What do you like best about the product?
Deltek provides a lot of documentation on the product Costpoint .
What do you dislike about the product?
Deltek Costpoint interface is user friendly when compared to other systems. It just seems a bit cold.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I noted Delteck had included the banner option that provides step-by-step information as a banner notification, which is like having the SOP at your fingertips.

What do you like best about the product?
Financial capabilities that are government approved that segregates the cost. Additional modules for budgeting and contract management. Links that tie contracts to projects and to budgeting and opportunities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Multiple entry points into various data tables. Lots of training required to be proficient in the different modules. Combine some applications in less windows, i.e. creating and linking PLC's to projects and bill rates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating budgets and forecasting active projects and new business. consolidated outlook by organization. able to analyze and present data more effectively. able to make better strategic decisions.

What do you like best about the product?
Strong user community and learning zone to help you answer the How something could be done working the systems - very configurable.
What do you dislike about the product?
UX it is getting better but has a long way to go - to many clicks to get to where you need to be - lots of in and out of screens to accomplish a process

Deltek announced an integration platform that will help the sharing of data in and out of costpoint with 3rd party applications

It can be a challenge to set up and have all modules function completely.

Comprehensive product for GovCons. Current product version much better than previous version

Integration of modules within product. Still need to push data from one module to another .

Costpoint is a great system for project based companies. Many things other ERPs have to be customized to handle are handled by default in Costpoint.

It's not always intuitive for end users.

As an admin, I don't see all of the problems of the business, but usually Costpoint can handle what users need or we can figure out a way to handle it.
