Vertice drives better SaaS management
What do you like best about the product?
Vertice are fully committed to helping manage SaaS spend. Providing not only an excellent software solution for administering SaaS (and non-SaaS), but their procurement service will save money.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides to using Vertice. The service pays for itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bringing greater organisation to the procurement process and saving money on SaaS spend.
Procurement Simplified, Powerful Insights
What do you like best about the product?
I use Vertice as our Procurement partner, and I really appreciate their insights and contract benchmarks. These insights help us understand if the proposals we receive are good or if we should push for a better deal or additional features, keeping us from blindly accepting offers. Their support in contract negotiations is great; they lead the conversations, gather needed information, and keep us informed on key decisions to ensure we get the best deals. The platform also gives us a nice overview of our contracts with reminders of expirations and auto-renewals, which is essential since we don't have a dedicated procurement department. The initial setup was very straightforward, too. Vertice's integration with Slack for contract expiration notifications and renewal triggers is also something I find valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform itself could be improved as it feels a bit slow / clunky sometimes. On occasion, the platform is less responsive as a whole, but one area that is clearly slow is the analytics section, even though I can understand that some of the reports might be complex to compile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vertice acts as our Procurement partner, providing expertise and a platform for contract management. It centralizes contract views, alerts us to expirations, aids in negotiations with insights and benchmarks, and supports with regulatory terms.

Vertice Makes SaaS Spend Management Easy with Engaged Negotiation Support
What do you like best about the product?
Vertice offers a great platform to store all SaaS purchases/subscriptions. Easy to navigate. Rigid approval process. Staff is engaged and committed to negotiate on your behalf. Invoice scanning uses AI to reduce the number of fields needed to be filled in. The tool is as effective as the process defined.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform needs more self-help features. Every change requires assistance from the support team. It would also be nice if there was a lookup for average pricing for different products. If legacy negotiated pricing could be available for lookup, it would save a lot of time and effort to meet with various vendors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vertice helps us with negotiations with our SaaS vendors. They offer various strategies and tactics that produces real results during renewal talks. The platform enforces a solid process for us. Department tools are planned, approved, and deployed; Vertice helps us keep track of the process. Renewals are visible allowing us to plan for the renewal talks.
Accurate SaaS Pricing, Smooth Integrations, and an Accessible Procurement Team
What do you like best about the product?
Vertice’s UI/UX makes it easy to get accurate, up-to-date pricing on SaaS applications, leveraging an already large vendor dataset in their catalogue. I feel comfortable using the platform for R&D and for narrowing down the scope of SaaS tools we need for a specific instance. The team at Vertice is very accessible, and their procurement team is consistently available to answer questions or provide guidance on deals.
On the integration side, Vertice works well with our SSO and our internal ticketing system, and it also integrates smoothly with Slack. They’ve also recently added a new AI tool that lets you run requests directly from the dashboard without leaving the page; it can even look up pricing or analyze deals.

What do you dislike about the product?
One downside to using Vertice is that they still seem to be in the early stages of development. While that can mean they’re eager to move quickly and deliver results, it may also mean they don’t yet have as many resources or as much vendor-specific context when it comes to negotiations. That said, I don’t really hold this against them, since the SaaS marketplace is huge and constantly expanding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We struggled to find a unified service that could procure, negotiate, and communicate on our behalf. Vertice is helping us identify overlap in our SaaS stack, recognize which tools aren’t meeting our ROI expectations, and find the best pricing for SaaS. We’ve also seen improved onboarding performance for new SaaS purchases.

The support we get from Vertice is amazing. Previous apps that have filled this role did not have the human side of the equation ironed out.
What do you dislike about the product?
Any new tool involves a learning curve. Vertice is pretty easy to use, but in fairness it is yet another tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
App consolidation, vendor management, negotiations, and pricing guidelines. Pretty comprehensive.
Customer-Oriented UI with Customizable Workflows That Keep Renewals on Track
What do you like best about the product?
The platform’s UI/UX, the quality of the buyers, and the team really stand out. Vertice is customer-oriented and works based on feedback from customers. The workflows can be easily customized, which really helps me renew my SaaS contracts on time and anticipate what’s coming next. For the moment we havn't connected Vertice to our procurement stack or CLM but will definitely work on that in the future. Overall the commercial is fair compare to the value provider.
What do you dislike about the product?
No S2P suite at the moment, it would be really intersting to see what they propose in the future. Being more free to set up the fields ourselves would be amazing and to configure the data that we want to display in the platform

Renewing our SaaS contract on time is handled by professional IT buyers. The orchestration helps ensure that the procurement process is fully managed from start to finish.
Saves Time Upfront and Helps Anchor Future Conversations
What do you like best about the product?
Saving a ton of initial time in evaluating + helping teach best practices for next conversations
What do you dislike about the product?
The team is not as fast in certain instances. Would be great to get more granular in communication (meeting scheduled, done evaluation will follow up in certain amount of time, prelim results, etc.)

Saving a lot of time upfront evaluating solutions across a broad spectrum and negotiating

Saving costs, Negotiating with 3rd parties, Building a more convenient system that builds security/ data compliance review more fluidly into the procurement process
Vertice Goes Above and Beyond in Contract Negotiations
What do you like best about the product?
Vertice are super helpful when it comes to contract negotiations. They always listen to what it is we require and always go above and beyond to meet those requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Them being SaaS only! It would be great if they could work on non-SaaS contracts too

Vertice has helped us achieve cost savings through our contracts with SaaS suppliers, and those cost benefits have allowed the business to invest in other areas.
