What do you like best about the product?
I've been using the squad cast for the last year, and the best part is that you can easily integrate this with other monitoring tools. If you are on the shift, it will send you the reminder and alert notifications, So if you are busy with other tasks, you will receive the call for your alert and take action accordingly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Recently squadcast introduced a new schedule where we can creates the schedule as per the roster, but, we can not give shift time as per our need, if we can select time as per our need that can be easier, and also if we can directly upload the roster in CSV format.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a part of Devops SRE team, we have to monitor the infra and running services actively, Which is not possible to see the monitor screen all the time, And using the squadcast, which give alert notification, sms, and call if you did not acknowledge the alert. You can set the escalation policy for critical alerts, which is the best part.

The ability to handle alerts over phone call is the best one for me, also with the clarity of issue occured
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app experience is not as good as it can be. Tye call alerts are sometimes blank calls with no notification.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we instantly get to know if anything is in alert state, thus achieveing the sla we provide
Good solution for alerting.
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to send alerts to multiple places is a good thing. Also, I can do tagging routing which is a great feature. Support service is also great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of now to complain about. Hope this remains the same in the future too.

Dynamic Tagging of alerts and routing them to a different teams and sources based on the tag.

What do you dislike about the product?
Voice calls do not work with all telecoms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alerts wakes my team up at any time. We get push notifications, text messages and calls when something happens.
Excellent incident monitoring tool - More helpful
What do you like best about the product?
I like the alerts, incident reporting, on-call support and update postmortem for each incident after fixed. If incidents occur, the alerts go to the respective domain developer via mail, sms or calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am using rollbar alerts in squadcast. If I resolved rollbar issues in squadcast same was not resolved in rollbar. But if I resolve in rollbar same is resolved in squadcast.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The major problem I faced was if my sales were reduced, I would not know. But now squadcast alerts me by emails, sms or calls. Then I am immediately contacting the concerned developer to fix it.

What do you dislike about the product?
1) Mobile Apps can be a bit mature (iOS Only)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are an evolving team with evolving needs. Squadcast helps us in tracking and managing critical issues without breaching the deadline/timeline for the same. Overall project velocity is not impacted and correct stakeholders are escalated when needed
Very good value for money
What do you like best about the product?
Squadcast is easy to learn and very powerful. It offers a large number of integrations. The documentation is very well done, and the support is very responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing yet! The problems encountered were quickly dealt with by their support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Squadcast allows us to centralize all our alerts, filter them and prioritize them. So we no longer get woken up for nothing.

What do you like best about the product?
Squadcast has been a useful tool for application. We are a social media application so downtime is not ok. The best thing about this is the control it gives our DeveOps team. Not sure how it compares. but our DevOps team did a lot of research when picking SquadCast.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main issue is the cost per user. We would prefer payments on a enteprise plan. Also the UI was a bit hard to navigate and adding people was a bit tedious. Also might be a bit technically complex for a lot of our team.

Squadcast allows us to ensure reliability in our operations. Since our users are on our app 24/7 we need to ensure constant reliability which Squadcast is able to provide.
Good enough, but there are room for improvements
What do you like best about the product?
Simple to understand the report and configuration after they are set correctly. Configurations are not complicated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notifications/calls need to be improved - at this time and age, you should be able to call using data instead of relying on the unreliable cell network

What do you like best about the product?
Anyone in an on call role knows how critical it is to get clear, noticeable alerting when systems malfunction or monitors fail. Squadcast delivers that in a user friendly, attention grabbing way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't come across anything so far, seems to be working pretty well for what the to is.

Squadcast ensures alerts are noticed, checked, followed up on, and your on call times are easy to get to and review.
