Amazing for non-Apple users

What do you dislike about the product?
needs more integrations with other software platforms
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Uniformality and security between all of our company owned devices
Sr Manager of Implementation Program
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use. When I first started using it, I had no training on it and was able to figure it out with little to no training.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont really have any. It seems to work very quick.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are helping us maintain our Mac's secured and easy to push apps and other scripts as needed.
Easy to Deploy Devices
What do you like best about the product?
Deploying devices is a breeze and if you have any issues a live agent is available within a couple of mins,
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see some kind of report or notification when devices go offline to remediate issue right away.

To deploy devices that are ready for our employees and manage remotely if any issues arise.
Kandji - simple, straightforward yet adaptable.
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji has been very easy to adapt and configure to meet our institutional needs. We went from a zero MDM enviornment to this with very useful implementation meetings from the Kandji team. We have been set for 2+ years now, and it has proven to be a low touch product in that we almost set it and forget it for periods of time. Customer support via chat has been wonderful as well. Most every question or issue we have had was able to be resolved within minutes as opposted to having to go down the ticketing path.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not found a great configuration setup as of now to manage our Mac computer labs with multi user devices. Kandji does not have anything right out of the box to help us configure that. Still a work in progress on our end, and not sure if any competators offer this or not to be honest. I am also not looking forward to moving all of my traditional "blueprints" to the new model they have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have lowered end users tickets and overall support time for our mac fleet by being able to keep everyone in a tighter window with regard to updates and patches. Overall security of our fleet has been enhanced and we have cut down on time to provision devices.

Apple device management that is easy to use with friendly UI and great support.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't support Microsoft Windows OS yet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apple device management and control
Out of the box MDM
What do you like best about the product?
Compared to other Mac MDMs (Jam*, I am talking about you), there's a lot more builtin functionality that doesn't require Third party tools:
For example:
- Enforce OS and app updates
- Installation wizard for initial setup

What do you dislike about the product?
Some options are not as granular, for example OS patch levels are tied to the Library item which is shared amonst the blueprints.
The new assignment map feature is confusing.
The new assignment map feature is confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Install corporate software automatically and enforce controls.
Kandji Is Easy To Use For Admins
What do you like best about the product?
I've really enjoyed using Kandji for MDM. It is much simpler than other MDM services and more admin friendly. The app library is pretty extensive and great. One of the best things about Kandji is the support! Support is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They are one of the biggest selling points of Kandji, please do not outsource them. Kandji support also writes great kb pages which are often more helpful than any third parties.
What do you dislike about the product?
Kandji could use a couple of beefed up intergrations. The identity is pretty good, but I'd love for an asset tracking integration, or a remote desktop tool/add-on.
The biggest thing I'd like is for Prism to gain some love with reports or device details. Currently you have to use an API for certain exports which I do not have time to dive into.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji effectively secures and manages our fleet of Apple devices! I prefer Kandji over other MDM products since it seems to be a balance of ease of use and security.
Easy to manage Mac MDM solution
What do you like best about the product?
Simple to manage with smaller IT team. Other MDM services required vast learning and dedicated staff to manage service.
What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn't offer service for Windows devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing Mac devices without dedicated in-house product expert
2 Years Strong
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. The platform is fairly intuitive as well as it has a simplified UI which makes navigating the plaform very enjoyable. Sending updates with new apps or configs is also a very streamlined and easy process to go through once you have learned the terms Kandji uses for any of its systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Any update you push to Ipads can be delayed if the OS is not the latest version. You are also unable to force push apps without that OS update. Kandji has settings around "miminum OS version" but even with these set I find it still needs a local push for things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unified app configuration across all sites.
Good Experience Overall
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji provides a seamless and intuitive platform for managing our fleet of Macs. We appreciate the zero-touch deployment, automated compliance monitoring, and powerful Blueprints feature, which makes device management incredibly efficient. The integration of security and compliance tools in one platform has streamlined our processes, and the responsive customer support adds significant value. Overall, Kandji has been a reliable solution for our macOS device management needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost is always a challange for smaller buisness use cases such as ours. Also we have both Apple and Microsoft devices and would be nice to have one mangement tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simplified Apple Device Management and Inventory Management for Onboarding and Offboarding, Device Monitoring, Application Deployment, Meeting Security Compliance and Best Practice.
