Best choice as API headless CMS for my Front apps
What do you like best about the product?
Strapi helps me to focus on front-end development by making backend and API implementation very fast and easy !
What do you dislike about the product?
Backend interface should be fully responsive. Adding entries from a smartphone is not simple.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Get rid of a fastidious API/backend development
The headless CMS service of the future
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of Strapi is that it is only opinionated where it is necessary, but is flexible in most other regards. I like how it is user friendly to editors, but has a great API (including GraphQL) so that developers are empowered, but it's also possible to build MacOS Shortcuts integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the downsides is that the media library doesn't easily support internationalization, meaning that the built-in fields for captions and alt tags can not really be used, This creates the necessity to store this information on a different level, but this makes it difficult to create elements like carousels which are much easier to create if the alt tags and captions can be pulled from the media library.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Strapi will serve as the editorial content repository and admin interface for a museum and heritage foundation. it should support multiple frontends but also should let us fetch data to automatically generate email newsletters and other stuff.
A great tool to manage our website.
What do you like best about the product?
It evolves quickly, the data model is editable easily and it’s very easy to use for everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like every generic tool, some corner cases must be avoided.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating a BackOffice to manage our website would have been time consuming without it.
Great and easy to setup, modern headless CMS
What do you like best about the product?
With strapi it is straightforward to set up a project and get started quickly. It provides an API out of the box. Since it is an open-source project, it is very flexible and customizable. The community is helpful and strapi provides good documentation and frequent updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some important features are missing out of the box, e.g., the possibility to export data. But so far, I was able to add most of the missing functionality with plugins.
A lot of the documentation and other information is for v3, but the new v4 brought some changes, so you need to be aware of the differences between the two versions.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using strapi to build an interactive LMS for education. I use it for user management and basic CRUD operations to track user activity.
It allowed me to set up a working API quickly and saved me hours of work. It also allowed me to reuse an existing website built with a javascript framework without many changes.

Awesome, flexible headless CMS
What do you like best about the product?
Strapi makes it super easy to set up APIs to retrieve, edit and create new content for a static website. It's super easy to work with out-of-the-box but offers the flexibility to customize to each users need.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the biggest downside of Strapi so far is the outdated documentation for plug-ins. Both Strapi and consumers heavily documented V3, but that documentation doesn't necessarily translate to v4 that well. With a little bit of finagling, I was able to get my plug-ins to work, but having updated documentation of out-of-the-box features would be great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main benefit is that of the headless CMS in general, but also the execution of that idea. Spinning up a new instance on AWS or similar platforms is really helpful!
Awesome way to organize content
What do you like best about the product?
I can structure data however I want basing on my requirements.
Exposablea s REST API.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not much so far. It mainly covers all our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are serving content to our mobile app and web app as well.
Perfect for setting up micro services
What do you like best about the product?
Strapi is perfect for quickly setting up microservices and start serving data. It's flexible enough to support many different data structure and with GraphQL API out of the gate it's really easy to integrate with an existing infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some downsides to it, one of the biggest for us being the lack of ability to create label/value lists. Although I understand that this is a limitation connected to having GraphQL support I still think you should be able to "fake" that functionality in some other way. At the moment you have to create a new collection for every category/section that you need and that can become quite cluttered in the admin UI.

Amazing open source headless CMS
What do you like best about the product?
Modern and clean UI, Great API capabilities, either using GraphQL or REST. Their great support and easy-to-follow documentations on how to customize everything! There is a huge community behind it and there is always updates and communication is very clear from the development team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their new update v4 is out, but the documentation is lacking little, documentation for other cloud services AWS/Azure is also lacking little. But to be honest it is pretty difficult to come put with dislikes as it does a lot of the stuff really good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am creating a platform for education where they will be able to upload and brose content, the ease of choice between REST and GraphQL has helped me a lot in making Strapi my main choice.
