Best AI editor to build something fast with natural language

What do you like best about the product?
Its ability to process large amount of code, multiple agents like GPT, Claude etc and GIT like ability to go back in time. It is also faster at AI code generation and directly creates files where appropriate. I've used the application to build Node js applications, help me support in building plugins for woocommerce for our clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it has a free trial, the subscription is a tad bit expensive or maybe it is just me but honestly it saves a tone of time! While I've used it to build some simple applications, it gives a glimpse of how the future is going to look like in terms of programming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting a piece of code from GPT, Deepseek or Gemini isn't hard but Cursor has the ability to deal with large pieces of code and with the help of context, it gives better code output and thereby the results are better. Some times one agent fails but I could always use another agent. They retained the IDE interface by foking the VS code and adding new features. While IDE is for reference, most of the code could be generated with the help of natural language.

What do you like best about the product?
It can create a basic frontend from just a single prompt, with 'Agree' and 'Continue' options that look clean and professional. It also connects seamlessly with Supabase for full-stack applications, simplifying the process and saving a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is that live preview isn't available—that’s the one thing I don’t like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To be honest, I didn’t even know a single line of code, but I was still able to create and publish a website.

Cursor is an amazing tool

What do you like best about the product?
Truly, one of those apps that can be a game changer. As a novice coder it changed my outlook on what is possible for me to accomplish.

It seems like magic, but it's not quite magic yet. You need to structure your project, and prompt well. To get the best results. It's also amazing at debugging.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only draw back is the inconsistencies of whatever AI model your using. Sometimes it seems absolutely perfect, other times it can go off track for seemingly no reason.

Ultimately I really don't dislike anything fundamental about Cursor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pretty much any code related problem I ever had.

Cursor is a powerful no-code editor - more ideal for developers than for non-coders

  • March 21, 2025

What do you like best about the product?
It brought me, a non-coder, from 0 to 60% of my MVP easily. It gives good instructions.
What do you dislike about the product?
As I started to fine-tune my 60% ready MVP, Cursor becomes less helpful. It makes a lot of errors. I need to provide context (that is, the raw file) everytime so it does not create something while breaking what was built.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am not a coder. Cursor provides step by step instructions on how to set up my development and production environments. It generates all codes for me.
