The Gui, the no code approach allowing anyone to jump into creating insightful analytics, the community that is great for both learning but also collaborating with people, offering learning and teaching while providing a gamified layout
What do you dislike about the product?
Alteryx has a very high skill ceiling for everyday analytics tools like Designer are perfect, but the huge amount of information available from the get-go can be daunting for some
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The company I am with has a lot of legacy systems, alteryx allows me to corraborate these various sources into a central truth, and helps us replace outdated systems that are not supported anymorew

Ease of use and clarity of logic, great tools

The amp engine is unpredictable resulting in different results when using it ot not using it for the same workflow

Automating manual data preparation porcesses.
Amazing (but expensive) product
What do you like best about the product?
very powerful and scalable software. Can handle basically any data related task.
What do you dislike about the product?
licenses are very expensive and separated for different products.

Alteryx is super good at pulling data from multiple sources and doing any sort of preparation or cleansing needed before pushing it out to a data warehouse or reporting on it.
Alteryx Designer for self-service
What do you like best about the product?
Alteryx is a great tool for self-service. Our team members have really benefitted from being able to use the tool

Some pof the pricing has been a bit high.

Primarily data cleansing and processing.

I like how easy it is to link up external systems to alteryx and create workflows that are able to perform a variety of data manipulation steps .

I think that the visualization components could be enhanced in alteryx

This product is User friendly and easy to learn for non tech users

Hardcore sql users might find it to be more time consuming

Alteryx solves the ETL problem and is easier to learn than traditional tools like Informatica.

Alteryx is easy to learn and requires little to no coding experience. It allows the general user to be able to understand the software with no technical expertise.
What do you dislike about the product?
The error messages provided with the formula tools are not always the most helpful in understanding what needs to be corrected to ensure the formula works. This causes the workflow to fail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alteryx solves the issues of having to download data from ERPs and other systems by partnering with the industry leaders and creating connectors to connect to the ERP software applications.
