What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Picus Security is its ability to simulate real-world cyber threats in a controlled environment, helping us identify and remediate security gaps proactively. The platform is intuitive and provides clear, actionable insights rather than just raw data. Its Attack Simulation and Security Validation capabilities allow us to continuously test the effectiveness of our existing security controls. Picus also keeps pace with the latest threat intelligence, ensuring our defense posture remains relevant. The integrations with SIEM, EDR, and firewalls are seamless and enhance our overall visibility. The reporting features are clear, executive-friendly, and technically detailed. It helps bridge the gap between red and blue teams. Overall, Picus gives us confidence in our security readiness through continuous validation.

One area for improvement in Picus Security is the customization flexibility for certain simulations—some advanced users may find it limiting. The initial setup and integration with complex environments can take time and may require support.

Picus Security helps us continuously validate the effectiveness of our security controls by simulating real-world cyberattacks. This proactive approach closes visibility gaps and ensures that our defensive tools like firewalls, EDRs, and SIEMs are functioning as expected. It also reduces our response time by identifying misconfigurations or underperforming rules before an actual attack occurs. By automating these tests, Picus saves our team valuable time and effort compared to manual red teaming. It provides measurable metrics for security posture, which supports compliance and reporting needs. Overall, it helps us move from reactive to proactive defense, increasing confidence in our cybersecurity readiness.

Picus Security provides an easy-to-use and highly effective platform for simulating real-world cyberattacks in a safe environment.The report feature is very good. As a consultant, it has helped me demonstrate value to clients by improving their security posture proactively.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the platform is feature-rich and reliable, I believe the dashboard could offer a bit more customization in visualizations for different user roles. Additionally, initial setup documentation can be slightly more detailed for complex enterprise environments.

When performing web application attacks in SCV, additional network-level configurations are sometimes required, which can slow down initial setup and testing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Picus Security simplifies Red Team and Blue Team operations by automating attack simulations and continuously validating defenses, enabling both teams to work more efficiently and effectively.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Picus APV maps real attack paths and shows exactly where we need to improve. It's innovative, visual, and impactful, while installation is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if Picus showed the actual executed payloads in APV to give deeper technical insight into each step of the attack path.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Picus helps my clients automate penetration testing, making it easier to continuously identify security gaps and improve defenses without the need for manual effort.
Super Efficient Methodology to Understand Security Posture
What do you like best about the product?
Constantly updating the threat library, adding new threats (zero-day), and providing support during threat implementation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting a trial for all modules. Time to time, it requires a bunch of information while getting the license.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Picus Security helps us identify weaknesses in our security controls by simulating real-world cyberattacks. It shows us whether current tools and configurations can actually detect or stop these threats. This gives us a much clearer view of our security posture in near real-time, which helps us prioritize improvements and be more proactive instead of reactive. Overall, it makes our environment more resilient against evolving threats.

While I found the technical aspects of the service to be successful, I preferred the product side due to its user-friendly application interface, which made management easier

Having to buy each module separately can be inconvenient

I have really taken advantage of Picus Security product to assess my Cyber Security posture and products. Starting from EDR to SIEM, they have helped me better those technologies.

Using Picus requires extensive Know-how and finding such know-how may be challenging.

We have so many cyber security products in our environment but we couldn't have been sure their efficiencies before Picus. Picus helped me to benefit these technologies in a better way.

What I like most about Picus is its integration with security products and its ability to provide tailored remediation suggestions based on the simulated attacks.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Picus provides detection recommendations for CrowdStrike on Windows platforms, it does not provide sufficient guidance in this area for macOS.

Picus helps us detect exposed systems through various attack simulations and enables us to take preventive actions to improve our security posture.
