Squadcast offers premium features at no cost to users
What do you like best about the product?
We are a small to medium sized business that develops and operates cloud based software services to customers primarily in manufacturing. Most customers run shifts around the clock however we are only staffed during normal business hours. If there is a network or software issue that takes place after hours its critical that we be alerted. With Squadcast we have found that we can determined which alerts we want prioritized, which we want to ignore, we can even suppress repeated alerts. After doing research we found Squadcast was the best value allowing us to have many team members on our support rotation and all while still utilizing the first tier of service which does not cost us.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only issues have been with the IOS app having bugs however I am not aware of any of the previous bugs that we encountered still being an issue. It appears as though they have all been addressed. These inluded not being able to add notes to a ticket and login issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to have application up time monitoring to ensure we don't have any outages that go uncaught.
Great software when you need it most
What do you like best about the product?
Alerting works perfect. Sadly had to wake up a few times because of it, but in the end it was extremely hepful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Schedules could be improved. Its not always clear when my shift is.

What do you like best about the product?
As an on-call engineer I used Squadcast for incident response. I enjoyed the easy setup on my own devices and easy integration with monitoring tools.

The app feels a bit out of date. It is also hard to swap schedules with other engineers

What do you like best about the product?
Squadcast is great for alerting you when important services are experiencing high volumes of errors that require your attention. It integrates well with other monitoring tools such as Azure Insights and Datadog. I'm sure there are more but those are just the 2 we use and there isn't any issues setting up the specific rules for when to notify us.
The on-call feature is great so you can have 24 hour observation without being glued to a screen and it doesn't leave any 1 person or teammate being responsible for the whole show.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the same alert will continually blow up your phone while you are currently investigating the issue. This is highly aggravating. I know there are suppression rules and other mechanisms in place to limit these alerts manually, but there should really be something built in where if a second/third/fourth alert comes in for the same issue while the first one is still active then it doesn't need to make that awful noise on your phone that disrupts you while working.

It gives up visibility to errors as they happen without needing to stare are incoming logs in realtime.
Great product to organize a difficult task
What do you like best about the product?
The design is really cool and the alerting feature is well made, also organizing the schedule is nice.

Initially we struggle a little bit to change shifts when we were oncall, I think now it with the scehdules v2 is better.

It solved the alerting problem and the on call shift management.

What do you like best about the product?
squad cast on call services helping us to filter important things among 1000 mails. Easy to undersatnd thins from UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lots of false alerts unwanted alerts need to filter out to reduce continuous calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tickets distribution and resource health monitoring . By these action user can save lot of time and work will equally distributes among team members.

I dont dislike anything about squadcast! Everything works great!!

In case of any production issue it notifies the team that something is wrong and we must have alook. Allows to keep track of all issues
A very good IMT (Incident Management Tool)
What do you like best about the product?
Easy schedule creation, quick integration and best support.

Two way extensions sometimes create a loop of triggers.

The problem of managing the 24x7 incident management within the SLAs.
