Zapier Connects to Everything We Need—A No-Brainer for Business Data
What do you like best about the product?
Probably my favorite thing about Zapier is that it connects to basically everything I need. Since it can be risky to use non-reputable connections with business data, using Zapier feels like a no-brainer.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s definitely a learning curve, and it takes some trial and error, so it does require a bit of effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m currently using it to connect my various data sources to the AI in a reliable way, without having to create 10,000 separate connection paths.
Zapier Makes Connecting Tools and Automating Data Flow Simple
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Zapier as my go-to tool for myself and my clients for over 10 years. I love how simple it is to learn, use and implement. It makes it so simple to be able to connect your tools and send data automatically where it needs to go and when. The interface is easy to navigate and connecting your day-to-day tools to it is super easy as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't love the limits on the number of paths you can have, although the limit has increased since it was first launched. The biggest thing I dislike is their pricing model. It's by far the most expensive out of all the no code automation platforms and can sometimes have a hard time justifying the cost to clients when other platforms are cheaper for double or more tasks/runs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zapier helps me connect and integrate tools that don't integrate with each other on their own. Business processes become far more powerful and much more effective when your tools can "talk" to each other and send data back and forth rather than having everything siloed and separate.
Zapier Saves Us Time by Seamlessly Syncing Donations from Other Platforms to Our CRM
What do you like best about the product?
As a small nonprofit with limited staff capacity, Zapier saves us a huge amount of time by automatically syncing our Donorbox donations into our CRM, Bloomerang. Once I got it our Zap up and running, it has eliminated a lot of manual data entry while helping keep our records updated. The AI copilot is also super important -- it makes building and troubleshooting the workflows much more accessible.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is difficult to set up Zaps and doesn't feel as intuitive and user-friendly as I hoped. I am more tech-savvy than my coworkers and I don't think they would have the patience or ability to create them. When something breaks or doesn't automate as it should, it’s not always clear why, and fixing it can feel like something a developer should handle—even with the AI support. I'm also not sure that my Zaps are set-up in the most streamlined and cost-effective way. Additionally, Zapier is on the expensive side for our nonprofit budget, especially for a tool that still requires ongoing oversight.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zapier automates the creation of new donor profiles and their transaction info between platforms, improving data consistency and saving significant staff time. Instead of manually entering donations, we can focus more on our mission-driven work while still maintaining accurate, up-to-date donor records. For a small team, that time savings makes a real difference in our capacity to support our community.
Zapier Makes Automation Easy with a Simple, Powerful UI
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Zapier automates the repetitive and simple tasks in my day-to-day work life. Instead of having to connect directly to APIs, I can work through a simple UI to create a string of events and triggers to easily sandwich together in automation for my needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I would appreciate about Zapier is if there was a locally running edition where I could automate simple repetitive tasks on my desktop, not just through apps or code online.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zapier is automating our sales follow-up flow, our marketing CRM steps, as well as the conversion calculations for that same CRM. It is also automatically responding to reviews and helping us draft messages to new and recurring clients.
Simple to Use, Packed with Automation Options
What do you like best about the product?
Simple to use and has a large variety of options to create automations!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be tricky to understand the steps to get through, but with AI has significantly increased!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data transfer between platforms works like magic because the systems don't have direct connectors. Zappier is the perfect fix.
Most User-Friendly iPaaS for Powerful, Creative Automations
What do you like best about the product?
Zapier is the most user-friendly iPaaS tool available on the market that can be used by both technical and non-technical people looking to automate both tasks and the general flow of data between their apps. The integrations are numerous and creativity is often the limiting factor on what you can create/connect.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zapier your has a specific market as far as user base who their pricing makes most sense for. It can get a bit expensive for those who don't fit the target user, and to extremely technical users, sometimes the tool can be a bit rigid, but that's because in my opinion, they want to retain the ease of use that comes with the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zapier helps me eliminate the idea of siloed tools and reduces the need for me to app switch constantly. App switching causes a ton of friction and waste a ton of time in people's daily work lives and specifically mine. Now I am much more efficient.
Zapier Makes Connecting Zendesk and HubSpot Easy—and AI Helps with Complex Steps
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Zapier allows me to connect different tools within our workspace. I can easily take information from Zendesk and add it to Hubspot Properties, and vice-versa. It was easy to set up a Zap, and the flows are mostly intuitive. Zapier is always one of the first things I check and I do end up using it time and time again to assist with my tasks.
I've also had great success using the AI helper to assist in creating more complex steps, whether that's checking my work, or using the AI by Zapier Step.
I've also had great success using the AI helper to assist in creating more complex steps, whether that's checking my work, or using the AI by Zapier Step.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love the opportunity to have additional nested paths. Right now, there's only a maximum of 4 paths that can be nested, and I found myself wanting more for a Zap. I would also love the ability to add additional loops, or to have the ability to return to a previous step, based on a result or condition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When you have multiple systems, you want them to all have the same data - or at least have consistent shared points of data between the two of them. I appreciate how Zapier allows me to take data from a form, format and create a helpdesk ticket, and then take that data and add it to a CRM for additional team members to easily find the information.
Having this all be automated makes our lives a lot easier - reducing the number of clicks and/or tedious work that would be needed to be completed otherwise.

Great Automation Between Airtable, Squarespace, and Google Calendar
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the automation that it helps provide between Airtable, Squarespace, and Google Calendar. It allows me to be able to track my orders through squarespace and share pertinent information with my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not mobile friendly. There are times that i need to access my zaps via my phone out in the field. But i have to wait until i get home onto a computer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of giving automation of infomation to our system in Airtable but also giving information to our team members.
Zapier Makes the Impossible Possible
What do you like best about the product?
Zapier creates something that seems impossible and makes it possible. I love that it can take a a platform and another platform and have them communicate to create streamline system.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little confusing setting up the communication between two platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s solving having to do so much manual work. For example it communicates with one platform to take a submitted form and place it on another platform of a workflow to get work done without copying and pasting from one platform to another.
Getting more outdated by the day and their refund policy reflects it.
What do you like best about the product?
I used to like Zapier's no code/low code approach, which made it easy to integrate any third-party software. Zapier had a very simple way to connect softwares that didn't have a native connector, solving problems for me. The initial setup was pretty easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It feels pretty clunky and regularly, Zapier encounters errors in zaps that don't give a clear reason why they didn't work. It's often a connector not working or needing an update. With AI getting better, it is much easier these days to do pure code automations. We stopped using Zapier and turns out they try to lock you in by not offering refunds for any credit balances on the account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zapier solves the problem of connecting software without native connectors, allowing me to automate steps between different tools.
