    Arts and Crafts

Perfect for Generative AI Art business

  • October 04, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My business requires quick and easy access to a wide variety of visual style using a style library that I have developed. This solution is the only affordable option I found to quickly fort and organize by visual information, not text. The user interface is intuitive and easy to use and fantastic when I need to organize information by visual elements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the sharing and collaboration features seem to have some bugs that needs to be worked out. For instance, when I moved an item from one folder to another, all text comments I used to annotate the image were deleted, and I was not warned that this would happen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I'm generating AI art, I am referencing a style library that contains thousands of images. Air saves me an enormous amount of time by giving me a platform designed around interacting with images. Instead of using folder structures that were designed for organizing text documents, I can quickly and easily scan through the images in my files when making something new.

    Online Media

Very useful tool though does not read or incorporate IPTC keywording from Lightroom for search

What do you like best about the product?
I'm a social media manager and need to locate images featuring various topics from our company archive of 10+ years of images nearly every day. I hadn't heard of Air when I started here but I've gotten the hang of it and it is indeed a useful program, though I've not compared it to anything that might be similar in what it's attempting to provide...

It IS much better than storing and searching for photos in the google drive archive (or dropbox for that matter). The ability to tag photos with multiple relevant words means that you don't have to put everything you want to search for in the filenames of images. The program ID's and tags generic image features such as whether or not there are multiple people, individuals, woman, etc in a photo so you could utilize this to quickly sort and find what you need from large batches of images with similar topics. There are more auto-identification features than we need in some areas, and other areas that would be useful for me are of course not built in due to the sophistication that would be required (ID'ing plants, tree species), but it's got some pretty impressive abilities that I notice now and then.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it frustrating that there is no option to automatically include tags that are embedded in image file metadata by photographers who often batch-add relevant tags to images in Adobe Lightroom or Bridge or other programs before exporting images. I made this suggestion to a rep from the company and it sounded like something they would look into, but I haven't heard back. As a photographer, adding tags in Adobe programs would be simpler and faster for me and I can't imagine I'm the only one who would prefer this to be a possibility.

It can be a little slow. Sometimes when I search for a word or tag the screen jumps to the last batch of photos I uploaded-- often staying on it for ust a few seconds before switching to the search results, but also sometimes so long that I decide I need to reload or re-search the term, which is irritating.

The price jump from free to 85$/month leaves something to be desired. Surely there are many users who need more than the 5 GB of storage space but don't need 250 boards or 5 users. Perhaps you have to request a custom pricing plan... I am new and haven't looked into it but I may well request a pricing offer that better suits our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storage of archive of photos and searching for images to use in quick paced social media need context

Switched to Air as a better platform to organize creatives than Google or other platforms

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is very elegant, easy to use, laid out very well. Great customer support. We use it for organizing all of our creatives and find it seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are features that are not obvious, but are very useful. If you don't know to ask or look for the answers it is very easy to miss these great, important features, that are not intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping creatives organized. Great plaform to do that.

What do you like best about the product?
We’ve been experimenting with the best way to collaborate with volunteers and provide them with the images and designs they need, and Air has been a great way to do this! The photo upload forms have also been a huge help in getting images from volunteers!
What do you dislike about the product?
I've been using Air for a few months now and haven't found any downsides!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Air has helped us become better at collaborating with volunteers!

Has changed the game for us!

What do you like best about the product?
How user friendly the interface is, and how I can easily collaborate with outside designers/videographers to collect assets and share feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are downtimes due to the size of the company but that happens and they are always proactive in reaching out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborating with outside designers/videographers, organizing all our assets.

An exceptional photo management interface!

  • September 27, 2023

What do you like best about the product?
I really love the AI-driven technology that helps me find photos super fast! I especially love the AI-tagging feature, which makes keyword-based searches find photos with ease (and little digging!) Since being onboarded with the platform, it has been very intuitive to use and has made training new employees easier than ever. Everyone on the team has picked up Air very quickly and implemented it into their workflows. It is used by all internal members of our company and makes collaboration better than ever. I am on the platform every day, and I’ve never used a better photo management interface than Air.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not discovered any limitations with Air, despite some of our photos not being picked up on from the AI-driven technology, but that is par for the course with a feature like this. Even when AI can't pick up on a certain keyword, there is a great manual tagging feature that any user can use to make finding the photo easier next time around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Air allows us to store all of our digital assets in one place - from product photography, to lifestyle imagery, brand assets, and even marketing collateral. It allows us to keep track of everything in one interface, rather than jumping from folder to folder all over the place. Everyone on the team knows where to look in Air, and with the organization tools, everyone has their own workspace and knows where all assets live.

Useful but finicky tool

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Air allows us to collaborate easily with our digital agency that is located in a different state. We are able to stay on track with action items even when we are all in different places, on different schedules and travelling.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only issues with Air is how buggy it can be at times. Sometimes sharing links leads different team members to different landing pages where commments are sometimes missing, etc. Takes some patience to work through it but other than that, it is a good collaboration tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping our team connected and on track while living in different areas.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Ability to store many different file types. Pricing is good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Image search could be better. Mobile app is clunky and does not perform well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Air assists with storing a wide variety of media assets.

  • September 25, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to share content from Air to other teams and outside teams. Uploads are always clear and easy to then download. I also love the "enable downloads" toggle, which makes it easy for others to save the content.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't LOVE the folders setup. I feel like the folders could be a lot more organized and more personalization settings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us stay organized, keep all content in one place, and share content with others.

I Use Air Like Crazy

  • September 25, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Air is a great way for me to share digital assets with my clients, while maintining control of what they do with it. I can allow comments, simply allow them to view it, or download an asset. There are many more features, but if you are a marketer you NEED this.

As a marketer, I use my Air account pretty much daily. I use it to give my customers a better experience. They can easily send me all of the images they want used in their campaign. The best part is that they can send assets from almost any device.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, they continue making it better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Air makes it so much easier for me to gather and share digital assets.
