Attractive one page CRM alternative.
What do you like best about the product?
There are several products that supposedly offer a CRM/group mailbox/ticketing system within the gmail framework. Hiver is the only one that delivers without getting in the way. Hiver only adds the minimum extra elements to the gmail framework to deliver a seamless experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hiver is not cheap. This was the biggest obstacle to getting buy in across the business. Luckily we were using Zendesk which was overpriced and not really fit for purpose. So the pricing was comparable. But someone coming to this solution cold might find the pricing a deal breaker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hiver solves our number one problem of allocating and monitoring workload within teams and across the business.
Great tool for managing agile teams
What do you like best about the product?
The visibility of tasks and the assignment of mails are key to success in many organisations. It is a great tool to see where your team is standing and what kind of workload each individual has to deal with.
The second great advantage is the easy integration in your existing GMail setup. This allows easy switching between shared inboxes and your own. This is simply great in order to keep things separate & keep an overview.

What do you dislike about the product?
Generally there are not many features I dislike. Personally I do not use the bell icon extensively because the left bar keeps all information I usually need. But this is part of personal preference.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem we had was accountability and responsibility for the shared mailbox. We realised that Hiver helped us to improve on both matters. Generally, becuase you create a transparency we didn't have before, and second you have clear responsibilities once mails are assigned.
An Essential Must Have Tool for Gmail (Group Emails)
What do you like best about the product?
Hiver gives high versatility to use group emails and the feature to assign an email to your team member, track resolution/response SLA and automation to assign emails or mark resolved is very helpful. Hiver bridges most of the gaps that Gmail does not offer and it certainly helps my team to focus better and get work done smartly. Hiver is a worthy value addition to our organisation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Automations could be improved allowing more functions on condition based approach. Would be great if there is a provision to customize reports on user level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tasking emails to respective owners in the team.

Instead of every member checking each email in a shared inbox, only those assigned to them needs to be checked and this saved lot of time and productivity bandwidth.

The reporting and analytics which help me to view the day to day progress of the operations
What do you dislike about the product?
The limited option of statuses where we can't modify it based on our business exigencies. I hope Hiver team can come up with the idea of having free text in the status aside from closed, open and pending options.

The parameters that helps us to establish structured KPIs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Having the hiver to manage your multiple group mail or shared mailbox will help you to operate with countless of users to be enrolled. At the same time, this is a great tool to measure the capacity and efficiency of your team. This will eliminate narrative feedback and helps your business review with facts (Figures from the reporting)
A Fantastic Customer Service Experience
What do you like best about the product?
A simplistic, intuitive program that allows you to manage your emails with ease. Organization is key, and HIVER is built to help. As director of customer relations for an e-commerce company, I cannot imagine life without it. More than anything, THEIR lightening fast customer support team is exceptional. Truly. They are extremely knowledgable and friendly and have answered EVERY questions and fixed EVERY problem I had within minutes. 10/10. Thank you Hiver!
What do you dislike about the product?
1. With regards to Template building. There is no spell check. So when you use a template and have an extra space or period, or word is spelt incorrectly, it appears incorrect on your email every time you use it. Easy fix.
2. Tags should have EVEN MORE color variables and when you SELECT one, you should not have to click "DONE". It would be faster and more streamlined to type in your disposition and click on it, itself, and then it would be selected to your particular email.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to keep track of all of my emails with regards to issue and importance and when managing a team of customer service reps, it helps to be extremely organized and to be able to delegate certain emails to certain reps etc. With the TAG section, we have been able to catch issues immediately as well as monitor ongoing issues and potential issues with ease.

What do you like best about the product?
If you use Gmail, you need Hiver for your company. The combined email inbox is the best feature. Creating email templates has also saved valuable time. It is used every day and has been easy to implement in our day to day tasks.

Hiver is fantastic to use and my company has not had any dislikes so far.

Hiver is helping me quickly reach email templates and send out bulk emails throughout the day.

What do you like best about the product?
Hiver has been so great in allowing us to collaborate on emails within the team, we looked for a solution for this for a long time and are glad to have found Hiver!
What do you dislike about the product?
The set-up was time-intensive and ended up with a lot of clean up required to get things to work the way we wanted them to, but I am glad we invested the time upfront, it runs smoother because of it. It's expensive software so it's an investment that will hopefully be worth it as we continue to grow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a lot of emails that come in, and many of them require more than one person to review/respond. Instead of having to go outside of emails for quick questions within the team, we can easily tag with a quick question.
It's also great to be able to assign a thread to a team member and have any future emails come back to them directly instead of into our general mailbox.

Spend the time getting things set up correctly at the beginning and tagging everything, it will be worth it!

Using Hiver has been life changing!
What do you like best about the product?
Hiver has made it so easy and convenient to organize and keep track of emails. I don't have to worry about missing out on any emails, since they stay in the unassigned folder until you assign it to someone or close it out.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been a few times where we were having technical issues, however the customer service team was always quick to help out and resolve the issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Hiver, if we accidentally read off an email, no one would would know. Hiver has solved that as no emails are read off until you close it. We also solved the issue of knowing who is working on what. We can see the assigned emails in our own folder, as well as the team's folders. It has helped so that multiple people aren't working on the same thing.
