Conga Composer integrates into Salesforce
What do you like best about the product?
Conga Composer integrates seamlessly with Salesforce which is highly valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is pricey but other than that no complaints.

What do you like best about the product?
Having used Conga Composer internally and for many many of our clients it has become clear that it's top 3 attributes are...
1. Salesforce Integration is Outstanding - this makes it possible to create documents from anywhere in salesforce
2. Product maturity and flexibility shows - the depth of capabilities, configurability make the results excellent
3. Speed of use - whether as a developer or user, the speed at which you can generate Composer solutions is FAST

What do you dislike about the product?
Truthfully, there really is not anything that I don't like.
It could handle custom sort orders better (where the displayed order is not the order in the source data)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conga Composer is solving the following key issues across the customer journey...
1. Contract Generation (NDA, MSA etc.)
2. Quote Generation
3. OnBoarding Documentation
4. Project Updates Document Generation (PPT)

What do you like best about the product?
Most helpful - combines several objects into one form.
What do you dislike about the product?
Least helpful - not easy for a non-tech person to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to combine multiple objects together into one document. This replaces a very labor intensive workflow and made our employees extremely happy!
Very useful for document generation

Must have for any complex document generations and love how many objects it can support

More proper docuemntation overall on all the features with bettwe examples will make the experience better and customer support can be much better

Useful but need developer level skills to customize to fullest potential
What do you like best about the product?
Where Salesforce leaves off, Conga picks up. Conga helps do tasks like populate templates with Salesforce fields to help personalize the business.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating Conga solutions mostly takes advanced admin or better, developer level skills in Salesforce. Knowing SoQL is a must.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making highly customized reciepts and other templates that are sent to donor/customers. Also, customized printing of records.
Creating customer documents on the fly
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about conga composer is the ease with which we were able to create the documents and also update the existing documents on the fly. It is also pretty fast to create multiple templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike at all, only thing which could be improved is about the ease of integrations with multiple sources at once. Also, maybe a little about the license cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used the conga composer to create the quote documents, contract documents and order documents to be sent and signed by the customer. We are also using it to version the quote generation process.
Conga word and excel templates
What do you like best about the product?
its really good in document generation sorry professional documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
the lack most of the things like one was we cant acess third level information with grouping in word template.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
my client wanted to generate different kind of documents related to quote lines and now have automated all those documents in a professional way and this helped my client business alot.
Tool with many limitations
What do you like best about the product?
The tool can do almost everything it sets out to do, we've been using it for several years. A nice point is that you can select tables that have no direct relationship with the object you are working with.
What do you dislike about the product?
In more complex scenarios, the tool does not work, you will need to make many adaptations to your data structure to adapt to its limitations. For example, you cannot access more than two levels down in the data structure. And the user interface is very old and poor, to configure a template you will need to have a very good notion of data modeling in Salesforce, and in other tools on the market you can do this just by dragging fields on the screen.

Generation of contracts, and can also generate other types of documents, such as sales proposals.
Horrible onboarding process combined with an outdated complicated functionality
What do you like best about the product?
There is nothing to like unless you enjoy being frustrated with a poor platform design and useless employees who do not provide support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their onboarding process is not there...........once we signed up, there was ZERO guidance to getting the platform installed into salesforce. The layout / flow of their platform is poorly designed in that there is no guided experience to creating your document.......the one they have is worthless with no help tools. Separately, they have links on their guided experience that take you to a generic conga page that is not relevant to the area you are working. . Furthermore, they use weird terms to describe things like "solution." vs. "Create a new document and button". They also have all these weird codes for your document to do certain things vs just using words and/or providing a help icon to explain what the weird term means. To make things exciting, we have paid for Conga yet we can't use it any longer as our "trial has expired" so another winning element to this platform as they take your money and somehow have issues. We signed a contract with them, so how we had a trial platform is very odd.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conga created more problems as a result of poor quality employees combined with a poor platform design. It's easier to create your documents in visual force than use Conga.

Can be difficult at times when support is required

Makes it easy to generate important business documents and coupled with the email template covering makes it easy to distribute document to customers
