ZoomInfo is a critical partner for lead generation and data append

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom provides a platform for building targeted lists, conducting data appends and verification, and delivering up-to-date direct dial information. They have a self-service product that allows users to pull data on their own, as well as sends out alerts letting you know when new names are available in your target market.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is our suppression file is too large to be uploaded into their platform, but we work with their services team and account reps to conduct list builds and manage credit usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data appends, updated direct dials for our target audiences to increase connect rates for our business development reps. We're reaching decision makers 4X faster with refreshed phone numbers.

My success with Zoominfo

What do you like best about the product?
Zoominfo is an indispensable tool in my day to day activities. From looking up direct phone numbers of leads, to quickly getting a ball park revenue figure on a company. I would be lost with Zoominfo. The thing I probably like most is their search tool. I use this tons of times in a single day.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing I probably dislike the most is how often phone numbers are wrong. Their job title and email data are usually correct, but the phone number information is usually wrong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've grown the active list of my verticals with the help of Zoominfo and I've been able to move my prospecting up market as a result of the information Zoominfo provides me.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend this product to anyone doing Business Development related tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to put in my list parameters and search based on title/department. It makes it easy to target the positions we are looking for. I like that we can scroll over the contact info to determine email and phone numbers without having to download the data to see the content, very useful for sales reps when searching a contact.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the add to list feature could be a little more user friendly. When I wanted to manually search through the results and add them to a list before downloading them all, I found it a little cumbersome with the popup menu and often lost my place in the search results when I returned to the screen. I found myself opening up multiple tabs to search the company and find the contacts I needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using the information for our sales team to find contact information on prospects as well as for list development for marketing campaigns.

What do you like best about the product?
Direct Dials and Email Address to Targeted Titles
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't see what records members of my team are pulling. Need a dashboard as a manager to be able to see all that

Also, I can't suppress specific keywords in titles that we don't want. Would be really great if there were a feature to suppress certain keywords in searches.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding the right decision makers for our Corporate Training Offering. Able to connect with the right people directly. Saves us time and extends our reach. They are typically very happy to hear from us.

Best tool for direct dials... ever

What do you like best about the product?
I've probably set 200 meetings with the direct dials from Zoominfo. I've never seen another tool with the ability to rapidly and easily run comprehensive searches providing access to accurate direct dials.

If someone has a desk phone, there's an overwhelming chance that their accurate phone number is available in ZoomInfo.

I credit Zoominfo as one of the major factors behind my significant production as an ADR, which ultimately allowed me to win multiple trophies for leading in my role and secure a promotion.
What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints at all. My experience has been overwhelmingly positive. Unfortunately some bad apples had been data scraping and taking advantage of the numbers, so the new UI has some safeguards that prevent this but which unfortunately make the setup a little more clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Wasted time dialing main numbers
- Wasted time dealing with secretaries
- Frustration dealing with secretaries
- Frustration dealing with automated directories
- Wasted time doing data entry (dial right out of UI)
- Inability to access many individuals without the direct dials Zoom provides
- Inability to afford more expensive tools.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Purchase this tool if you want direct dials and the ability to get quality meetings.

Don't purchase this tool if you're afraid to connect with prospects and engage over the phone.

What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo provide the most accurate contact information as compared to it's peers. They have an excellent list building tool, an enhance tool to fill the gaps in our data. We have a large number of ZoomInfo users in our company and they all find it very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing we would like to improve would be the integration with our CRM platform. The data in the integrated platform is limited when compared to the browser version of the tool. But ZoomInfo has always been very responsive and they are looking into this issue for us as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ZoomInfo has helped a lot in filling the gaps in our CRM. Also, we get tons of contact information for campaigning and other purposes.

What do you like best about the product?
The correct detailed contact information for potential clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our cost went up this year considerably due to needing another license and not able to lock in my previous pricing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to penetrate deeper into companies and reach contacts that make decisions on safety training.

I would recommend this product to anyone looking to expand their database and reach out to more potential clients. It also helps you network.

Hard to run a marketing and sales team without ZoomInfo

What do you like best about the product?
We lean heavily on account based marketing and this tool allows us to effectively identify the correct people in an organization. We have several different lines of business that benefit from our products. We have to have insights into our addressable market and the ZoomInfo team is always there to help us build lists based on our requirement.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not of fan of having to purchase different packages for Europe and Asia. A hierarchy chart of an organization would be helpful was an area that was lacking but has been resolved with the new product release. The merger has really completed the solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us validate contacts without requiring them to fill out a ton of fields on our forms. Access to mobile phones and tips help us connect with contacts while they are working at home. This is a critical component of prospecting in today's environment.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't purchase lists!! They are expensive and are not worth the price.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoominfo has a decently active database that is as accurate as this type of service can get, with enough flexibility and agility in terms of search/filter function to make it a very useful tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I dislike that isn't subjective and/or very insignificant
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to focus our prospecting efforts and get in touch with the right people much faster.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You have to use a service like this for a few months before you can determine if the ROI is there - in my case it is definitely worth the small investment.
