Fast and easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
AR is a really simple process in Sage. It doesn't require a lot of information, yet has the ability to store all the information you want, by attaching outside documents. There is plenty of space to make internal notes and the process is smooth and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The layout of AR is a bit old fashioned even when you are running the new Beta software. It surprises me that it isn't a little more fluid and user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I now have everything in one place, rather than having accounting in one spot and inventory in another. It makes it easy to see the flow of everything.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it, just be patient, it was a pretty steep learning curve even for the software savvy.

User friendly, easy to understand, the dashboards are a great help and running reports is easy

It can get a little visually cluttered at times

Able to process invoices quickly and track payments easily
Intacct Review
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best features on Intacct is the search functions. It is easy to look up vendors, invoices, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't like the check printing function. It was easy but when you make a mistake you have to go through a lot to void and reprint check.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to import spreadsheets makes AP/AR a lot easier.

Ease of use UI with a newer clean UI just implemented. Clear audit trail

The poor speed/reliability of syncs with moderate use of automated import/exports (SF Connectors etc)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clear accounting of all business wide transactions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely a good option due to its capabilities for a small/medium sized company with none to little automation/connectors.

Everything I need for my multi-entity, multi-location business in a easy to understand and use package.

Retroactive application of JEs. There should be "check box" for that rather than automatic.

Comprehensive package at an affordable price.

I'm not that familiar with other options, but chose Intacct because it was the most affordable with all of the features I needed.
Reporting and custom reports are easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Our reports provide in depth details and provide more clarity to the executives on the profit for each department. I like the order entry module for auto generating my monthly invoices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I can not edit certain transactions after they have been posted. I would like to be able to post small adjustments (wire fees) on the payment screen in stead of making and account adjustment everytime. Customizing my invoices and credit template is very difficult. I would like to be able to cancel a payment without voiding it if an error is made in posting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have more clarity from the reporting function for our executives. I have saved a lot of time sending out monthly invoices with the Order Entry module
Intacct is great for multi-location entity accounting
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to toggle between entities easily. The easeness of InterCompany accounting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reports - Rather then building various reports with different formats and filters, it would be more useful to create a report and be able to choose formats and filters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
InterCompany receivables are much easier to record. I has helped us be more efficient.

I love the capacity it holds Unlike others programs.

There seams to be glitches in the system from time to time.

What do you like best about the product?
I think the ease of use with the product. I also like the reporting features. I use the product for running Accounts Payable and Financial related reports. I also feel that posting and adjusting journal entries is a really great process in Intacct. I've used other accounting programs and this is definitely one of the best out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I wish was better is the ease of creating and modifying my existing financial reports. I used FRX in the past and it was very easy for me to create new financial reports. Now I feel there are too many steps to create the reports and wish the process were a little less time consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am providing timely financial reporting for my company and am able to be more hands on. In the past our business had an outsourced accounting function and we didn't have access to the data daily.

What do you like best about the product?
It is user friendly and intuitive while allowing for good controls and separation of duties.
What do you dislike about the product?
The standard set of reports could be improved. I have learned to build my own reports but it takes a little bit of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We moved from Quickbooks and have been able to improve separation of duties within our department.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When I researched this it was very similar to Netsuite with way less costs. I am pleased that we switched to this product.
