What do you dislike about the product?
An option to ingest logs along with alerts and a way issues are better identified and mapped to existing recurring issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With our team size increasing it had become a little difficult to manage our alerts and identify and manage all issues.

Loving squadcast
Is a good system for incident management, the main gap is the management of the schedule.
What do you like best about the product?
the integration with a huge amount of others systems
What do you dislike about the product?
the schedule management is not enought to manage large amount of shifts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solved the contact of the people on shifts, this improve the time of response against incidents
Customer centricity
What do you like best about the product?
Since I started working with Squadcast, they have remained consistent in their customer-centric approach. They have implemented many of our features requests which are critical to our fast-paced industry of ever-evolving technology and growing requirements. The ability to have a discussion with the product owner and team behind the product is powerful. I'm happy to continue our partnership with them.
What do you dislike about the product?
It needs a Terraform module so we can automatically deploy services
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We track all incidents in Squadcast, keeping our investigation, postmortems and incident discussion within Squadcast.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Considering the price you pay for the product the excellent support we have received for feature requests and open discussion about product direction. I have to say its a fair partnership.

Squadcast - A newcoming game changer in the space!
What do you like best about the product?
Hands down it will have to be the service, changes to the platform to work with our needs in a timely fashion is something we are not use to and really enjoy that customized flexibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ability suppress all notifications during a large maintenance or outage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
being more proactive working through issues rather than reactive. allowing a chain of custody for workflows and allowing for schedules so not everyone on the team is alerted and duplicating work efforts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't hesitate... pull the trigger the staff is amazing to work with and will help you receive the most from the platform.

Monitoring done right
What do you like best about the product?
Squadcast is not just an incident management tool. The best part that I like is the incident discussion history can be used as a knowledge base for the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now nothing, the product seems to be very mature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We managed multiple systems which had huge traffic with a very small team. More like every individual in the team was responsible for more than 2-3M of API calls. We used schedules to properly manage who was on call and not, the history worked really well, to transition folks and the analytics gave a high-level view which is really important when reporting the same to the stakeholders.
Good for adopting SRE
What do you like best about the product?
Alerting and incident management on Squadcast is unlike anything else on the market. From paging to resolving everything works in a seamless flow with very little management interventions. During analytics we are able to see a drill-down of the performance by team or individual, or even get customized reports. Others seem to be charging a lot for really good analytics in comparison. We start a lot of the weekly meetings with many of the reports we get from Squadcast.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be great to request new integrations through the product itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most of our incident management process was being done with a bunch of tools and custom scripts which made everything chaotic. The Squadcast team has been quite proactive with us in helping us adopt SRE best practices.
Great for someone switching from PD
What do you like best about the product?
With PD, our entire team couldn’t have access to the tool. That was the biggest bottleneck from my viewpoint. Everyone on our team is on Squadcast now. The integration with JIRA is great as well, makes it easy to not have duplicated and stale tickets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can’t think of something at this point of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of our business problems was incident management that is transparent to all employees. I think that was the major problem that was solved when we moved to Squadcast.
Great app for SREs
What do you like best about the product?
Real-time dashboards are a big plus, everything gets updated on web instantly. The same quick and snappy feel is continued throughout other features of the application. It’s super easy to switch Slack channels which are synced for the alerts, depending on noise levels and context. Features like alert forwarding are useful for temporary rerouting of critical alert information. Overall, a very intuitive and easy-to-use product.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some feature that are missing or as informed to us, in the pipeline.
One of them is de-duplication of alerts.
One of them is de-duplication of alerts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My job is to ensure quality control of our platform, while guaranteeing continuous innovation. Squadcast is one of those highly dependable apps that helps scale engineering productivity.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you do a POC with Squadcast like we did, you may appreciate the thought and hard work that went into building every feature. They have done a pretty good job!
