Effortless Data Sync, but Costly for Small Teams

  • March 20, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple it is to write SQL queries and map them to properties or events in Hightouch. It makes handling databases with hundreds of thousands of rows much easier because I can import only the changes that are needed, which saves time and effort. The integration process is quick, allowing us to ship new integrations fast and securely. Additionally, using custom variables and business logic for segmentation directly from our databases makes the process seamless and consistent. The initial setup was very simple and easy, and I got it done within a day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited use for Free Tier. Unless you are ready to commit over $400/month for just a couple of connections, it's very expensive and the free tier is now very restrictive, only allowing you to run 2 syncs continuously. The recently downgraded the Free Tier use. It used to allow up to 25 syncs monthly from basic tools like Google Sheets, but now it limits you to run a maximum of 2 syncs before having to fully upgrade. At the added monthly costs, it's almost not worth it and would recommend building in-house vs using the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Hightouch to map SQL queries to properties or events, seamlessly syncing data from our warehouse to tools without re-running everything from scratch. It saves complexity by allowing incremental data changes, and simplifies using custom variables and logic.

Effortless Data Syncing with Outstanding Support (shoutout to Tyler Knight)

  • March 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the customer support for Hightouch, especially when it comes to getting data from point A to point B. Talonight was particularly helpful for figuring out APIs, documentation, and what it takes to transfer information from one source to another. The human support via Slack is super responsive and prompt, which has meant a lot to me and my team. I also enjoy the customization features and the ability to allow access controls, role-level security, and other elements, so that Hightouch works effectively for me. The initial setup was ready to go from day one, and in terms of the setup and implementation, it was as simple as I can remember. The customer support has been world-class, with responsiveness and letting me know when something has a solution, along with providing different options and only closing the ticket when I confirm everything is good to go. Shout out to Tyler Knight, my customer success engineer; I appreciate working with you.
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing comes to mind ATM
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Hightouch to sync terabytes of data from warehouses to marketing platforms, enabling automatic updates for email, push, and text notifications for enterprise marketing initiatives.

Empowers AI Decisioning with Near Real-Time Data

  • March 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Hightouch's combination of great support and a fast-evolving product. The team is very responsive and hands-on during implementations and experiments. The platform keeps shipping meaningful features, especially around AI Decisioning. On the support side, the team is very close to us, reviewing queries, debugging performance issues, and suggesting best practices. They are also very quick and effective in answering our questions. The AI Decisioning capabilities were powerful enough to increase new account activations by around 30%.
What do you dislike about the product?
Performance on very large queries can be a bit of a pain. For heavy workloads, like hundreds of millions of rows, we sometimes see long runtimes, and it requires collaborative tuning with our data team. It would be helpful to have built-in query optimization patterns and proactive hints in the UI. Also, for runs that exceed a certain duration, a more detailed breakdown of which step or subquery dominated the time would be beneficial. The initial setup was also a bit challenging, especially with the first connection to our Databricks warehouse. Getting the right permissions and access roles for Hightouch to read necessary schemas and tables was the most complex part.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hightouch solved our timeliness issue, allowing near real-time data syncing with marketing platforms, keeping audiences updated. The AI Decisioning feature increased new account activations by around 30%, supported by great, responsive assistance from the team during implementations and experiments.

Empowers Our Datalake with Seamless Data Activation

  • March 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Hightouch as my main data collection and CDP platform, and I love how it serves as a powerful connector for activating data to Meta, Google, Adobe, and other vendors. I appreciate that it brings customer data directly into my datalake in Databricks in real time, which avoids the creation of data silos and allows me to activate that data easily; it's like giving superpowers to my datalake. The platform complies well with cybersecurity requirements, which is critical for Financial Services, and supports IP whitelisting, private link for data connections, and access management through SSO with SCIM provisioning. I find it easy to use, and I'm happy with how the pricing scales, so it doesn't become a huge cost issue. Additionally, I enjoy that the team is very open to suggestions and feature requests.
What do you dislike about the product?
They are still growing their destination connectors, so sometimes I miss them. Also, directly connecting incoming events to a destination is possible but could be easier to do. If I want to connect incoming Hightouch events to a destination (say, Meta) I usually have to ingest such events into my datalake, and then do a reverse ETL to bring it to Meta. I would like to have a native way to bring events directly into Meta, skipping the delay of ingesting them to the datalake before doing a rETL. Easy in general, but it was a bit painful to set up private links with our Azure environment. It looks like AWS support is easier than Azure to be done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hightouch integrates customer data into my Databricks datalake, preventing data silos. It activates data across tools in a low-code environment, leveraging first-party data efficiently. It meets our cybersecurity needs and enhances datalake capabilities for real-time data flow.

Personalized Multichannel Campaigns Based on In-Product Behavior

  • February 10, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Hightouch made it very easy for me to send targeted, multichannel marketing campaigns based on customer/user in-product behavior.
What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints. I was not involved in the technical setup between our data warehouse and our CRM+Marketing Automation Platforms, so I can't speak to the set-up and integration work required. But the data in our CRM/MAP was accurate and up-to-date across a large userbase.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's challenging to launch relevant, personalized marketing campaigns based on user behavior. As a marketing leader at a software company with a PLG motion, the ability to easily deploy personalized campaigns is mission-critical to hitting revenue goals. Hightouch made user data visible, actionable, and trustworthy, allowing me (and the team) to create and deploy effective campaigns with ease.

Developer-friendly onboarding with clear modules, SDK guidance, and sample code

  • January 22, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Hightouch is that..
- The tool is actually easy to understand and work with, even if you are new to this kind of setup.
- The overall flow feels simple and not overcomplicated.
- Each integration is clearly separated into modules, and every module explains step by step what needs to be done in a seperate "Setup" field.
- This makes the onboarding much smoother compared to some other tools.
- Another good thing is that Hightouch clearly mentions which SDK needs to be used, it's link and how exactly it should be integrated into the code.
- The presence of sample code really helps, especially when you want to quickly test or validate the integration.
- You don’t need to guess much or search outside for examples.
- Also, showing the writer key and API key directly in the UI is very helpful, since these are the main things needed while integrating.

Overall, it feels developer friendly and straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I don’t really like about Hightouch is..
- The limitation on event visibility.
- Only the latest 100 events are shown for each event source, which can be restrictive in many cases.
- Most of the time, when debugging or analyzing data issues, we want to look at older or historical events to understand patterns or failures.
- Because of this restriction, it becomes difficult to trace issues that happened earlier.
- If the event you’re looking for is not part of the last 100, then you don’t really have visibility inside the tool itself.

This makes troubleshooting a bit harder and sometimes forces you to rely on other systems or logs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Hightouch mainly solves the problem of complexity and usability that exists in many similar tools.
- Compared to other platforms I’ve used, Hightouch feels much easier to learn and operate.
- You don’t need to spend a lot of time just understanding the basics before getting real work done.
- This benefits me by saving time during setup and integration.
- Since the steps are clearly mentioned and sample code is available, integrations can be completed faster with fewer mistakes.

Overall, it reduces the learning curve and makes data-related workflows easier to manage.

Beware: Abrupt Policy Changes and No Data Access after changes

  • November 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It was an easy to use and simple tool for making our datalake accessible to business teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
After having used Hightouch for more than 2 years, they decided to completely change the conditions of us making it unaffordable, all within 2 months. And they did not communicate properly about the changes making our account completely unaccessible, and leaving us with no way to migrate our data. I would not trust them again with any of my data or any business sensitive process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Powerful reverse ETL for marketing and customer data activation

  • September 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Hightouch makes it easy to activate data directly from Snowflake into tools like Braze, Iterable, and HubSpot without custom pipelines. I can build audiences and sync attributes in a no-code way, while still having the flexibility to use SQL for complex models. It’s reliable, transparent, and helps us move faster by bridging data warehouse and marketing tools without requiring heavy engineering support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some sync jobs can take longer than expected depending on volume, and scheduling options aren’t always as granular as I’d like. While the integrations are strong, advanced transformations sometimes still require workarounds. Pricing can also be steep for organizations with large contact volumes, so cost management needs to be considered early.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hightouch solves the challenge of activating warehouse data into marketing and sales tools without building custom pipelines. It allows us to sync customer attributes and audiences from Snowflake directly into Braze, Iterable, and HubSpot, ensuring teams work with consistent and up-to-date data. This reduces manual CSV uploads, saves engineering resources, and enables faster campaign execution. By bridging analytics and engagement platforms, it helps us deliver more personalized, timely messaging and ultimately drive better results for our clients.

Overall recommend

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Hightouch makes it incredibly easy to activate data from our warehouse and sync it to downstream tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, and Facebook Ads without needing to build custom pipelines. The UI is intuitive, and the integration setup is fast — we were able to get value within hours. The support team is also very responsive and knowledgeable, and features like audience segmentation and sync scheduling are robust and reliable. It really empowers our marketing and sales teams to act on real-time data without engineering bottlenecks.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Hightouch covers most of our needs, the pricing can scale quickly as data volume and destinations increase, which might be a concern for smaller teams. Additionally, although the UI is user-friendly, some advanced logic or transformations still require SQL knowledge — which can be a barrier for non-technical users unless they're trained. More built-in templates or drag-and-drop tools for transformations would be a nice improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

HightTouch really came through for us. It was a breeze to set up and the support team was fantastic.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to integrate with our data stack and how responsive the support team is when it comes to issues and blockers.
What do you dislike about the product?
We initially used HT to automate invoice generation with Quickbooks, but stopped due to lack of safeguards to reduce user errors. This isn’t an issue with HT, but with Quickbooks. When we integrated it with our platforms’ database, errors appeared, and these errors stemmed from the MySQL database, not HT.I’m not sure how HT can enhance safeguards in this scenario, but I thought I’d mention it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We’re syncing our legacy library with our new platforms library since all new content is currently generated in the legacy library.
