The alert system is smooth and reliable
What do you like best about the product?
The alert system and the escalation policies we can define for every heirachy are one of the USP features of the squadcast.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI is not attractive. There should be a dark mode in it.

Timely alerts with full details. Communicate through all means . Email sms calls

No downsides till now. Dashboard could be more readable.

Good and easy solution for Incident Management Software
What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Squadcast for about three months, and we are pretty satisfied with it so far. It is easy to use, and it has all the features we expected for a reasonable price. In addition, one of the issues we had with was the roles and permissions and soon after was improved enormously.
What do you dislike about the product?
The status pages are too basic. I understand it could be the MVP, but it's too minimal as incident entries cannot be edited. Therefore, if a mistake is made, that's it; you cannot do anything. It cannot be fixed or removed. I hope this is improved soon. Removing users is a pain. They need to be removed from many areas (schedules, squads, etc.) before they can be removed for real.

How easy it's to create your squads and services. Also, the straightforward interface of Alert Source Endpointsand to set up alerts integrations

We only missed a single feature from our previous on-call system.
Once an occurrence is acknowledged, there are no other alerts if the issue is not resolved within a period of time. So it often happens that the person on-call is in a meeting, receives an alert, acknowledges it, and forgets to check it later.

Simplifies the incident management and reporting flow
What do you like best about the product?
The free status page allows our Ops Engineers to quickly coordinate, update, report, and respond to customer concerns.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the comfort features of other IoS platforms are missing (more detailed Status Page features, more integrations), but still works extremely well

We've been able to effectively inform our customers when an incident is detected, and quickly get our engineers on the case to start investigating and fixing issues.

What do you like best about the product?
Very intuitive configuration and easy-to-use solution, really like how to deal with alert noise, on-call schedules, and voice call as an option to report incidents.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could offer more remediation functionalities.

With Squadcast, all incidents are automatically closed after the resolution; we have MTTR, MTTA, and post-Morten reports. Besides that, it helps organize the on-call schedule, and we don't need an operator to call the responsible team.

It's quite a good service to manage urgent tasks.

App wise eco system, the fact that you can manage/respond or receive notification through mobile app on the go

Sometimes live notifications doesn't show up

Urjent task management, it gives clarity to reportee that somebody is looking into it and it keeps everybody calm.

The alarm when anything goes down. i can use this feature.

The daily shift notification. doesn't make helpful anymore. I know my shift, and I am already doing my work.

Server failures and maintenance make it easier for me. I loved this notification before getting to know the issues
