What do you like best about the product?
I love the dimensions and the power of the non-linear chart of accounts. As a CPA I find reporting simple and controls set at source so reconciliations are much faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. Maybe some inconsistent logic in setup. But that is very minor
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We buy and sell hardware. The customization workflow has been a game changer for us. I has reduced our order procurement management work by over 60%

Sage Intacct is a paradigm shift for most accountants that are used to linear chart of accounts
A Whole New World
What do you like best about the product?
The streamlined processes are really helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything is an add on. It would be great if there were more out of the box options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multi currency and consolidation processes. The closing process doesn’t have to last weeks!
Informational and valuable
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoyed the session and the speaker on "Transforming in a Volatile World. He had important and relative information regarding technology and where CFO responsibilities should exist

The first would be the changing of the rooms. I was going on what the brochure stated and should have been looking online, I guess.

Reporting for me in particular.

The sessions are usually very helpful. It's also great to see new partner vendors and what they have to offer.

I wish all sessions had the slides to download for later references

Making it closer to a paperless department

Sage Intacct invests in keeping up with technology and making sure the product is relevant.

There are still some functions that aren't quite as user friendly as the overall system; bank reconciliations are challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Access to the system from anywhere without having to remote into a server. Making clients happy with cloud based accounting.

User interface, ease of use, integration with 3rd party apps, report writer and dashboard

Nothing yet, system has been easy to implement and users have adapted to new system

Electronic billing and vendor payments, enhanced reporting, integration with Concur for expense and invoice processing

The roadmap presentation, the interaction with other customers

Nothing - this is one of the best conferences I have attended
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing ease to access and timely financial reporting across the organization. So far, it has greatly reduced the amount of time spent on reporting and have allowed us to look at our data differently prompting new questions about the organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Evaluate how you need to provide real time financial information / key metrics to your organization. Also how much time your finance team is spending on rote non value add processes.
Best accounting system a money can buy
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to customize application to your needs, dashboards, power of cloud computing, role based security. Customer support is also very good. Product improvement every quarter is also very impressive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. I do like everything in Intacct.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We moved almost every application to Sage Intacct platform (HRIS, Student Recruitment, Performance Evaluations, etc).

What do you like best about the product?
The hands on sessions are great. Also great to hear about the way technology is going to/is playing a role in the software and what it could mean for our roles/industry (Using AI to create “smart” software!).
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to book a room at the same hotel as the conference. Shuttle service was not on a schedule so wait time was anywhere b/n 5-30 minutes)
Also some of the general sessions were ok for first timers but too broad for anyone that’s been using the system for more than a few months. Not much gained from attending some of these.

Reporting. Dashboards are great and a massive improvement on the excel files we used to use to create financial packages.

Use the training videos and make use of online community to troubleshoot.
