Squadcast is a great alerting tool but lacks some features that other alerting tools have.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy of use and setup when running first time config. You can view it via app or mobile device and that makes it also convenient. Smooth transition from Email to phone to text message.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to acknowledge over a phone or text message. No repeat function if missed call or timer is up for the current on-call staff member. Lack of Group alerting when needed for emergency purposes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Squadcast is currently solving our day-to-day alerting for our IT Infrastructure. We have become more aware of what is going on now with the squad cast, which has increased our ability to reply to the customer or take care of the situation.

What do you like best about the product?
The function is very well. On-call, some application integration, advantages cost.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's nothing now. but login dashboard page dislikes pop-up chat messages. and change the pricing plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used pagerduty. pagerduty has many advanced features, but it's costly per account, and we don't need all feature sets.
So, we will change all accounts to Squadcast.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think that Squadcast brand is not famous in Japan. It would be best if you had branding.

What do you like best about the product?
Squadcast helps our team to manage occuring incidents proactively and resolve and track them.

- Manual look up for ensuring primary and secondary on-caller are not same.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keep a check on any incident that may have occurred in a production system by alerting the responsible personal and remind to resolve asap.
As lot of data may be lost if this issue are not resolved in time, and with squadcast we can keep track of that.

Highly trustable tool.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and understand. Easy to integrate with Jira. This tool came as a saviour as we wanted something trustable as soon as possible. The support team is readily available to solve any doubt.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, as the tool itself, is easy to use. Everything is so great in it. Thanks to the support team, they are available any moment to help in case any assistance is required.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's an incident management system and an on-call feature that our team uses. Integration with Jira was straightforward, and the support person was there to help us understand the tool.

What do you like best about the product?
Runbook is very useful in getting the detailed categorical steps for the incident received. Analytics is the section where we can get details of the MTTA, MTTR and other graphs.
What do you dislike about the product?
One Incident is a loop created in the bidirectional integration. Any updated feature which was not completely tested should be added after testing all the use cases and need to inform clients using that feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Squadcast is resolving the problem of informing for the incident over email, and if not acknowledged, we are getting sms and phone calls as per the configurations done in the escalation policy.

We have used it for our on-call support and has done as well. We get alerts on time and can also add notes to the incidents.
What do you dislike about the product?
Just to sounds needs to be better than the default one currently used.

Our problem was on-call support alerts, Which Squadcast has now helped resolved with better settings and call management.

It does work well unless they have some maintenance issues.

when a client raises a query, it will generate a ticket on squad cast alert and I will acknowledge the alert and respond to the client.

Overall a solid solution
What do you like best about the product?
I like that they are super flexible. I also appreciate their extremely helpful and knowledgeable support team. Last but not least I love that, despite first platform "shock" everything has a place and it's easy and intuitive after you get used to it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that some features are not yet working as expected or are not fully/correctly integrated, but from my awareness, they are working on fixing the ones I have reported so I can reasonably assume they are continuous improving their product as reports flow in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization and the "start-up" to incident management, Ve3fore We didn't have a good place to manager incidents. We handled them on a case by case basis which led to delays and just wasn't good. With squadcast, we can now have everything in one place and we are automatically alerted on incidents.
