One of the outstanding tools for security analysis
What do you like best about the product?
The best in Trend Micro Vision One (XDR), this tool is helpful for different security complexes for endpoints, email, etc. It helps us to enhance investigations and provide depth visibility and threat prevention.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now, I do not see anything I dislike about the product itself. However, some endpoints are not reporting to the inventory list in XDR. The Support team is a very active and accessible approach.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the best features of Trend Micro Vision One (XDR) is for faster investigation and mitigation of detection that responds based on the security analysis.

What do you like best about the product?
Trend Micro Vision One is a Comprehensive Extended Detection and Response (XDR) platform that enables enterprises to detect and respond to Advanced cyber threats across their entire IT infrastructure. The Platform allows enterprises to swiftly identify and respond to security incidents by providing a unified view of security events and alerts across endpoints, email, servers, cloud workloads, and network devices. One of its primary assets is its ability to interact with a wide range of security solutions, including those from third-party manufacturers. This will allow them to leverage their existing security investments to create a comprehensive security ecosystem that can adapt to changing needs. Vision One also has powerful threat intelligence and machine learning capabilities, allowing it to detect and respond to threats in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost: The platform can be pricey, particularly for small to medium-sized firms with restricted finances.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing security across numerous IT environments can be difficult, especially when coordinating multiple security tools and technologies. Trend Micro Vision One (XDR) streamlines this process by providing a single platform for managing security operations across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. Also, we had issues enabling or installing/uninstalling XDR to endpoints, but in the long run, it helped us learn more experience and how to deal with it with their assistance. This also allows us to deploy it faster.

Sometimes, the information on alerts is inadequate, requiring accessing the web tool to get more details.

Endpoint threat detection while employees are working from home.
Simple set-up with full visibility and extends detection to your network.

What do you dislike about the product?
We have difficulties integrating the XDR into other security appliances/products that we already have.
We tried to block an email in the suspicious object tab, but it didn't work.

Gives us more visibility on endpoints that needs to be updated.
Mature and Reliable XDR Platform That Keeps Improving
What do you like best about the product?
Over time, Vision One has become more cohesive as an XDR platform. The correlation between endpoint, email, and network telemetry feels tighter and investigations are easier to follow compared to earlier versions. The attack path visibility and contextual threat intelligence reduce the amount of manual enrichment during triage. The scheduled sweeps against emerging IOCs are useful for validating exposure without spinning up separate hunts. Overall, it continues to evolve in a practical way that supports day-to-day SOC operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
For more mature SOC teams, deeper customization in detections and more advanced hunting flexibility would be beneficial. Query performance and investigative depth could be improved to better support complex threat hunting scenarios. Reporting is functional, but more customizable executive-level views would help with stakeholder communication. It’s a strong platform, but there’s still room to refine it for organizations with advanced security operations.

Provide a great level of security to our endpoints. Early detection of threats

The consolidation of all security products visible in one console makes threat hunting easy and allows for our engineers to stay focused on the single portal instead of loging into multiple products daily and missing critical events .

It is a bit expensive to get access to all the modules and add-on products we want in the South African market. We have been building on to what we have year on year.

Trend XDR has taken our detection and response to a new level and the products keep evolving .

The correlation of Apex One and Cloud one logs into one dashboard to have full visibility of endpoints and servers. Workbench and Observed attack techniques are very helpful in investigation

Threats and behavior that cannot be seen in a normal antivirus are here and can be investigated
An excellent tool that allows us to gain more security and spread BYOD across our users

Receiving more visibility across all our devices, servers and internet assets. Excellent connectivity and integrations.

The main issue is asking support for uninstallation tokens.
