What do you like best about the product?
User Friendly and can use with ADP Vantage system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like more functions and for systems to work together.

What do you like best about the product?
After years of working with various ERP systems, Costpoint is still the premier and approved system for doing business with the government. Preliminary conversations with auditors are often very smooth after they hear Costpoint is the system we are using.
What do you dislike about the product?
Looking forward to the 8.2 upgrade to bring some new features and ease of use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Costpoint is adding Smart AI which will simplify creating reports.
My Experience and knowledge of Deltek Costpoint
What do you like best about the product?
Deltek Costpoint (CP) helps a company doing business with the governement to set up the contract/project, manage it and report it accurately.
What do you dislike about the product?
CP requires knowledge and experience that is not taught in schools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If set up correctly, you can rely on Costpoint to report correctly labor rates, labor codes, project codes and titles, all costs charged to each project including labor hours from Time & Expense. It helps to be that second memory for a wise user.

I like that it's straightforward and that it's easy to find things in the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it's not easy to fix mistakes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's good with tracking budgets by project.

What do you like best about the product?
Communications, once you know how to best acquire support, deltek is very helpful.

Sometime difficult to obtain quick answers to quick fixes.

Maintains all contract/project related data and has the ability to report out fairly quickly.

Very user friendly! Our team enjoys the ease of configuration and integration w other systems...a great one-stop-shoppe :)

Nothing comes to mind that is least helpful for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The back office applications, D/C is hugely helpful for getting this data to our Clients as well as for our ISO Compliance.
Numerous issues since the upgrade to 8.2 was completed
What do you like best about the product?
Recognition and FAR compliance for Government contractors
What do you dislike about the product?
- Canned reports when exported to excel are not organized in a way to be able to analyze the date in an efficient manner
- We've had numerous issues since the 8.2 upgrade was made in August 2023
- Currently having issues where PSR, Revenue Worksheets, and the GL revenue does not align for numerous projects
- Charging customers additional fees to have additional individuals with the ability to submit tickets is very restrictive and inefficient for client help given the amount of help we've required in the last 6 months
- The amount of steps required to perform tasks/updates to tables/GL compared to other systems is very inefficient.
- Customer support can be slow without going to significant effort to escalate issues
- We've had numerous issues since the 8.2 upgrade was made in August 2023

Honestly, we are very frustrated with the systems functionality at this moment as well as the time it is taking to resolve issues with customer support.

Ease to use and good customer support team

Lots of update for each version, not good on reporting sides

When set up correctly, Costpoint provides lots of information on projects

What do you like best about the product?
Deltek Business Intelligence is a powerful reporting that is integrated with Costpoint, Planning and T & E data
What do you dislike about the product?
Planning and T & E is not fully integrated with Costpoint. Data migrations between the applications do not always update cleanly

Accounting, Project Reporting, Project Forecasting and Timesheets
