What do you like best about the product?
Sharing of data and workload automation.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's nothing to do with Siemens more with our end of IT. Teamcenter does everything it's supposed to. There are a number of Features that we use in the testbed on a daily basis and it was very easy to integrate into our system. We also have had EXCELLENT technical support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It offers us the ability to track all products we develop from Concept to Completion and share the workload seamlessly between colleagues and departments.

What do you like best about the product?
being able to quickly track and share CAD data. Ease of use once you understand it, and how straight forward most things are.
What do you dislike about the product?
load time, can be clunky when switching between structure manager, projects tab, and the org viewer. Refresh issues seem to come up a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teamcenter tracks or CAD data data and BOM's. It makes it easy to access the data and share it when needed. Also having the option to baseline or hard release data to track gates is very useful.

One stop shop for locating, retrieving, visualizing data
What do you dislike about the product?
some features are not intuitive in AWC and there is some overlap with session files and snapshots that can be confusing

Visualizing data on laptops using lightweight data vs cumbersome prt files...allows for our users to do some interrogations and markups without using NX
Somewhat difficult to use as an outside user

it seems organized for siemens products.

The experience is somewhat lacking for outside contributors to a 3rd party.

It's helping our client organize their design deliverables across multiple outside organizations.

Usability of the application. its very intutive

Upgrade from very old version to newest teamcenter version requires step upgrade

Have used Ideas in the past which had its own Data management. it was too clumsy. With TC PLM it enables the multi user working on the same design

Super configurable system with lots of ability to connect whatever software you have

Very complicated, requires a fairly mature Engineering IT team to manage and configure
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teamcenter is our repository for all CAD and BOM data. It allows us to access our engineering documentation from anywhere with with good performance.
Great Product with Huge Potential
What do you like best about the product?
Single location to access multiple programs, store files, and track Workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Chat feature and collaboration can be difficult and other programs are usually used at my company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It works very well to manage product approvals, archive data, and manage revisions.
Using it for a cohesive way for my users to collaborate on projects.

Using Workflows and CDRLS to smoothly and effectively solve problems and come up with solutions for my users.

The searching capabilities in AWC is confusing for users ,but should be solved with AI but we have not implemented yet.

Teamcenter solves my users issues with being able to collaborate and smoothly solve problems in a concise manner.

Comprehensive range of solutions covering all phases of product development. Scalable, performant, user friendly.

Architecture could get better. Integrations with other PLM/CAD could be better.
