WalkMe will be your favorite Digital Assistant

  • August 30, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
WalkMe will most likely enhance the user experience on your platform. It can serve as training material, a reminder, a teaching tool, or a resource... Insights is by far my favorite part of WM as it provides so much data that you can use to improve your platform and WalkMe itself.
What do you dislike about the product?
If not built correctly, it can cause confusion for end users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The digital transformation for various processes was more effortless with WM. The analysis of user behavior in the system gave many clues about what should be better configured and in which direction. By using walk me right at the beginning of the implementation phase, users became familiar with the purpose of the system and got used to using it as a tool.

What do you like best about the product?
The options for configuring the solutions
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not always easy to use and training is therefor essential
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are still at the beginning of the implementation but what we see for so far is more and clear guidance in our application. We see also that the direct communication through Launcher is working great.

A Powerful Tool for Tech Companies to Solve User Problems and Bridge Technical Gaps

  • August 30, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
WalkMe provides a set of various solutions. We could use them by mixing and matching them to fit the use case we are solving. The available features are way ahead of the available competitor solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
A couple of the available solutions are not evolved to a full extent and still need some feature enhancements to solve complex problems. Customization features for surveys will be a game changer on how can receive feedback from users instead of relying on the other alternative survey tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using WalkMe for improving the user onboarding process. Alongside, we use WalkMe to reach out to the users when a new feature or enhancement is done and give the information helping them to adapt to the newest versions.

Customizable and Insightful Tool with Easy Setup

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find WalkMe very simple to use and completely customizable, which allows me to use the system's or company's colors and melt content in the system seamlessly. I appreciate the powerful insights it provides, as they assist in planning the content we should build and help evaluate its efficiency. Additionally, the setup was quite easy thanks to a WalkMe Customer Success Manager being there and training us to get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maintenance can be lenghty
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WalkMe helps my team with slow adoption and complex customization of the Ariba system. I love its simplicity, full customization, and powerful insights that guide content planning and efficiency evaluation.

What do you like best about the product?
Marcus Mayberry provides amazing customer service. WalkMe reps are available and ready to answer questions. The product has been useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some aspects of the product are hard to learn when I, the user, am completely new to a subject. For instance, JQuery. I believe this is too advance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping our customers navigate Workday.

    Medical Devices

Impressed with the functionality and easy to build solutions.

What do you like best about the product?
time saving - no need to spend time with users on individual guidance - we direct them to specific walkme items instead of explaining.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of auto-notifications on broken SWT steps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves us time in user guidance an minimizes training efforts as well as supports immediate communication regarding ad hoc system changes.

My WalkMe experience was already good, but it has gotten even better since Joy Adiv returned.

What do you like best about the product?
WalkMe helps us a lot in the UX of our app, facilitating the user's journey (with Smart Walk Thrus), helping to communicate new features (with ShoutOuts) and creating new launchers that would take weeks of development if we were to create in our app.
I would like to thank all the help Joy has been giving us, bringing a lot of insights and cool ideas for us to implement!
And I would also like to thank all the help and attention that Jason Foose gave us in a support ticket.
What do you dislike about the product?
WalkMe has some limitations.
An example is that we would like to build a Shout-out saying "you have an active promotion, check the promotions page", which would appear in the Product Listing Page ONLY if the customer has any active promotions (i.e. if the promotion page is populated).
In short, we would like the customer to only enter the promotion page if it is populated with a promotion, and this shout-out would help us with that.
But it was not possible to create, because for WalkMe to check if the promotion page was populated, the user would have to enter the promotion page first, and that is what we would like to avoid.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WalkMe helps us teach users how to use our app: how to make a purchase, how to edit an order, how to download Invoices...
It solves the problem of the user getting lost inside our app, not knowing how to do these things.

Robust, customizable tool with great client support

  • August 24, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the various modalities that WalkMe can serve various business needs and each can be customized to match branding while also achieving business and education goals for our products. The analytics are really powerful, and we're just learning to tap into them to make real decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a pretty steep learning curve with WalkMe, even as someone with a background in e-learning technologies. In order to implement some of the basic functionality you have to have to get somewhat technical using jQuery and CSS. I know I appreciated the challenge this gave me, and I've enjoyed what I've learned, but if you are not technologically-saavy and a fast learner, it may a long time before you are proficient in the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use WalkMe as our primary communication tool with our large client base. We used to only contact them via email, and our open-rate was abysmal. Now we are confident that our users are getting our updates. Additionally, we use WalkMe as our on-demand training library for users and have also peppered in SmartTips throughout our sites to assist clients. This has reduced the amount of individualized client trainings and total implementation time for our software.

easy to use in almost every case

  • August 24, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
You can create your own tailor made solutions. No more long time for development.
What do you dislike about the product?
the contract is quite expensive, if you are in trouble that needs an immediate assistance you'll have to write an email, receive a prewrote email and maybe the next day someone will help you
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
walkme is solving problems related to communication with our customers, we can communicate our technical maintenance for example. More valuable walkme can help us to solve our customer navigation issues. We can fix faster almost any compliant from our customers

Easy to use and self-serving

  • August 11, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
WalkMe as a training tool is easy to use and self-serving, accessible in different countries and in different languages. Training is easy to build – and has a fast-learning curve both for the builder to develop expertise on the tool, as well as end-users using the tool.

End-users benefit from the opportunity to have user-friendly and intuitive in-platform guidance, from their very first steps through to their day-to-day activities - able to have training (and refreshes) at their own pace and at their point of need.

Digital Adoption has allowed us to reach all the regions with a uniform approach to training. It has permitted us to save FTE time, by providing guidance when needed to the user as it’s always available. It has also helped us navigate change management during this project.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that WalkMe still has room to grow and develop, e.g.:
- WalkMe functionality: currently don't have the action option to open TeachMe, as we do with the WalkMe Menu; only 4 items can be added to the WalkMe Menu (SWT, Shuttles, Resources & Onboarding Tasks), and 3 for TeachMe (SWT, Shuttles, Resources) - sometimes it may not cover users' needs.
- limitations on data extraction on Insights or TeachMe dashboard – even the new Report Builder does not give us full autonomy over dimensions and measures to analyse (e.g., extract course completion by regions)
- Allows linear flows only - you can't link a step back to a previous one
- Single static menu for all end users - not flexible to different audiences
- Onboarding completion condition - task completion is based on selected goals, and not SWT completion; means we have to specify things that are clicked
- Smaller Screen Resolution - balloons interfering/covering screen elements and/or being cut off the screen
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To date, we have been using WalkMe tools as an internal training device to grant users autonomy over their learning as it is self-service help, coupled with traditional training. TeachMe and WalkMe in tandem have been terrific, as they have enabled us to consolidate training by creating courses with specific lessons within, allowing us to structure the online training much like our face-to-face training. This consolidation and structure have been important as they have allowed us to try something new as a business and aid us to move into a more digital world by ensuring software adoption, streamline large-scale, complex, and disruptive transformation by overcoming change, empowering employees, and increasing platform usability. With WalkMe, we have 120+ content set-up ready to walk our users through our new platform, training them how they’re able carry out their day-to-day in the new world.
