Consistent Improvements and Updates Keep Kandji Evolving
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Kandji because they consistently introduce new improvements and updates, which keeps the platform evolving. Their support and accounts teams are great, and I really like their program design. It's very user-friendly, with an intuitive homepage and platform that makes it easy for users.

The pricing can be a bit high, especially for small companies, but Kandji has always been willing to offer discounts for us, which helps

Kandji helps us by automating updates and providing computer recovery keys, which is essential since our employees often forget their passwords. Additionally, the platform's security configurations ensure our devices remain secure and compliant.

Kandji has been a game-changer for our device management. The platform is incredibly intuitive, making it easy to automate workflows and manage Apple devices at scale. The customer support is responsive and knowledgeable, helping us solve issues quickly. The overall security and compliance features give us peace of mind, knowing our fleet is always up-to-date and secure. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji simplifies device management by automating deployment, updates, and compliance for Apple devices. It enhances security by enforcing policies and addressing vulnerabilities automatically. This saves us time, ensures compliance, and keeps our devices secure and up-to-date effortlessly.
Easy, Powerful, Supported
What do you like best about the product?
Configuring Kandji was so easy that I had my deployment 80-90% built before we ever even had our onboarding meeting. I just sat down and did it, the workflow is extremely self-explanatory and the wikis and forums break it down into the easiest possible steps. For anything else, Kandji support has been absolutely phenomenal, A+, available 24/5 with response times on the order of seconds. They've clearly come across just about every challenge you could encounter and have a script or workaround or instruction for any given problem. Beyond this, Kandji is a very powerful tool, specifically the custom scripts and apps deployment. Basically any task or automation that one could hope to achieve on Mac can be done, so anything that doesn't exist out-of-the-box can be very easily whipped up custom.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not many complaints so I'll nitpick. If you add apps/books to Apple Business Manager then push them to Kandji, you can easy assign/remove licenses as you wish. But if you're no longer using an app altogether and want it removed from your library, they have a somewhat janky workaround to do this, rather than just being able to hit Delete like with any other library item. I also wish it was a little easier to visualize the difference between two Blueprints, ie, PRD and non-PRD, but modifying/switching between them is quite straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji took all the guess work out of managing our fleet of devices. Any and every possible software, service, or feature we care to deploy, we can count on Kandji to roll it out pain free.

Kandji has made managing all our workstations much much easier and adds a much needed level of security.

There have been no downsides that I've come across!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji has made updating all workstations and adding needs systems incredibly easy. We also wanted to ensure all our team members have individual access to each workstation and the connection with our Google accounts met that level of security while simplifying the process when we onboard new employees.
We have quickly adopted Kandji and we rely on them for our device management!

Omce installed and running, it requires almost no maintenance.

At first the device setup can definitely seem overwhelming and difficult, and requires extra time. In the beginning it was alo somewhat fruystrating to encounter new kinks with various software that couldn't properly function after Kandji was installed. Once we have worked it all out however, it seems like smooth sailimng (fingers crossed!)

Centrailzed software and OS updates, and having contriol that doesn't allow end users to make modifications tio their workstations.
Excellent MDM for Apple Devices - Efficient, Secure, and Easy to Use

We've been using Kandji as our MDM solution for all our Apple devices, and it's been a fantastic experience. Managing security and application deployment across all our MacBooks has become streamlined and efficient. Kandji has made life easier for both end-users and our central management team, particularly in maintaining compliance.
The 'blueprints' feature allowed us to group and configure our devices in a single day, and we had everything fully set up within a week. The integration with our compliance platform, Vanta, has been especially valuable, saving us a lot of time and effort in meeting security and compliance requirements.
On top of that, Kandji offers great tutorials that made the setup process straightforward, and their customer support has been excellent whenever we've needed assistance.
Overall, Kandji is an outstanding tool for Apple device management, and I highly recommend it!

If there is even one non-Apple device in your organisationthen you need to use another MDM and that can make things more complicated.

Brilliant product vs market, very easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
We first used another product in the space which was far more involved. Kandji has a much slicker UX, everything just feels more wired together and with Self Service and the related functionality its easy to give end users a way to self serve and take the load of of tech.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. We wanted to use their malware protection but it was a bit too pricey for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to keep our fleet of devices inline with our baseline security requirements.

the problem of managing and securing multiple Apple devices
Kandji is by far the most user friendly, feature rich, and price conscious Apple MDM on the market
What do you like best about the product?
There are so many things I love about Kandji but if I had to choose, Kandji's user friendly feature set would top the list. From the different options to manage a BYOD to fully managed device, the flexibility is so great and even a non-technical person can implement. A very close second is the people behind the product. My Customer Success Manager is the best and the support has been phenominal.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is I wished Kandji created a product to manage Windows & Android devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
(1) Securing our company data and (2) Managing a growing company that didn't have any policies in place. Kandji solved both problems with preset policies that we actually used to write our own internal mobile policies.
