If you live in the Apple ecosystem, there really isn't a comparable product to Kandji!

What do you like best about the product?
Kandji has been amazing to work with. There UI is clean and modern and relatively straight-forward. Any time we've encountered a unique scenario that wasn't straight forward, it was easy to connect to their support team and they were always quick to help and were extremely positive in their demeanor.
What do you dislike about the product?
The online reporting is still in its infancy so it's not great. Sometimes trying to put together information and have a great understanding of our ecosystem on the whole in terms of devices that are aging out or software usage isn't as accessible as I'd like. Also, they're pricing is a premium/luxury pricing. It's worth it but it's something to consider depending on where your business is. Other products are quite a bit cheaper but you do need to weigh what your time is worth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our big challenge was managing devices on turnover and upgrades. We really needed a platform that would allow us to easily manage access to devices even if employees were no longer accessible.

What do you like best about the product?
Kandji's intuitive design makes managing Apple devices a breeze, even for those without a tech background.
Their comprehensive features cover everything we need, and we love seeing new updates and enhancements every month.
And if we ever have a question, their support team is top-notch!
What do you dislike about the product?
They're aware of any limitations and are actively working to overcome them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji simplifies the process of deploying OS and app updates, ensuring devices are always up-to-date and secure. This saves significant time and effort, while also minimizing disruptions for end-users.
Makes it easy to create and enforce security policies across your entire fleet of Apple devices, protecting sensitive data and ensuring compliance.
Zero-touch deployment and Self Service features streamline the onboarding process, making it quick and easy for new employees to get up and running. This improves the overall user experience and reduces the burden on ITOperations.

What do you like best about the product?
Kandji is simply excellent. From implementation and integration to daily use, it is very simple to use. It takes your traditional MDM and makes it more powerful and then simplifies it. The automation built directly into the solution, along with the built-in compliance tools, is a game changer for system administration. Many of the major applications in use today are automated, and they make reporting a breeze!
Additionally, the support is spectacular!
What do you dislike about the product?
In our case, the only thing that could be better is the ability to use Kandji to manage Windows devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing the effort in managing the daily routine in basically everything (policy, application updates, reporting, etc)

What do you like best about the product?
Our organization is in love with the Passport for signing in using our Entra IDs, as well as the Kandji Self Help Portal.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing model's smallest option is 50 devices, while we only have ~25.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji is allowing our users to securely sign into their devices.

Lower cost MDM for SMBs

What do you like best about the product?
For smaller teams, its very easy to use and maintain. Also has many built in settings for pre-set defaults that can ensure a good level of security, compliance, and efficiency. Having Pre-set Apps for updates, installs and downloads is a great feature.Cost is a bit better, comapred to other larger MDM solutions. Works great with Apple Device Enrollment and Apple Business Manager.
What do you dislike about the product?
Comared to more robust systems, like JAMF, can be a bigger learning curve on how to set up more grainular permissions or policies. We are not able to just push 1 peice of software to 1 user, as it requires a whole new Blueprint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have aout 60 Users with company purchased machines. Kandji helps us manage inventory, manage security, set policies, push updates and patches, allow employees to install approved softeware via self service or push, if we do not want, or cannot make them admins, presets the Wifi network without having to give user wifi password.

What do you like best about the product?
Their Customer Support team have been fantastic. They've been super helpful whenever I've had an issue. They even followed up on a ticket I created, informing me that the issue had (finally) been resolved after 18 months.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would prefer that new features are added to the base subscription and not paywalled.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fleet compliance. Prior to Kandji, we would provision MacBooks for users, but after the onboarding we had no way to continue to enfore our policies. Since rolling out Kandji to our fleet, we have been able to ensure our users are keeping their devices up to date and in policy.

A perfect MDM solution for our entire business ensuring end-to-end control

What do you like best about the product?
Kandji is user friendly for both administrators, end users and the entire team. By using Kandji we've taken control of our Apple devices (100% of the teams devices).
What do you dislike about the product?
There is little to dislike about Kandji. We've tested every major Apple MDM in the market and Kandji was above and beyond the best fit for our needs and by far the most versatile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team is distributed accross the UK, Europe & further afield. Using Kandji, we've taken control of our Apple estate, the primary device every team member uses to do their work. Using Kandji, we enforce software updates, restrictions on guest accounts, the rollout of applications and most importantly, single sign-on using our Google Workspace Directory as the authentication method.

What do you like best about the product?
User-friendly - Kandji is easy to use and has a smart user interface
Support - Kandji's support team is knowledgeable, effective, and always ready to help
Blueprints - using blueprints to group devices and deploy apps and settings is straightforward
Auto-app library - the auto-app library makes app installation very simple
Implementation was very easy for our team despite headaches with our previous MDM (Meraki)
Integrations with Google Suite were fairly effortless
Great for teams who rely heavily on a smart MDM that doesn't need a dedicated team to upkeep
What do you dislike about the product?
One-off commands - blueprints can help organize systems but can be frustrating when trying to make one-off commands
Comparable pricing to other major competitors with better-individualized support, but still growing in features.
No remote access or ability to find missing devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji is solving our mobile device management needs with a team dedicated to supporting our small IT team (2 tech members), and it is making our deployment of tools and securing our work environment significantly better than our previous tool. It does not need any daily maintenance and can easily be run by our small team, with support being available from Kandji whenever needed from an Apple pro.

Easy Apple Device Management

What do you like best about the product?
Our Kandji rep and tech support was excellent. Onboarding was a breeze, the GUI is very intuitive, the app-store and application deployment was full-featured vs competitors.
We're glad we chose Kandji for our corporate device management.
What do you dislike about the product?
A minor point, and one consistent across vendors and products; the SSO integration for local sign in with an IDP is a tricky process, but Kandji support got us through it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized Mac device management, including policies and software deployment.

Powerful yet easy to use device management for Apple devices

What do you like best about the product?
Kandji was fairly easy to set up and has been an invaluable tool for us to manage our devices across a remote team. I particularly like the abillity to distribute custom software via the SelfService application which makes deploying internal tools very easy.

Their customer support has been very responsive & helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting everything set up with Apple Business Manager was a bit of a struggle, however, this is really an Apple issue not Kandji. Specifically, getting auto-device enrollment took several new device orders before things were finally connected properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enforcing system settings and ensuring our devices are up-to-date. I can also remotely disable/reset/administer devices, which is very powerful for our small remote team.
