Hired Level access for an app audit and vpat
What do you like best about the product?
I like the self-paced access to university learning materials. They are easy to use and easy to understand which courses are relevant to your particular specialty.
What do you dislike about the product?
The salesy-ness of the initial pitch and the somewhat dubious pricing. I also, find some of the training materials to be out of date with thefocus still primarily focusing on WCAG 2.1.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a designer, I haven't used AMP. Most of my training focuses on color contrast, font sizes, and the necessary interaction states needed for accessibility.

The level of information that's provided for accessibility violations that are found.
What do you dislike about the product?
Speed, it's pretty slow, layout could be improved.

Highlighting accessibility concerns across our websites and leading developers to make necessary changes. Realized improvements in "right first time" implementations.
Our goto toolbox for Accessibility Compliance
What do you like best about the product?
It's a great tool. I really like that this tool lists all the violations in a very specific way with tips on how to go about mitigating them as well as giving you insight into why the general principle is essential and how severe it really is.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface could use a little bit of an upgrade to make it more user friendly, but once you get used to it, it works well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use AMP to proof our programming work to make sure it meets WCAG 2.0 AA Compliance levels. The benefit is that it makes it a really easy process to perform and share with our programmers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This tool gives you actionable, acountable insight to mitigating accessibility issues that free tools do not. We use a variety of tools to keep up with accessibility and this has been our best-in-class option for several years.
Great A11y products
What do you like best about the product?
Color Picker is a great tool. Direct linking to existing JIRA projects was also a plus
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, in order to use the AMP automation cloud tool, there was a problem with our Azure Applications - the Inbound security rules were being controlled by the AKS cluster Application Gateway, which we were unable to change, so we could not perform testing on Azure Applications in our CD/CD pipeline
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Very helpful for verifying pages were in WCAG compliance
Great accessibility management software
What do you like best about the product?
Easy Management of reports and sharing within the organization
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features in automated testing have not been completely implemented yet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy management and creation of reports along with easier testing using amp assistant
My experience has been great overall, very professional and courteous.
What do you like best about the product?
They really know their stuff, and you can ask them anything along the way for clarification or help.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had some inconsistent test results which amounted to using different testers and checklists or something.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are helping those that couldn't use our web application before.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
They are great and super knowledgable, just reach out to them if you have questions along the way.
Our training was a while ago, but here's what I can remember
What do you like best about the product?
The trainer was engaging and pleasant to interact with. I think her name may have been Sheila? OK, Kayla, maybe,
What do you dislike about the product?
Well, this is not Level Access' fault, but between the first and second training sessions, the trainer's mother passed away. And it seemed there was a scramble on the Level Access end of things to find someone to pick up the slack. The second class happened when it was supposed to, but the guy didn't really seem prepared, and it was only a Q&A. I think there was a vague promise to have a proper second class, and that never materialized. A better option would have been to reschedule the second class, giving more time for Level Access to find a fully prepared replacement trainer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm not solving any problems with AMP, as I'm a technical writer. I don't do any development or testing. Having had the training, though, and since we do have Alt text involved in some aspects of our software, I actually make a point of saying "Alt text is technically optional, but please do provide it." People with impairments like porn, too!
An incredible accessibility resource
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part of AMP is the Access Assistant extension for Chrome. It is a convenient way to check your pages for any accessibility challenges that you missed before handing them off to QA. I like how their results show you exactly where in your code the issue resides and gives you detailed descriptions of the violation. This is the tool that I use the most. I have taken some of their AMP University courses and they are fantastic and thorough. I am hoping to try out their AccessJS analytics code in a future project.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I use Access Assistant almost daily, I often forget about the other resources they provide on their site, which is a shame because they are very useful. There is not much else to complain about their website. Their tools are visually spartan compared to some other tools like WAVE, but quick succinct feedback more important than visual design.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Level Access AMP to stay up to date on Accessibility standards for web applications and check that our constantly changing websites remain accessible to everyone.
Great for check accessibility compliance
What do you like best about the product?
I like having the ability to check particular portions of our site individually. Particularly ARIA rules. I liked being able to run as many reports as you wanted.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found it somewhat confusing at times to figure out what the actual issue was with my sites. Most errors or issues were very straightforward, but some required deep digging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Level Access AMP is helping us solve problems with accessibility compliance. The benefit we have realized is we're more in keeping with accessibility standards.
Level access really knows what they are doing
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the way their teams come together to help. We have been fortunate enough to get prompt replies to all our questions and they helped us reach our target of getting the website fully accessible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mainly the price. If they can provide or build a plan for a smaller website, it would be a great help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Level Access helped us to make our website accessible even though the code was old. Their prompt suggestion helped us to achieve what we set out to do.
