Great for Document Automation, Startup Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I like how straightforward Conga Composer is once you get the hang of it. The core concepts make sense, and building or updating documents becomes pretty routine once you're familiar with how everything works. One of the best aspects is probably the documentation, as it really helps with getting documents out to customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main challenge is getting to a high level of understanding Conga Composer. It has a lot of moving parts, so creating or troubleshooting solutions requires checking multiple areas like templates, queries, supporting objects, and automation. Issues are not always obvious, and resolving them needs a broad understanding of the full setup rather than just a quick fix. Also, for beginners, it can be quite difficult and complicated at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Conga Composer to generate quotes, contracts, and invoices within our company. It helps us send documents with the desired design and branding and allows us to bring data back into our Salesforce org.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Conga Composer to generate documents easily by eliminating manual repetitive processes, making it a one-click process. It dynamically generates documents for multiple records directly from Salesforce data, removing the need for manual document creation for each record. I find it easy to integrate with multiple applications, which adds flexibility and reliability. I love how Composer is improving by adapting to new technologies, making it more reliable. For example, they recently introduced ColumnHide and TableHide functionality, reducing the dependency on MS Word limitations and proving useful with automation apps like Conga Batch/Trigger or Salesforce Flows. This makes it a highly automated dynamic document generation tool. It is simple to integrate with other products, such as DocuSign, allowing us to use multiple functionalities directly with Composer's Solution URL parameters. The initial setup was straightforward, and their support provides documentation, so I can rely on them if I encounter challenges.
What do you dislike about the product?
One major thing that can be improved is, sometimes while using complex templates inside Conga Composer or using multiple nested logic within a template, it causes a lot of delay in generating the document.

Fast PDF Generation and Helpful Documentation
What do you like best about the product?
PDF generation is quick. Adding merge field to refer to the latest data to populate on templates that is interesting. Conga documentation is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
For initial setup in new salesforce org, somewhere clear instructions should be given which will be helpful for conga beginners

PDF generation in few seconds is as per the requirement and attach as file on salesforce object or on parent object.

Conga Composer has been particularly helpful for us when handling large deals that involve numerous products and customers.

At times, the data in documents isn't entirely accurate and it's difficult to determine its source. However, their support system does make things somewhat easier.

Conga Composer has been instrumental in helping us manage large deals, particularly when it comes to supporting tender teams in understanding complex transactions.

What do you like best about the product?
We like how Conga Composer provides admins the ability to configure custom solutions that can be placed on custom objects, and that solution queries the data from the custom object, puts it in the template, and generates the document smoothly. With just one click on a custom-designed button, we can have the document generated along with sending it to the client and getting the record updated automatically with the latest updates. This proves how well Conga Composer is designed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Composer’s document generation service is managed by Conga and is deployed on their cloud. We frequently face issues where, during peak hours, the service goes down, and the response we receive is that they are working on it rather than proactively ensuring these issues do not occur.

Composer helps us design custom solutions with accurate documentation from the Conga side, and these solutions help us save a lot of time, allowing us to use that time for other activities

What do you like best about the product?
This is the best solution we've found for generating complex documents needed for our offers and tenders. It handles the intricacies of our requirements very well and has made the process much more efficient.

At first, setting up Conga Composer required a significant amount of effort and time. However, the outcome has proven to be worthwhile, as it is now streamlining our business processes and saving us a great deal of time.

By centralizing many of our business functions, it has helped us save both money and time. This has made our organization more efficient overall.

What do you like best about the product?
Composer is a good product that provides great eSignature integration options, through which we can integrate external eSignature applications with Composer for a secure document email process. Conga provides simple integration options that an admin can configure easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Composer sometimes does not work due to server issues on the Conga end. Conga should ensure that Composer services are stable for use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Composer helps us generate documents quickly, send them to clients using external integrations, and receive live updates from external applications into Composer records with accurate details.
Composer AI Features Makes Day to Day Task Easy with Easy Prompts and Quick Responses
What do you like best about the product?
Composer now supports AI features through which we can standardize processes and provide prompts to Composer AI, which then performs the work automatically, saving time. One such feature is that with AI, we can create contracts, generate them, and send them using a single prompt, where we can include custom information specific to the client.
What do you dislike about the product?
Composer’s document generation process takes a long time for large-sized documents, and Conga should focus heavily on improving this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Composer because of its AI-driven capabilities and extensive customization options. It enables us to leverage AI prompts to accelerate sales processes and tailor AI-generated responses based on specific departmental requirements. Additionally, Composer supports complex Word components, allowing us to design and customize templates to a very high degree of precision and flexibility.

I use Conga Composer for creating customized letters and documents in our Salesforce instance using merge fields. Composer makes it easy for users to send customized documents without having to type them up, which is a fantastic use of automation. Once it is set up, it is very easy for the user, and updating the templates is easy for the admin. Alos the technical assistance from their team has been wonderful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating the actual solution is a bit tricky but gets easier with experience. Instead of having to remember the parameters, perhaps there could be drop-down selections?
