Go-to tool for sales prospecting
What do you like best about the product?
The easy connection to all of our sales tools. Discoverorg makes it easy to bring information from all our sales & Prospecting tools into one central solution. This gives us the necessary information to begin the sales process and make sure we are spending our time effectively and efficiently. The List match itself saves you hours of work with a quick copy and paste.
What do you dislike about the product?
Every now and then there are quite a few leads that are outdated. Some information seems like it doesn't update with the company, like emails and phone numbers. Not the biggest pain really.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
filling in gaps of companies that we are prospecting in to. FInding the right people for the right positions to make sure our time hitting the phones is spent effectively. With using DiscoverOrg and being able to structure our days around being effective and hitting the right people, I see more fulfilling conversations.
Another benefit is seeing scoops and news feed articles, giving you vital information on companies and their current situations. They tell you whether or not companies have projects coming, who to talk to, what department. They set you up for the call.

What do you like best about the product?
Fairly up to date intel on company and employee information
Org chart is helpful understanding company hiearchy
Ability to connect with other software tools like salesforce, outreach, etc.

What do you dislike about the product?
Parent/subsidiary list could be better and wish the stats from the subsidiary companies would roll up to the totals of the parent account. Employee size for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding new prospects within potential customers. More efficient than any other tool we have.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how you can export Leads directly from the platform integrated with your CRM. This is super convenient if your are in a cold calling roll.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the leads are old, but Discover Org is consistently updating the database. Also, I dislike the amount of money you need to spend to obtain a subscription. The platform should be more reasonably priced out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have made a TON of money leveraging Discover Org. I am in a sales roll an I use the platform on a daily basis.
Saves the credibility of the sales profession
What do you like best about the product?
Sales has moved into a spray and prey motion. With Discoverorg you can be more targeted and focused in your approach. It makes for a better experience on the sales and prospect side.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few phone numbers haven't works and not all of the scoops are up to date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to find new prospects faster and more accurately.

Evaluate it with a trial, and see if it fits your business needs.

Scoops are relevant and mostly current. Ease of use when searching for technologies

My dislikes mostly revolve around integration into SFDC, but that all has to do with my admin rights (or lack thereof).

Having relevant conversations while prospecting using scoops. Time saver - company info, prospect info, technologies, contact info, and LI profiles all at one place

What do you like best about the product?
Discover Org makes it easy to categorize different types of prospects. Their filtering makes it simpler to specify different campaigns across different industries, regions, and employees.I really enjoy the scoops. They help out a lot in terms of insight into what companies and employees are up to.
What do you dislike about the product?
There has not been much that I have not liked with DiscoverOrg. I use it mainly to pull lists of employees and companies. I also use it to run reports on companies which also help in the prospecting process. I have not used other platforms like DiscoverOrg so this being my first one has set the bar pretty high if I were to ever use another platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are not much problems that I have been dealing with. The benefits I realized are twofold. The scoops are not only helpful in terms of insight into the company, but they are also up to date and relevant to the current time period. I would've expected that maybe some of the information may be off due to how personal some of the pain points may be, but they are very much accurate for the most part.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Implementing this with Salesforce helps out a lot. I don't do it personally, but I have seen people do it to make their lives easier when it comes to prospecting and uploading leads.

What do you like best about the product?
Like the title says, DiscoverOrg is extremely robust. You can search from a wide range of criteria all the way down to funding (and filter it even further by time), technologies used, industries, etc. I think what sets DiscoverOrg apart from their competitors is their "Scoops" section where you're able to set alerts (based on a customized criteria that you make) about certain things that happen with the prospect. Their integration with SFDC is amazingly helpful as well
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say training was a little lacking. I still find it semi-difficult to navigate the platform and understand the relationship between account lists, prospecting lists, scoops list, etc. Natively on discoverorg you're not able to click out directly to Salesforce (you can in the SFDC app, but the app doesn't have all the features/functionality of the native one). Ive been able to make DiscoverOrg work for me, but I feel I'm not using it to it's full capacity because of lack of onboarding/training/how robust it can be

Discoverorg is extremely easy to use. I am able to do research on prospective companies and find key information that allows me to take actionable steps in my sales process. A lot of which I wouldn't be able to do without it.

sometimes the scoop information can be incorrect

Allows me to find the right contacts for companies I am prospecting. It also provides 'scoops' and industry news that are relevant to the solutions my company provides.
