Best in-depth tool for automated testing!

  • May 13, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the intuitive design of the AMP tool. It makes it easy to use and train others. Additionally, the in-depth testing is probably the most thorough I have seen in terms of automated testing tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not too fond of the confusing way it is related to the WCAG 2.0 paths. I know you can find each of the AMP testing criteria under each WCAG 2.0 level. However, it appears that some of the AMP testing criteria duplicate under multiple WCAG 2.0 levels, which causes confusion as we are trying to fix the issues to improve the AMP score.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving section 508 violations with land management apps for the Forest Service. Through the use of AMP, we have been able to identify training for gaps of knowledge within our team, organize testing work, and document testing results.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Learn the WCAG 2.0 standards and then take the DHS trusted tester training. From there, how to use AMP first then plan your testing organization by all elements present on the page, not just the whole page. This way, you'll be able to reduce redundancies by testing certain elements once and then testing by page only when you need to.

    Hospital & Health Care

Achieve your compliance goals!

  • November 22, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is an excellent cloud based platform to provide digital accessibility compliance for any products or services. The best thing about “Essential Accessibility” is its reliability over any other plug ins or open source tools that do not provide the 100% accessibility goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a very powerful platform but still needs to be in buzz so that more and more companies are aware of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to solve all the potential accessibility issues that can be a hurdle in achieving compliance goals for hospital & healthcare website. The best part are the reliable results.

Outstanding

  • November 16, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Probably the support. If I had any questions their team would answer quickly, and even provide examples on how to code the content properly. I learned a lot. They were very good at organizing the entire process making my job much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of. The whole process was very easy to use once you got the hang of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Menu Structures, buttons, select forms. We had a lot of fancy looking forms and buttons and I had never once thought of accessibility. It was cool to learn that going back to the very basics (simple buttons, form inputs etc.) made sites more accessible.

Easy to work with, Maintain compliance, Quick Turnaround

  • November 13, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The team at Level Access are extremely down-to-earth and understand the business dynamics, needs and strategies. Even with urgent situations or simple quick test, the team is easy to work with meeting deadlines, answering questions about changes in regulations or how they can meet the needs of the business. We have been able to achieve and maintain compliance with the help of the Level Access team and with the automated scans on the site - as it is easy to review site metrics and apply the recommendations to our site. When we do work with the team on a project the turn around time is relatively quick, and we are able to meet deadlines.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of our biggest challenges is articulating to our developers compliance standards - however, over the past few years this has evolved as we worked with Level Access and it has improved in the way the reporting is displayed and conveyed for a developer. An example is the reporting has improved tremendously on the dashboard and an entire report can be viewed or downloaded - We really improvement and appreciate the granularity in reporting and metrics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We dont have any at this time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When overviewing other vendors, ensure they have a team of people who have the expertise in all areas, including training, coding, up-to date accessibility versioning, manual and automated testing and developing organizational policies.

The Swiss Army Knife of Accessibility Tools

  • November 11, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
AMP is a very robust tool with an extensive toolbox of information covering all global accessibility guidelines set by W3C and other international laws. There isn't a single rule that's missing from the tool, and Level Access makes it easy for you to consult the tool for any knowledge you need. It's also incredibly easy to run tests, and the Level Access support team is responsive, attentive, and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only caveat I have is exporting the reports. Unfortunately the downloaded reports aren't always the most organized, and I have to do some manual work to put them together to distribute to developers and engineers. Would be a lot easier to do so if they improved this functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a portfolio of B2C sites that we need to ensure are compliant with WCAG 2.1 standards. AMP allows us to scan what we need, when we need, and in a quick window of time.

The AMP platform was essential in achieving our WCAG compliance across multiple platforms. The coordination of requirements, viloation s and suggested corrections allowed the development team to make corrections and get the VPAT issued
What do you dislike about the product?
It took time to understand the recommended changes, but with nay new porject , it takes time to get a rhythm with any partner during a project. Once
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to provide VPATs on platform with confidence. Additionally, we have brought focus to coding for ADA compliance as a part of everyday life.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The AMP platform and the Level Access team provide excellent service and will guide you in the process of making changes to your site and providing VPAT for prrof of effort.

Great application and team - keeping us focused on what's important!

  • September 14, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Working with Level Access gives us both the overall evaluation and the consistent check points we need to continue to apply tactics that build better experiences for all. The team and the tools provide my internal team with the expertise necessary for them to grow, for our code to become cleaner and for our work to be at the level of quality we expect when we say we are a customer obsessed company.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that we have yet to crack the testing of our experiences in lower environments as of yet, but not a Level Access issue. This is something we will rectify and something I am sure will make this tool more powerful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are working with Level Access to make sure our sites are living up to the expectations of all our consumers. Providing experiences that meet and exceed ADA compliance recommendations is something we are invested in and Level Access has provided us with valuable data and direction to help us follow through on our commitments.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The Level Access team is amazing to work with -- they are flexible to your needs, direct in their feedback and they have uncovered some opportunities that we would have missed otherwise.
