Air Excels at Image Management and Organization, But Needs a Mobile App

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I searched across the internet and tried dozens of platforms looking for an image management program that would easily allow us to search, tag, sort and filter images. Air checked all the boxes and then some, truly changing my workflow and process. It's incredibly easy to get started, use, and collaborate on. One of my favorite features is creating upload links that can be shared. I've converted multiple companies to use Air for their asset management and will continue to share my support of this program!
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest complaint is that Air does not have a mobile app. It's the number one thing my team wishes for, especially as a company that uses Air to download images to post on social media via mobile device.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to sort and search assets outside of rigid folders, unlike SharePoint. This gives me the ability to organize folders by photoshoot, but still be able to find all photos that contain certain elements regardless of what folder they're in.

Convenient Mac Access, But Annoying Notifications and Limited Web Features

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I do like that I am able to access it from Finder on my Mac and can download files to use in projects from my computer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that I receive notifications from the desktop app every time I want to delete a file. I also don't like how the web app doesn't allow me to make a range on the timeline when applying a comment. I also don't like how the share links work, it feels not fully fleshed out. And the sub-board thing feels like an attempt to try and be different from folders but in the end it is just folders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asset management and reviewing video content across teams.

I absolutely love Air!

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a creative, I really value the attention given to the overall design and atmosphere. The interface is very intuitive, making it simple to use. Searching and finding assets is genuinely enjoyable.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, the app struggles to sync properly, which can be particularly frustrating when I'm working on urgent projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing and sharing creative assets with clients has become much more convenient. I appreciate how it allows me to sync all my assets effortlessly, without the need to upload them each time. Additionally, sharing with clients is straightforward since they don't need to create accounts, which streamlines the whole process.

Enhanced Visual Assets Management, High Cost a Concern

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Air for a few years now for our design team to manage our assets and photography. I appreciate its visual-forward content management capabilities, especially as an alternative to Google Drive, which isn't media-friendly. The ease of accessing and viewing design assets and photographs is significantly enhanced with Air's visually appealing interface. One of the standout features is its robust search functionality, which allows me to quickly and efficiently find specific photography, such as searching for all images containing a phone. This feature helps immensely when matching photography to specific web page requirements. Additionally, the tagging feature is particularly useful for organizing and locating assets quickly. I found the setup process straightforward, which is always a plus when integrating new software into an existing workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do think there needs to be continued improvements on the preview images as they don't work half the time, and they're not customizable. So that's a downfall for me. And the price is pretty steep. So, that would also be a concern.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Air to view our photography visually, allowing quicker searches and better asset organization for design projects.

Customizable and Intuitive, with Promising Growth Ahead

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Air lays out files in a way that makes sense for a creative agency. They have a lot of very customizable features to fit the exact needs of our team. The layout makes ease of use a given, and makes for easy training for the wider team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not necessarily a downside long-term, but because they are relatively new to the scene, they are still rolling out many key features. However this will only get better as time goes on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a massive amount of storage across many clients, and never had a good way to search for the best and most up-to-date assets. Air makes it simple and intuitive to find exactly what we need without stress.

A Must-Have for Visual Asset Management, Even If Tagging Takes Effort

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Air is a visual database that's as organized as you'd like it to be. Or even more organized, probably. It's a huge step up from just Dropbox or Google Drive, even for the version stacking capability alone, and lossless file storage.

It's like frame.io for photography (and video, and graphics.) I think it's a must-have investment for any brand that has an extensive photo, video, and graphic library. It's the difference between just delivering a gallery and maintaining a proper DAM.
What do you dislike about the product?
I usually don't take the time to tag properly. But I think that's on me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Air keeps our clients' deliverables organized and easily searchable.

I appreciate the visual workspace and how easy it is to search for what I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using it can feel a lot like navigating Google Drive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making sure that our assets are stored in one plalce.

Air: Intuitive, Powerful DAM with Room for More Branding Customization

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's incredibly user friendly, intuitive, and highly organizational. It's been the best DAM I've ever used, and the smart functionality of searching for an image/video is incredible. The use of tagging images/videos is perfect for a quick search, and I will forever recommend Air.
What do you dislike about the product?
IF I had to choose a 'negative', it would be lack of customization for brand. I want to make the background blue, or add different header pics (which is now a thing), etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization for internal and external teams; asset management; frees up space in our Google Drive.

Great Product for the Price

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
For the price point, I think it's a really good DAM platform, it was easy for our team to implement (we were using SharePoint previously). The customer service has been great when I had a question or needed help.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I have to check to make sure all the files have been recently synced and force resync them to keep Air up to date on my computer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to use SharePoint which was clunky and annoying, switching to Air has helped organize our files as we've built out libraries for all of our assets.
