Great asset management application
What do you like best about the product?
The convinience to manage, patch and configure your assets from one central point.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have more information if a patch/installation fails and more information regarding application installation in general.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Patch and application management of clients and servers.
Centralized Endpoint that u can get
What do you like best about the product?
This app is incredible and centralized. If you want to manage all the devices or licenses, click and little Configure. You can sync the device to this app, which is better than another app I used before.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is expensive as another app, but it needs a few more requirements, like a single distribution server; the user experience is a little more difficult if you are new to endpoint central, but if you are experienced there is easier you can get.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized endpoint and managing the device in the office, easier to manage and deploy the device.
Vital to our orgnaization
What do you like best about the product?
I love the deployment and remote options. Being able to send patches has been useful as well. It defintely has made my job of maintaining over 500 users easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issues are the several steps to deploy software. I wish it were a simpler way to deploy beside.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our IT Department didn't have a way to manage our PCs. We also didn't have remote software to help solve tickets from our desks.
10 years so far
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of Patching, remote control with Screen record, pushing out reg edits, GPO, and many other very useful features. Image Deployments can be pushed and completed in as little as 7 minutes. There is the additional Mobile Device Management.
We also have the new Security package, which allows several great features like BitLocker Mgmt. browser control, and others.
We also have the new Security package, which allows several great features like BitLocker Mgmt. browser control, and others.
What do you dislike about the product?
Patch management could be better with handling superseded patches and rollups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Central pane management, threat assessment, unified control platform, and cost savings over other platforms. EPC makes it easy to see what is what at any time and find machines that are EOL or will not support certain requirements. The ability to schedule reports, including custom reports, has been beneficial to us in determining issues or possible issues before they happen. The UEM fir Win 10/11/Server has made it very easy to manage, push fixes, and determine vulnerabilities in our network.
ManageEngine is a reliable tool that offers a variety of useful features.
What do you like best about the product?
It has a robust toolset that helps with many aspects of your IT environment, whether it be simple remote management to asset tracking, mobile device management, and software deployment.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't handle display resolution changes well while you are connected via remote tools. You typically need to disconnect and reconnect to regain control after a display change.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ManageEngine Endpoint Central solves remote management, software deployment, software patching, and asset tracking. It made working from home, travel, and managing remote offices a easy option.
Best Endpoint Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to Troubleshoot and Resolve Issue Remotely. Application management and Patch management work very seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is taking more time to understand the product and tools. After that it is very easy to manage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
End to End system troubleshooting and Automation. Manageengine is saving a lot of IT Admin's time and end-user time.
Everything you need for an endpoint management tool, with nothing that you don't
What do you like best about the product?
Endpoint Central is versatile, flexible and feature-rich. I love that I pay for only what we need, which is very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that i dislike about Endpoint Central.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using ManageEngine's Endpoint Central, we used WSUS. The way that Microsoft applied its updates now allows the WSUS server and the servers it manages to decide when to apply updates, and it caused our servers to reboot in the middle of the day. This obviously was a huge issue. With Endpoint Central, we determine when updates are downloaded and applied to all devices, including servers. We haven't has an issue with a server reboot in the middle of a work day since.
Great management software
What do you like best about the product?
System misconfiguration is so helpful to find vulnerabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I dislike about the software
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing 3rd party software patches is the biggest benefit but I have also stopped using WSUS since it is so much easier to manage in one place with EPC.
Excellent user and team manager
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing is the centralized attention that can be provided through the tool to both users and teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to update agents on computers with each update
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me keep my equipment up to date and quickly connect to workstations to deal with incidents
Manage Engine Patch managment takes the mystery out of windows updates.
What do you like best about the product?
The system is very easy to use. Once a week over coffee I do some clicking to approve and push out updates that were not automatic. I can easily sort machines by the number of missing updates and deploy those items.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any negative observations of the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The built-in Windows update system is very flawed. Machines frequently did not install updates, and even when they did, you have no way of knowing. With 79 desktops, this was a constant concern. With Manage Engine, I know for sure what was installed and when. All matching update statuses are on a single screen.
