Alteryx is a jack of all trades when it comes to streamlining processes
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use with tools, compatibility with databases, HTML, and flat files. Highly translatable to other languages, intuative usage is a catalyst to learning more complex capabilities. Reduces all of my processes time since tools are sometimes easier to configure than an extensive, complex, long excel formula. Reduces scope of tools used to streamline a process, having everything done start to finish in Alteryx rather than having to do data manipulation in excel, power query, and more excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was quicker to set up input tools, like if I need to connect to a flat file or database. The text input tool is not as easy to edit or set-up like the ease of creating a table in excel. The learning curve can become wider when trying to learn advanced capabilities in the developer tab, and there doesn't seem to be as much content for these tool like the copious amount of resources for core designing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am developing a forecasting calculation and process for a manager in my organization, and Alteryx is doing major heavy-lifting for me when it comes to data manipulation and adding ad-hoc analysis we may not have realized before. Replicating this process outside of Alteryx would be strenuous with creating tedious excel formulas, unnecessary files and tabs, and could also cause data concerns if a cell is disrupted. With Alteryx, there's no need to worry about cell disruption when reviewing a million-row data set. Long excel formulas are another point-of-concern that is eliminated with Alteryx. With legacy processes, new analysts can more easily apprehend what a workflow tool is achieving, rather than spending time trying to dissect a long formula with multiple functions embedded in it.

What do you like best about the product?
It's visual, simple and easy to build and understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
The previous version slows down with large datasets of over 10 million rows, am still testing the AMP version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alteryx is helping in reducing the complexity by helping us eliminate SQL queries and saving time as we donot need to write, maintain and run multiple SQ queries.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to create quick and easy automations for certain work that usually take hours. Alteryx also helps you think of things from another perspective and creates ideas that you wouldn't think would be possible without it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there is a learning curve but being able to take the core certification will help someone understand alteryx a lot more than the average person. This would probably be the only issue, is the learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alteryx is helping solve problems in an efficient manner, because of the tools available. Such as grabbing the top 10% of a data and figuring out which customers are spending the most or how to save more.

At my job, I have leveraged alteryx to automate monthly routine processes that were super manual and inaccurate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love some more hands on help for overcoming corporate bottlenecks to compliance issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Every week I have a report that took an hour to clean, manipulate and model. Alteryx has minimized this to only a couple minutes. Its a huge timesave and allows for my business partners to recieve data quicker and more accurately.

Its user-friendly interface, advanced analytics capabilities, and extensive library of tools and connectors make it an excellent choice for businesses of all sizes and industries.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is primarily designed for structured data analytics, as per my my knowledge, which may not be as effective for unstructured data.

Had used alteryx for an project and found it really cool beacuse of the functionalities it provides and also the data analysis become very easy using alteryx

They should focus more in machine learning part as for my thoughts the machine learning functions are very limited and to basic level

As a analyst we use alteryx for data preparation which is quite helpful. Tired buidling models on the tool but didn't achieved the desired accuracy we need for the model

Sometimes if the workflow is too complicated, the design space does look clumsy, but that's the way it is.

Best tool for data preparation. After that, we can run a machine-learning model efficiently. Since it is fast and gives accurate results, so we offer more time in results and finding insights.
Amazing ETL tool
What do you like best about the product?
Good and easy interface. Absolutely helpful to create lowcode analytical tool to develop data cleaning and processing pipelines. Has helped numerous assignment on data processing.

Despite the amazing features that it holds and intuitive solutions that it enables, it can include an intuitive augmented analytics section which can allow and provide feedback to customise and optimize some existing solutions.
