What do you like best about the product?
We primarily utilize Tray.io for our Risk, Vulnerability, and Incident Management automations. The platform offers an array of tools and integrations that enable us to swiftly respond to various situations. While it provides valuable functionalities, there are instances where developing the right solution can be a bit complex. However, we appreciate that the Tray.io team is actively working on improving user-friendliness, and regular updates are helping to address this concern.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some integrations can be less intuitive, demanding a more in-depth understanding of the tools to effectively implement them. Despite this, Tray.io remains a reliable and powerful automation platform for streamlining our processes in Risk, Vulnerability, and Incident Management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tray.io helps us with the integration of tools and the automation of repetitive steps that require more attention when scaling or resolving an incident. It's causing a great improvement on the resolution times.

Not quite as easy as pitched, but easy enough a marketing person can learn it.

What do you like best about the product?
They have continued to build connectors to work with different platforms we use, and their team that interacts with users on Slack is responsive and awesome! We were able to connect PestRoutes, which does not normally integrate with most other platforms, with HubSpot and several other tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was a little more complicated than initially anticipated, but it is still fairly easy to use. Their pricing structure also has changed several times over the past year, which has made it somewhat more difficult to plan for. However, their support team is great to work with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tray helped us bridge PestRoutes to other tools like Hubspot, Google Sheets, Podium and others. We were able to make data go back and forth between the systems.

Easy to iterate on the solution and has helpful logging of events for troubleshooting.

What do you like best about the product?
Our AM team is incredibly responsive and helpful. Tray routinely has webinars for both new and pre-existing feature that enhance our team's understanding of the paltform. On top of that, Tray's platform is straightforward to learn and use, even for those in non-developer roles.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything I don't like about the Tray platform. If there's anything we don't know how to do, our AM team is very responsive or their documentation clearly defines and explains what we're looking to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Tray platform connects our entire financial ecosystem (5+ systems). On top of that, we're starting to utilize the Tray platform for more niche solutions outside the finance department.

What do you like best about the product?
It is one of the most excellent and intuitive tools for the assortment of data, arranging and sending them through various servers and other integrated platforms. The software Tray.io also supports assimilation with multiple connectors. The software also includes some features for designing and creating all the workflow processes required for completing tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the documentation procedure in this platform is a little bit slow or lags when using integrated connectors. Deploying integration with some heavy software is laggy in the workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many of our workflow processes are automated with this platform's fantastic features, which made it easier for my team to work more accurately. The software was excellent and helped us remove all the issues and barriers we experienced while integrating.

Robust and flexible workflow automation tool

  • January 07, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of the platform is unmatched! It's also relatively simple to use. Everything is composed visually, which helps with organizing and tracking workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Auditing/troubleshooting a workflow is more complicated than it needs to be. There is no way to easily track references between steps in a workflow without checking each step for a reference.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tray.io is eliminating much of the complexity of integration and process automation without limiting functionality. It allows my team to set up automations for clients that enable their businesses.

Tray.io is a versatile and easy to use platform for any kinds of cross application itegrations.

What do you like best about the product?
The connector system is very convenient, with addition of a JSONPaths the integration process is easy and fun to use. Platform itself is suitable for everyone with a basic understanding of APIs and networking. But can also be used for more complex issues with use of custom scripts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside is a time of execution and the history of logs. To get the output you need to switch between "build" and "logs" sections to obtain the data received from connectors. The logs also need some kind of hierarchy (e.g. when using loops or booleans) to achieve a better readability. The documentation also could be more detailed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows to create all types of integrations between two or even more applications. It is very flexible and practical. All the logic is placed in one place and the developer doesn't need to jump between APIs of different applications.
