Zapier’s Huge App Library Makes Automation Easy for Non‑Tech Users
What do you like best about the product?
May be obvious - but the breadth of the application library is the single best thing about Zapier in my opinion. I also love how easy it is to use, especially as someone who has no coding or tech background at all.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only thing I would like to see some improvements on is the AI agent capabilities - sometimes feels difficult to work with and "clunky" in terms of some of the responses I receive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it has entirely changed our pipeline process. Being able to use the tabels functions and inbound a bunch of leads at once as opposed to manually inputting each lead and populating 30+ columns in our CRM has given me time to focus on other more important tasks.
So Easy to Set-up and Use
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use. I get intimidated by things that are too technical. Depending on what the zap is, it could be difficult to set up. However, Zapier makes it easy by providing prompts and AI help.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like more Zaps to be free, hahaha! I get it though, a powerful product like this needs to charge. I'm just grateful for the free zaps I get now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work with a group outside of our company via Slack. In Slack, we can set up Groups so that multiple people can be tagged with one username. However, people outside the org can't use that feature even if they are in the same Slack channels. I created a zap that allowed all Slack users (even those outside our org) to be able to tag a specific group. So far it's been working as intended with no issues.
Powerful Automation For Two Small Business Owners with Other Full Time Jobs
What do you like best about the product?
It helps automate my business so that I can spend more time on what matters. I really appreciate the ability to test things out to ensure it's working well. I use the integrate with Honeybook, ClickUp, and Google Sheets frequently. I have no issues with performance and pricing is fair.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not necessarily super intuitive as a user interface. I use Relay as well and prefer that more for how easy and intuitive it is to use as a non-tech person. I find Relay's AI interface easier to use as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My cofounder and I were spending way too much time on manual admin tasks that pulled us away from actually serving our students in our small college consulting business. Zapier has automated the workflows that used to fall through the cracks, like syncing new HoneyBook contracts directly into ClickUp so client onboarding tasks are created automatically, logging payments into our accounting spreadsheet without anyone having to touch it, and adding new appointments to MailerLite so our email list stays current. Before Zapier, these were all things we had to remember to do manually after a long day of work. Now they just happen. For two teachers running a business on the side, that kind of behind-the-scenes automation saves us hours every month and honestly just gives us peace of mind.
Zapier is a Game Changer for Real Estate Agents
What do you like best about the product?
That it's intuitive and visually appealing. For me, it's important to be able to see flows visually and Zapier makes that easy - like a puzzle. Copilot is also a great tool for when I'm lazy, and the amount of integrations and apps it can connect to is very good. I recently automated it to add my new TypeForm leads to my CRM and no matter how many leads it gets, it does not lag or fail and they are quickly added to my to-do list.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think there are many downsides. I use the free version of it, and arguably at times I would like to have a few more steps included in the free version, but it's not a major setback. I would say, for some beginners, it can be a little cryptic if they don't onboard properly (most don't), so they may need some more help or they may give up on the product too soon. I personally have a coding background so I understand the flow, but I have had discerning opinions on how the language is used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me automate responses and gather data mainly. I work in the real estate sector as well as free lancing for web development and I help other real estate agents with tech solutions, but a lot of it is light work that can be automated, so I help agents actually use Zap and teach them how to use it to be better. I encourage them to use it like I do to integrate CRMs, get organized, and be able to handle larger workloads.
Huge Time Savings with Automated Workflows
What do you like best about the product?
I like how much time I can save by allowing workflows to happen automatically. This is really helpful for me!
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it difficult to think of WHAT to build. Maybe Zapier should have something where it asks about your business, and then recommends Zaps/Agents to build. There are so many possibilities that thinking creatively can feel difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manual work that is occupying my time on a weekly basis. Being able to get my time back is a huge benefit to me.
Zapier Automations Save Time and Effortlessly Connect Everything
What do you like best about the product?
The automations I can create in Zapier save me a lot of time and reduce both the cost and the need for additional staff to handle certain tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations on the number of steps or integrations, but overall it seems to integrate with nearly everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’ve had fewer issues with Zaps not running, and I’m also seeing fewer overall system problems.
Easy to Learn, Connects Systems Seamlessly
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to learn it without any background in automation. And the fact that it connects so many systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
When authentications expire. Which isn't Zapier's fault.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There's no one system out there that does everything that you need, and Zapier helps to bridge that gap.
Excellent Interoperability That Delivers
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to make the tools that i usexdaily Interoperable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Understanding new pricing models when they come out
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting disparate tools
Easy-to-Use Automations for Beginners and Power Users
What do you like best about the product?
Easy-to-use automations for beginners as well as more accomplished folks. I like many of the options that are already available within the platform, especially for services such as Google Workspace, because they make it easier to set up connections.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the technical terms take a bit of time to understand because they’re quite specific. Also, a few background operations that surface in the interface can be confusing, especially things like the metadata ID numbers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integrating with multiple services that don’t normally have interoperability.
Connects Data Sources and Automates Workflows
What do you like best about the product?
It connects software and data sources, as well as automates various activities based on different events.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is slightly more complicated (technically) than I am comfortable managing, and I needed external resources to help me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a CRM, email, and other applications that it connects and automates workflows (e.g., send an email when XYZ happens).
