Good platform for analytical minds who don't know coding languages

What do you like best about the product?
Quickbase is useful for meeting a variety of business data & technology needs, even if you don't know any particular coding language. The ability to create apps that centralize, standardize and connect data while having simple user interfaces has allowed our business to meet our growing demand.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because of the low/no code setup, there are many functions that seem like they should be simple, but require creative workarounds to accomplish.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The major problem Quickbase is solving for my company is ease-of-access to important data. We previously had information stored in far too many disparate locations, including various apps and Excel files. Because of this, many people did not: 1) have access to data relevant to their job, 2) know where data was stored, or 3) know if the data they were using was accurate and up-to-date. Quickbase has allowed us to consolidate this information and connect it in a way that makes it accessible and accurate for all.

What do you like best about the product?
Quickbase allows us to confidently put powerful tools in the hands of our operational owners. We have seen it transform how our teams work - from project management to comprehensive clinical data tracking and beyond.
What do you dislike about the product?
Still need better realm-wide visibility into integrations. Until we have it, we can't fully utilize Pipelines in the way it is intended. We're itching to put Pipelines into the hands of our operational owners, but until I can see everything that touches our apps at a realm level, we have it strictly limited to a very small group.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many necessary processes cannot be done in the legacy systems where the data lives. Bringing that data into Quickbase data hub apps via various integrations (Pipelines, Sync Tables, API Calls) allows our teams to do the work they need to do with the data while keeping the source of truth in the legacy system.

What do you like best about the product?
Quickbase has made our lives in the office side of our business so much easier by simplifying the tasks that we were previously done by hand. We have been able to cut back 6-8 hours of payroll processing time, as well as several hours in Excel doing manual calculations for our fuel data and profitability.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that it was simpler to create our own custom looks in Quickbase without having to get too much in to coding. If we were able to change the appearance around a bit more using internal Quickbase options, that would make things much better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quickbase helps us do things that we had no platform in which to do them before. Outside of Excel, we were still doing manual calculations for billings as well as time entry on our own. Quickbase has enabled us to get these tasks done much faster, allowing for that time to be spent on other important business tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and ability to customize every aspect.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can sometimes be difficult to find a specific answer in the support resources - even if it is a basic issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use QuickBase to build Apps that both generate in-depth metrics for our business as well as to manage projects. These applications in turn provide us with the information we need to make management decisions and ensure the customer service we deliver is exceptional.

A total waste of time

What do you like best about the product?
Since I joined my current company, we've been using Quickbase (or QB as we call it) for our time-in and time-out. QB is an all-in-one tool that not only logs your time-in and time-out but also our coaching sessions and our leave requests. That is what I like the most about QB, you can do a lot with just one tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Quickbasse has been an essential tool to our company. However, it is also irritating because if a huge number of people are using QB all at the same time to log their time-out, QB magically became inaccessible. It loads reaaaaaally slowly and it would sometimes log the wrong time on our log out. If you opened the site at say 5:57 am and clicked the end shift button at 6 o'clock, the time on your end shift would still be 5:57 am and not 6 o'clock. I am not sure why that is happening, but it's been happening since I joined my current company, and our IT team has been trying everything to work on this issue even before I joined the company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Probably having the log-ins, filing of coaching, and leave requests all at the same tool. With my previous jobs, log-in tools, coaching logs, and filing for leave requests would be done on separate tools, so having them all at the same tool is such a great help. On top of that, everyone can access theses stuff within QB, and that enables everyone to monitor the status of their leave requests.

What do you like best about the product?
Quickbase is very complete and allows for flexibility

I don't like the fact that they moved from Automations to Pipelines which are a lot more difficult to create, modify etc

Most of the information is in one place and there are automations that help project management.

What is our primary use case?

It is a broad-spectrum and flexible solution that helps you build anything you want.

How has it helped my organization?

I run my own business and the solution allows me to invoice and pay for additional resources. It has helped me in terms of invoicing, quoting, and doing recruitment measures.

What is most valuable?

The tool helps you to quickly generate reports.

What needs improvement?

The product works constantly to modernize the platform and they have made quite a lot of strides in that. I would like them to add additional features that would help us make API calls.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been working with the product for five years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The product is stable and I would rate it a nine out of ten.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

I would rate the tool's scalability a seven out of ten. There are some limitations in terms of size.

How was the initial setup?

The solution's setup is straightforward.

The solution offers ROI.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The solution is expensive and geared toward enterprise-level clients.

What other advice do I have?

I would rate the product a nine out of ten.

What do you like best about the product?
You can set up reports and different roles on Quickbase. That has been extremely helpful for my company.

The only downside is that you need someone with a lot of experience. The reports need to be a little more user friendly

When reaching out to support, they always respond to help with any issues though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are currently using Quickbase as our CRM for a solar company. This helps with tracking the operations aspect as well as the sales aspect of the company. Quickbase does a lot of cool things, you just need the experience to make it fast and easy.

Great software to build on your own

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoyed working on Quickbase as it felt like a plug and play. I wasn't sure if I would be able to do much in it, but I learned a lot on my own.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. I wish there were more resources to get more experience.

We tried creating our own reporting system.
