deployment, ensures compliance with automated updates and security controls, and centralizes app management. This saves us hours of manual work, reduces risks, and improves employee productivity.

Essential MDM Platform – Innovative & Powerful Features

What do you like best about the product?
Kandji MDM has been absolutely essential for managing our fleet of macOS devices. From a Mac Admin perspective, the pre-configured library items for device policies and the off-the-shelf Auto Apps are standout features — allowing us to install and update applications at scale effortlessly across the organisation.

Compared to other MDM tools, Kandji truly differentiates itself through continuous improvements, fast feature releases, and industry-leading innovation. Integrations like Single Sign-On with Okta, Automated Device Enrollment (ADE), and their new Threat Protection module have transformed how we manage security across our devices.

Their support team is excellent — quick to respond with deep technical knowledge — although, in most cases, their intuitive, user-friendly UI means support is rarely needed. The documentation and articles are consistently updated and reliable, making adoption and ongoing management incredibly smooth.

During the enrolment phrase, we migrated within a few days and could easily onboard devices through a URL making it very easy for non technical users to enrol.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, nothing. We moved away from a competitor to Kandji and have not looked back. It’s a product that’s genuinely hard to fault, and I’ve seen even the most seasoned IT and Security professionals impressed by how easy and powerful it is to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed Kandji to ensure full compliance with our security policies across the organisation, particularly to achieve certifications like Cyber Essentials Plus. Kandji automates the deployment and updating of critical tooling without manual input, and enforces a wide range of technical controls — including local macOS settings, device restrictions, and seamless integration with our Identity Provider (IDP) for Single Sign-On.

I also really appreciate Kandji’s built-in alerting and monitoring of policies, which dramatically reduces the time needed to maintain and manage our devices. Ultimately, it enables users to work with a frictionless experience while keeping our systems and data protected at the same time.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a centralised solution to deploy and manage iPads across multiple hotel locations throughout the country. Managing devices manually or through fragmented tools wasn’t scalable or secure. Kandji has solved that problem brilliantly by giving us one unified platform to handle everything—from enrolment and configuration to compliance and monitoring.

With Kandji, we can now remotely manage, secure, and update all our iPads from a single dashboard, saving significant time and ensuring consistency across every site. This not only reduces the burden on our internal IT resources but also gives us peace of mind knowing each device is compliant and operating as intended.

The ability to streamline our device management into one platform has been a huge operational benefit, especially for a business like ours with multiple physical locations.

Great way to eliminate the need for most IT

What do you like best about the product?
Mac-specific and simple to use - an essential part of our security platform. Support is amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some more IT tools such as asset management (beyond devices), ticketing, and, particularly for us. RADIUS/RADSEC tools for seamless/cloud WPA 3 Enterprise would be super handy - but am sure they will get to this.

What do you like best about the product?
The Kanji interface and support team are extremely user-friendly and knowledgeable. In demo'ing other MDM and EDR offerings the best bang for the buck has been with streamlining our solution with Kandji.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more dynamic pricing structure. being able to better taylor our subscription to the number of devices we have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It simplified our administration of our devices and gave us amazing visibility into how our users are using their computers, allowing us to audit and control the software installed and now with the addition of the EDR and vulnerability solution, great insight into how to refine our library items to ensure our users OS and applications stay up to date.

Stellar MDM platform for Apple Products.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Kandji is their ease of use and vast support system. I have used almost every major MDM under the sun and they pale in comparison to Kandji. Being easy to use is one thing, but having 24/5 support for enterprise needs is totally insane. Need direction? A script? To talk to a REAL person? Yeah- Kandji has that, and not just to meet a minimum requirement, they go above and beyond to ensure that your use case needs get addressed. The fact that they help you easily implement from scratch or migrate your fleet from an existing MDM-- is just absolutely unheard of. So huge shoutout to Kandji and the amazing feature set and staff!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't like about Kandji is that it can't do Windows or Linux devices hahahahahahaha! I wish that Windows and Linux had an MDM platform as inclusive, vast in feature set and as easy to use and implement as Kandji is for Macs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed an MDM to manage out fleet that would allow our admins time BACK. It is not feasible to have several dedicated technicians to just MDM support for managing a large fleet of devices. Kandji allows us to customize our deployment, set it and then forget it. It's absolutely hands down the best MDM for Macs that is available in the market.

What do you like best about the product?
Automation capabilities have significantly improved workflows. The Blueprint System is effective for configuration management. Integration with Apple Ecosystem. The Customer Support team is super responsive and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting capabilities are not as detailed or flexible as I would like, but this is a minor issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As someone who oversees both HR and It, Kandji has solved the problem of a complex and time-consuming device management process, freeing me up for other tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
It’s really easy to use, even if you're not super technical. Setting up and managing devices is quick and pretty much hassle-free. What stands out most is the support—they respond fast and actually help solve problems, which isn’t always the case with other platforms. It saves us a ton of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to complain about, honestly. Some of the more advanced features take a bit of figuring out at first, and the docs could be a bit more detailed. But once you get the hang of it (or just ask support), it’s smooth sailing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Kandji, managing our Apple devices felt like a juggling act—lots of manual setup, chasing down updates, and making sure everything was secure. Now, it’s pretty much all automated. Devices are set up the way we want right out of the box, updates and policies get pushed without any drama, and we don’t have to worry about things slipping through the cracks. It saves us a bunch of time and makes life way easier for our IT team.

What do you like best about the product?
Zero‑touch setup really works: new Macs power on, get the right profiles and apps, and we’re done.

Ongoing compliance checks keep devices in line and flag issues before users notice.

What do you dislike about the product?
Kandji is an excellent tool we’re happy to recommend, but it would be even better with broader integrations - ideally a generic webhook for event‑based automation, and an option to schedule data exports

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use: 9/10 - Features are easy to navigate into with no-frills user interface.
Customer support: 10/10 - Kandji support is very accessible to talk to: on chat, email, on the phone and even on Slack. Resolutions are always on point.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would've been better if Kandji can manage Windows devices too, so we'll have just one MDM solution in place.
