Seamless Cloud Security with Zscaler: Fast, Reliable, and Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
Our organisation has switched from existing VPN to Zscaler and it is really doing a great job in kind of cyber security. It is easy to install and operate one of the best fully cloud solution any one can at any corner of world can easily get this software. It has good unified solution which combines ZIA, ZPA, DLP etc. The real time telemetry is above the mark and it inlines with SSL inspection. Faster and reliable. It is easy to configure, troubleshoot and monitor.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface or UI can be more enhanced and sometimes the reports slowdowns in SSL inspection apart from this everything is good. Sometimes it get disconnect automatically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We mostly use Zscaler for Private application access (ZPA) which allow our own software to run hassles free and monitoring user experience and productivity.

What I appreciate most about Zscaler Private Access is its ability to deliver secure and seamless access to internal applications without the need for traditional VPNs. One aspect I find frustrating about Zscaler Private Access is that troubleshooting can be quite difficult at times. Since access is separated from the underlying network, resolving connectivity problems often means working through several layers, including policies, connectors, identity, and application settings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zscaler Private Access addresses the shortcomings of traditional VPNs by offering secure, identity-based access to internal applications without exposing the entire network. By removing the need for full tunnel VPNs, it helps reduce the attack surface and blocks lateral movement within the network. For me, this results in enhanced security, easier access management, and a noticeably faster, more seamless user experience.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the enhanced security that Zscaler Private Access provides by allowing no network access and eliminating the need for public IP addresses. This means users never have direct network access, and it reduces the risk of security breaches since attackers cannot see or ping the network. The feature that applications remain hidden and require no NAT makes them invisible to potential attackers, which significantly bolsters security. Furthermore, I enjoy the seamless user experience Zscaler Private Access offers as it operates quietly in the background, making the transition smooth and user-friendly without interrupting workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though Zscaler Private Access provides substantial benefits, the migration process was somewhat challenging. Some of the difficulties included mapping network-access-based systems to app-based access, identifying all internal application user accesses, and dealing with user resistance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Zscaler Private Access for secure remote access, eliminating slow, unreliable VPN. It offers no network access, no need for public IPs, and a seamless user experience, reducing security risks and keeping applications hidden from attackers.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Zscaler Private Access completely removes the need for traditional VPNs. It provides seamless, zero-trust access to internal applications without exposing the network, which significantly reduces attack surfaces. The user experience is smooth, connections are fast, and access policies are easy to manage across distributed teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t dislike much about ZPA, but when something does go wrong, it’s not always obvious where the issue is whether it’s connectivity, policy, or the Zscaler client. It takes a bit of learning to get comfortable with the troubleshooting flow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ZPA has solved a lot of the friction I used to face with VPNs, slow logins, dropped connections, and access issues when working remotely. Now I can securely access internal apps instantly, and everything runs in the background. It’s more secure and way more convenient.

Its replaced Cisco VPN and good security tool to use in everyday work in big companies who has multi country and global presence.

It blocks the local computer resources which are used at home, being in office is okay but when u work at home and want to use some tool and local printer it blocks.

By channelizing traffic at the application level instead of providing full network access, it significantly reduces unnecessary network load and improves performance. This approach not only minimizes network congestion but also enhances security by eliminating lateral movement.
From a user perspective, it provides seamless and reliable connectivity to internal applications while reducing dependency on network routing or multiple access gateways. Overall, it simplifies access, increases efficiency, and delivers a better user experience while strengthening the organization’s Zero Trust security posture.
