I don't understand who this product was designed for
What do you like best about the product?
I'm told that it was cheaper than competitors
What do you dislike about the product?
Not very user friendly. For example, as an engineer there was no easy way to see a listing of my upcoming on-call shifts. Instead, I would have to go to the calendar for the rotations I was in and look for the shifts with my name. Overriding schedules due to vacations, etc, was also much more complicated than it should have been.
One of my coworkers speculated that this product was designed for the people who make the schedules, rather than the people who are on-call. However, the person who sets our schedules assured us that using Squadcast was just as miserable for him as it was for us.
My company switched to another product, and everything has been much better since then. Absolutely nobody misses Squadcast.

We stopped using it, so it doesn't benefit us.

Its UI is so simple to manage and interact.
What do you dislike about the product?
The suppression rules and other automations can be improved more to easily see what will be the output of the suppression.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a very useful tool for us and we have been using this tool for the last 2 years without any issues. Their escalation policies structure, and manage all service alerts based on the escalation policy.
What do you dislike about the product?
previously we were not able to attach screenshots in alerts notes but after squad cast update we are able to attach screenshots in notes so nothing to dislike now
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Microservices-based alerts, By using Squadcast we are able so solve the alerts within in short span of time and also do postmortem on them
Does what it needs to do
What do you like best about the product?
Generally easy to setup and administer. Mostly a set and forget kind of thing. Price is competitive vs some of the incumbents.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are new features and improvements coming out reguarly, but it's not always clear if they align to our business. AEs / Support could be more proactive in evangelizing these features with existing customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Call tree / alerting when there's production incident.
Squadcast is Awesome
What do you like best about the product?
It helps to see my schedule as to when I will be on call really easy. It can change by month and week and is easy to update. It also will forward all emails that will come in for tickets straight to my email. It is effortless to setup and use. Your techs will love it to be able to see and plan everything around the schedule.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not notice any downsides yet and I have been using it for years.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
On call scheduling is being solved. It benefits us because now no one is not aware of when they are on call and when they are not. No conflicts arise as to who is in charge for the week.
Easy to use and extremely efficient!
What do you like best about the product?
Squadcast streamlines our teams communication and colloboration on business critical issues. It has been instrumental in our incident management while reducing support response times which leads to greater customer satisfaction.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love more options for recording capabilities with the tool. The pricing can also be a bit much for leaner teams at new start ups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It notifies key team members about business critical issues both inside and outside of operating hours wherever they may be and in the manner in which they wish to be communicated with. This is a huge help as we are a global remote team with a global customer base and our working hours may not always be our clients. However, with squadcast we know when to tune in and add more resources to resolve an issue.

Squadcast offers may features, is highly customizable and easy to use.

The user interface can be a little overwhelming at first.

Squadcast helps us to easily customize our incident notification levels and our on-call scheduling.
Great software when you need it most
What do you like best about the product?
Alerting works perfect. Sadly had to wake up a few times because of it, but in the end it was extremely hepful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Schedules could be improved. Its not always clear when my shift is.

I think Squadcast is the perfect choice for incident management, I didn't see any weakness in their service.

What do you like best about the product?
As an on-call engineer I used Squadcast for incident response. I enjoyed the easy setup on my own devices and easy integration with monitoring tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
The app feels a bit out of date. It is also hard to swap schedules with other engineers
