Amazing
What do you like best about the product?
Largue suite of functionality and uses ranging from patch management, to remoting in, pushing configurations, and more. I access it daily and more so now after the workshop. It's well made and easy to utilize as well as implement the features within the suite.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful aspect would be more of a lack of knowledge or awareness of avaialable functionality that manage engine offers, but this is offset through continued use and training where available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consolidating pushing updates, patches, configurations, and more across all PC's within our company.

Reliable and Feature-Rich Endpoint Management
What do you like best about the product?
I find ManageEngine Endpoint Central incredibly valuable due to its easy access and array of features that significantly enhance my workflow. The platform offers excellent remote access capabilities, allowing me to manage our computers and inventory with ease and efficiency. The patching and security features are particularly helpful, ensuring our systems are always up-to-date and secure. I appreciate the options such as remote access, shutdown, and reboot, which make system management straightforward. Moreover, the group policy configuration streamlines administrative tasks effectively. The software deployment capability is a huge plus, as it simplifies the installation of essential programs like antivirus and endpoint protection software across the network. The initial setup process was smooth and uncomplicated, thanks to an intuitive installation package. These aspects collectively make ManageEngine Endpoint Central an indispensable tool for our IT management needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the offline agent issues in ManageEngine Endpoint Central. Sometimes laptops appear to be offline, requiring a manual reboot to appear online. This is inconvenient and disrupts smooth operations, as the devices can't be managed remotely without intervention.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use ManageEngine Endpoint Central for streamlined OS deployment, easy remote access, and security features, enhancing our control over computers and inventory. Group policy configuration and software deployment are efficient, with an intuitive setup process.
Great Experience thus far - Still scratching the Surface
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of access that is available to remote into devices and troubleshoot problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the automatic software install feature will give out generic errors with little to no details as to why. I find that there are inconsistencies on software installs, even though every package seems to be the exact same.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not too much - Usually the knowledge base is very clear on how to setup features when I attempt a new process.
Endpoint management software
What do you like best about the product?
Endpoint management is very good and update control seems promising, I believe the tool should add value
What do you dislike about the product?
I had problems with support. I found support to be somewhat slow in resolving my issues
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accessing Windows and Linux computers with a graphical interface independent of the VPN is very good
Useful but can encounter errors when remoting onto user desktop
What do you like best about the product?
It's functionality is great and I use it day to day when users are not located on site. I find the information it provides on user hardware integral to business use.
What do you dislike about the product?
remote connections can sometimes freeze and that means I have to reload the connection
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
connecting to users remotely in the business
Simplified the management of patches
What do you like best about the product?
Once a month I log in to the web GUI and select whether to approve the long list of patches. We have over 150 endpoints and servers, both Linux and Windows, and ManageEngine Endpoint Central makes it easy to keep them compliant.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure if it's a true downside, but the capabilities of this software are vast and we don't use half of them. This means that the system is a little daunting to new users. It can also be a little hard to work out why patches have failed to install, although this doesn't happen very often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are audited regularly to ensure that all machines are correctly patched and we rarely find any that aren't. We can output auditor-friendly proof of the latest patch level of any machines requested.
ManageEngine Endpoint Central as a patching tool
What do you like best about the product?
This product stands out as the market leader for patching. Endpoint Central includes encompasses Patch Management as well as Vulnerability Scanning which is excellent for compliance. I'm utilising the cloud-based for the trial, but there is on-premises solution as well.
The product covers all my company's needs for bringing my company up to compliance standards for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Unfortunately I haven't found any product that matches the Windows and Linux capabilities for macOS, so this might be a macOS limitation.
The documentation and sales team have been very useful for our trial and proof of concept. It was easy to integrate into our environment. Creating deployment and patching polices was simple and has worked as expected. We're currently using it daily in our POC.
I'm currently on a free trial but I will be highly recommeding we proceed with its implementation for both our company and our customers.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I have encountered has been a dealbreaker.
ManageEngine uses an agent for patch deployment, which is excellent for unmanaged machines, but for managed machines it could be redundant. I would like to see integration with MDMs like Microsoft Intune and JAMF in future, so all software deployment is centralised.
I would like to see more options for macOS as well, but as I mentioned in what I like this doesn't seem to be unique to ManageEngine.

I've never liked EC or Desktop Central. Very difficult to navigate the app, support is about 50% good, and updates and patches have never worked well.
