The more I use it, the more you discover how much additional functionality it has to offer.
What do you like best about the product?
It allows you to manage workloads and team members, especially during absences. Allows for monthly reporting of volume and team member completion numbers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning curve if team members are not familiar with google and hiver. Getting customers to send to Hiver email instead of individuals can also create confusion. Once everyone is on board, the process flows nicely.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing workflow and balancing incoming order volume. Gives clear visibility.
Essential Software For Any Team Working On A Project
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and integration with Gmail. Simple to use and at a great price.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like it to work with Apple Mail. This would be useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping the team to easily chat about a project. Saving us loads of time.
Hiver is a great tool to manage a shared inbox!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to leverage Hiver to manage our shared inbox. Hiver is so easy to pick up and implement, and makes a huge difference in cutting down time managing our inbox.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I dislike about Hiver is that the automations occasionally do not work, even though we have set them up properly. While we set up automations based off of key words to be assigned to folks in our inbox, it sometimes does not work properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hiver allows my global team to manage a heavily trafficked inbox. We have employees all over the world reaching out for assistance, and Hiver allows us to easily delegate these emails to specific members on our team.
Instant Usability
What do you like best about the product?
Integration with Gmail means I can view all messages on one platform rather than having to access a different web page or app. Hiver seems to have genuinely built the software around being a user. Training days also add great value and it's good to see Hiver highlighting how their software can be used with other applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. The best software investment we have made. I have suggested the ability to have a live dashboard to highlight key SLAs to can be visualised on a seperate screen but in general very impressed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hiver helps us prevent communications from being lost as we have to frequently reach out to 3rd part suppliers and the email chains can get excessively long. Since using Hiver we have seen a significant decrease in follow-up emails.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For something instantly usable without the need for excessive training or IT knowledge.
Great way to organize a shared inbox!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to organize our team's shared inbox. It has been easy to train our new team members to use and the template feature is a dream! A wonderful way to share an inbox!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would prefer that pending items were not removed from my assigned inbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a shared inbox and Jira was not the right solution for us, this has been a wonderful solution as midway between Jira and email!
Effective email management tool for startups
What do you like best about the product?
The analytics is very helpful especially when creating reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
It eats a lot of memory, sometimes my pc would freeze. It asks me to install Hiver on other email accounts on my pc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reporting, email organization and internal communications
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend it for remote teams especially those with a shared inbox. It's an effective solution that's easy to use and the learning curve for the whole team was very minimal. We also did a training with the Hiver team to make sure we're up to speed.
Great functionality, some bugs, useful reporting
What do you like best about the product?
Analytics/reporting feature. Ability to assign emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
The drafting feature can be a little buggy.

they've been very responsive to any questions/concerns.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a simple, easy to use tool that doesnt require a lot of training, Hiver is great and checks ff the basics.
Well structured and works nicely with Gmail
What do you like best about the product?
That it is absolutely easy to use and doesn't have unuseful features. Also, it is extremely nicely designed and really looks like it is part of Gmail.
What do you dislike about the product?
Bulk email management does not work nicely, e.g. when I try to assign and close and tag multiple emails at once, they become de-selected after each action. Also it is quite slow sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a travel agency and Hiver makes it very easy to see which email belongs to which trip and so it is much easier to find something later.
Low volume starter shared inbox
What do you like best about the product?
Hiver support is extremely responsive and super helpful. They are thorough and will spend the time to walk you through your problem until they are able to solve it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting is not as robust as I would like it to be. It is good for lower volume and a "starter" shared inbox rather than a longer-term solution. It doesn't pair well with Outlook though and some team members insist on using it with Outlook.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hiver allows us to have a shared inbox which makes it easier for the team to collaborate. Several people can be working in Hiver at the same time instead of one at a time which is great.
Absolute game changer for our team
What do you like best about the product?
The integration of Hiver into Gmail is hands-down the best feature. When searching for a shared inbox I did not want something that would require having yet another tab open. I needed something that would work with the system that my team was already using.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that you aren't able to assign more than one person to an email. There are some items we have that are being addressed by multiple people and I would like the emails to show up in both of their assigned tabs. This is still the biggest downside I have experienced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hiver helps to solve the issue of missed emails - it is very easy for an email to get lost if it is sent to a single team member, but when everyone has access to the emails it holds us all accountable. It also cuts down on the forwarding (then forgetting) of emails. The collaboration aspect is also very beneficial - I like being able to make comments on the emails and chat with my teammates without having to leave the email.
