Apple MDM that provides an Apple-like experience
What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to migrate from previous MDM, support is excellent, users have complimented the UI/enrollment process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some inconsistencies with wiping our older devices, and can sometimes be difficult to find exact settings inside of library items like Restrictions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enrolling devices into ABM, installing apps, applying policies, etc., to better our onboarding/offboarding processes, improve security, properly manage company assets, and assist us in providing a remote-friendly working environment

A powerful, user-friendly tool for automating Apple device management and ensuring compliance in the company.Its user-friendly interface and pre-built templates make device deployment and policy management easy for IT .
What do you dislike about the product?
May come with a learning curve for new users due to its extensive features. Customization options can be limited when dealing with complex, specific needs, and the pricing may be steep for smaller organizations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji simplifies Apple device management by automating deployment, ensuring compliance, and enforcing security. It solves manual setup challenges, boosts productivity, and maintains regulatory standards. This benefits users by saving time, reducing IT workload, and improving overall security and efficiency.
Overall Kandji provides a great MDM solution
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji is easy to use and setup, you don't have to be an expert in all things administration to use it. I can fairly easy figure out how to do something without having to write a script or call support. Kandji is also re-investing into the product and providing useful updates on a regular basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
When it comes to advanced tasks, sometimes Kandji cannot be used. Additionally the filtering options for device listings are a pain, it can be difficult to filter out different types of devices. Finally the view for the new assignment maps is really rough when there's a lot of conditions.
I would love to see PC management in Kandji, but I realize this is highly unlikely :)

Kandji allows us to manage our Macs and iPhones in an easy to use package!
Standout MDM solution for Apple devices, with a few flaws
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji is a standout MDM solution for Apple devices, with an intuitive interface and a setup process that had us operational within hours rather than weeks. The built-in blueprints for CIS Benchmarks are a huge advantage for compliance, and their live chat support is responsive and efficient, providing real-time assistance when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Kandji’s ease of use is often a benefit, it sometimes stems from design or feature limitations that require workarounds. Additionally, the lack of Slack integration for device alerts and a mobile-friendly interface can be challenging in urgent situations. More transparency around feature requests would also be appreciated. Despite these minor flaws, Kandji is one of the top MDM choices available.

Solve compliance, security and remote management issues.
Great MDM for 10-200 devices!
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and integration with ABM is a huge plus for working with Kandji, we've been using them for 3+ years now and have been very satisified with their features. Kandji enables our lean IT team to manage our entire fleet without a huge and costly time investment.
What do you dislike about the product?
In exchange for it generally being easy to use and quick to setup, you lose a bit of flexibility when you're trying to manage 1 device at a time, leading to some clutter in processes if you need to grant exceptions or particular apps to particular computers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji solves our need to make sure our fleet is updated and kept compliant with several security and compliance frameworks, as well as letting us handle most aspects of device lifecycle management from within as well.
An fantastic MDM for SMBs
What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Kandji for a few years and we are so far very happy with it.
It works reliably on all of our endpoints and on the rare ocasions there have been issues, a reboot always fixed the problem.
What we like the most is how Kandji is easy to setup and maintain. Compared to other MDM solutions, it is quite simple to create a "blueprint" and add libraries to it. I remember setting up back in the day everything (ADE steps, libraries, basic software, update settings, etc) on just one or two days.
This saved us a lot of very much needed time and effort that we could spend on other things.
Customer support has also been great, with dedicated people who gave us solutions going above and beyond (even to the point of creating a custom script for us!), not some outsourced or automated support.
As perks, the API is great and allowed us to connect to our security platform.

Do not expect management and logging tools, like screen sharing or terminal, as you would from an RMM or other MDM solutions than promote those.
Blueprints make things super easy but also kinda annoying to push 1 app or config to a single computer.

Have MDM solution on a smb with ease. It is our perfect tool because of how little it takes to setup and maintain.
Best Mac MDM in the business, have used it at every role I've been in.

-Maybe that it can't manage Linux or Windows? Other than that, not much.

We are a fully remote workforce based around the Globe, Kandji makes it easy to manage our entire fleet of Macs remotely and asynchronously.

Like most MDM's, Kandji helps us save a lot of setup time and monitoring of our systems. Even as a medium sized business.
Where Kandji excels is its ease of setup and implementation of software, custom or off the shelf, onto our systems.

What do you dislike about the product?
We don't have any downsides, whilst we've had very few issues with it, when these have occured the customer support has been very quick to answer these questions and resolve the issues at hand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a software as a service company that handles lots of data, we have a strict requirement for security within our services.

Great product. Fantastic Customer Support
What do you like best about the product?
They have an amazing product but their customer support is the real selling point for me. I can get an engineer via chat within a couple minutes and they're extremely knowledgable. Without fail they help me get my problem resolved and there's never been one escalation. All companies should model their tech support on Kandji's.
What do you dislike about the product?
None that I can think of. Kandji has a great product ans even better support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a team of one, it allows me to manage and secure my fleet of devices very efficiently. The console. is easy to use, and the built in CIS benchmarks save me a lot of time. They have a really nice API which I leverage for custom alerting and reports. It's a well designed product.
Perfect Solution for Managing MacBooks in Education
What do you like best about the product?
After trying multiple solutions, I finally found a software that makes managing MacBooks in our district both efficient and user-friendly: Kandji. As a tech administrator, ease of use and reliability are paramount, and Kandji delivers on both fronts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it were easier to locate the settings that need adjustment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One standout feature is its automation capabilities. Kandji can handle regular maintenance tasks automatically, from software updates to enforcing security policies, which is incredibly valuable in an educational setting with multiple devices and users. The centralized dashboard provides a clear overview of all devices, and the real-time reporting tools make tracking the status of each MacBook simple and effective.
