Simplifying Cloud Security with a Unified Platform

    Reviewed on Jun 29, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
it brings multiple security capabilities together in a single, cloud-native platform. Instead of managing separate tools for secure web access, cloud application security, data protection, and zero trust network access, everything is available through one centralized console, which simplifies administration.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area that could be improved is the initial deployment and policy configuration. Since the platform offers many features and granular controls, there is a learning curve for new administrators. Proper planning and testing are important to avoid overly restrictive policies during implementation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Netskope One Platform helps address the challenge of securing users, applications, and data in a cloud-first environment. With employees accessing SaaS applications and web resources from different locations and devices, it provides centralized visibility and consistent security policy enforcement without relying on traditional network boundaries.

    UI/UX
Initial setup is complex and requires expertise. UI is being rebuilt but not there yet. Once live, workable but not intuitive.

    Integrations
Strong native API integration with leading vendors. 30+ partner connectors. Some integration clarity gaps with CrowdStrike and others—unclear what data flows where.

    Performance
Solid latency and connectivity, stable endpoint agent. Won't slow down your network or users.

    Pricing / ROI
Significantly higher than Zscaler. Only makes sense if replacing 3+ tools. Consolidation saves money operationally, not upfront.

    Support / Onboarding
Professional services handles activation; support P1 response under 2 hours. Onboarding is demanding but well-managed once engaged.

    AI / Intelligence
Advanced UEBA with ML models for automated C2 beacon detection. Continuous behavior monitoring for anomaly detection and AI tool misuse. Strong generative AI monitoring. Real differentiator—competitors lag here.
What do you dislike about the product?
    What Doesn't Work:
    UI/UX Mess

The interface feels clunky and dated. Setup requires serious expertise—not built for mid-market IT teams. You'll spend weeks getting it right. Multiple portals to manage different functions kills efficiency. Even after deployment, policy configuration is tedious.
    Pricing is Aggressive

Cost is substantially higher than competitors like Zscaler for similar functionality. You're paying a premium without clear justification unless you're consolidating many tools. Budget conversations get difficult.
    Integration Ambiguity

While integrations exist, they're unclear. CrowdStrike integration? Nobody really knows what telemetry actually flows. Data enrichment between tools is murky. You end up guessing whether it's working.
    Onboarding Friction

Initial configuration is brutal. Requires dedicated resources and Netskope's professional services. Takes months to get to production-ready, not weeks. Your team will burn cycles on setup instead of security.
    Support Inconsistency

Premium tiers are expensive. Basic support (5 business days) is too slow for real incidents. TAC (Technical Account Coordinator) quality varies—sometimes great, sometimes you loop in your account manager just to get traction.
    Limited for Smaller Orgs

This is enterprise-grade. If you're under 500 users, the overhead and cost don't justify the benefits. Overkill and expensive for your use case.
    AI Features Still Maturing

UEBA is good but not exceptional. Generative AI monitoring is new—real-world effectiveness still unproven. You're partly beta testing their latest features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    Problems It Actually Solves:
Shadow SaaS & Unauthorized AI Apps

Organizations have zero visibility into what cloud apps employees use. Netskope shows you everything—including personal ChatGPT, unauthorized Gemini, shadow Salesforce instances. You can't protect what you can't see. Benefit: Real control over data leakage into unsanctioned tools.
    Data Loss Prevention at Scale

Legacy DLP tools are slow and create false positives. Netskope's DLP is granular—you can block data uploads to personal cloud storage while allowing work tools. It captures exactly what was pasted into ChatGPT or Gmail. Benefit: Compliance without crippling user workflows.
    VPN Replacement (ZTNA)

VPNs are slow, hard to manage, and insecure. Netskope replaces VPN with Zero Trust Network Access. Employees get faster remote access, IT gets better control. Benefit: Speed + security without the VPN overhead.
Single Console Instead of Tool Sprawl

Most enterprises run 5-6 separate security tools (CASB, SWG, ZTNA, FWaaS, DLP, threat protection). Netskope consolidates into one platform with one policy engine. Benefit: Fewer tools to manage, faster incident response, simpler policies.
    Visibility into AI Risk

Generative AI adoption is exploding but uncontrolled. Netskope tracks which AI apps are being used, what data flows into them, and flags risky behavior. Benefit: You actually know your AI risk instead of guessing.
    Threat Detection on Cloud/Web Traffic

Most organizations are blind to threats in cloud and web traffic. Netskope detects malware, C2 beacons, and anomalies in real-time. Benefit: Catches threats before they become breaches.

Practical and Reliable SSE Platform for Daily Enterprise Security Operations

    Reviewed on May 12, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Netskope One Platform is the level of visibility and control it provides across web, cloud, and private application traffic from a single console. As an administrator, it makes it much easier to monitor user activity, identify risky behavior, and enforce security policies without managing multiple disconnected tools. The policy engine is one of the strongest parts of the platform. We can create very granular policies based on users, applications, device posture, activities, and data sensitivity, which helps enforce security without impacting normal business operations. The DLP and CASB capabilities are especially useful because they provide deep inspection and control over SaaS applications and data movement. Another major advantage is the user experience. Even with SSL inspection and strict security controls enabled, application performance and browsing remain stable for end users. The platform feels mature, scalable, and designed for real enterprise environments. the centralized dashboard, detailed reporting and incident investigation workflow also save a significant amount of time for the security team during daily operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there is not much to dislike. The initial policy setup and tuning look some time in our environment because of the number of users and applications we manage, but once everything was configured properly, the platform became very stable and easy to handle. Overall , my experience with Netskope One Platform has been very positive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Netskope One Platform helped us solve visibility and control issues across cloud applications, web traffic, and remote users. Before using it, managing security policies across different tools was difficult tools was difficult and time-consuming. Now everything is centralized, which has improves monitoring, reduced troubleshooting time, and made policy management much easier for our team. It also helped us secure SaaS and AI application usage without affecting user experience, which has been a major benefit in daily operations.

Netskope One Platform: A Zero-Trust SASE That Crushed Our Hybrid Headaches- Admin-Approved Beast.

    Reviewed on May 08, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I've been hands-on with Netskope One Platform as both a day-to-day user and the primary admin rolling it out across our mid-sized finance team. Let me break down why it's game changer without the fluff.

Zero trust security that actually works: We Ditched our old patchwork of tools (think legacy firewalls and basics web filters) for Netskope's SASE approach. The inline SSL inspection catches sneaky threats like ransomware payloads in encrypted traffic-saved us from a nasty phishing wave last quarter. Real time DLP policies are granular; I set rules to block sensitive PII uploads to unapproved clouds, and it flags them before they leave our network.

Cloud-Native Visibility on Steroids: The dashboard is a dream. As admin, I love the unified pane for CASB, SWG, and ZTNA. Drill into user behaviour across AWS, O365,
salesforce-no more jumping between consoles. Risk scoring per user/device highlights shadows IT or risky apps instantly. We cut our SaaS sprawl by 40% in six months by enforcing least-privilege access.

Performance That Doesn't Suck: Unlike clunky VPNs, the private access tunnels keep latency low. Remote workers in Asia report Zoom call and file shares feel local. admin-side, bandwidth steering optimizes traffic-prioritizes critical apps during peak hours.

Netskope One isn't just another security suite--it's control tower for hybrid work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Look, no tool is flawless and Netskope's no exception-- here's the real talk from trenches as an admin who's tweaked it daily.

The initial ramp-up hits steeper than a mountain pass if your team's not deep into cloud lingo yet. Docs are solid, but i'd kill for bite-sized video demos walking through policy wizards step-by-step saves those "aha" moments from trial-and-error.

Pricing sits in the upper tier, which makes sense for enterprise-grade muscle, but it demands a sharp ROI story upfront (we crunched ours on blocked threats and time saved-- paid off big). not a gripe, just budget reality.

That's it- minor tweaks on a powerhouse. They've been responsive to feedback in updates, So here's hoping vNext polishes these edges. Still smash that 5-star for the wins.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Here's the what it fixes and why my life's eaiser:

Blind Spots in Cloud & Encrypted Traffic:
Old school firewalls chocked on HTTPS floods and SaaS sprawl (o365, Box, you name it). Netskope's inline inspection + CASB lights it all up-catches data exfill, shadow IT, malware hiding in TLS. Benefit? Slashed incident response time from days to hours; blocked 200+ risky uploads last quarter alone. No more 2AM war rooms.

    VPN Hell for Remote Teams:
Legacy VPNs were laggy bandwidth hogs, killing productivity for our global crew.
ZTNA+SWG swaps that for per-app access with private tunnels. benefit? latency dropped 70% (Zoom feels native now), user complaints vanished, and ticket volume down to 60%.

Deep Shadow IT Visibility, but a Steep Learning Curve for Admins

    Reviewed on Apr 29, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The best part is the deep visibility it provides into shadow IT and cloud app usage. The granular policy controls allow us to secure sensitive data across multiple platforms without impacting user productivity
What do you dislike about the product?
he platform has a steep learning curve and the management console can feel cluttered at times. It takes quite a bit of training for new admins to fully master all the advanced security features
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the visibility gap in our cloud environment, especially with the rise of Shadow AI and unauthorized generative AI tools. By replacing our legacy VPN with ZTNA, we've improved remote access speed while ensuring that sensitive data is protected from leaking into unsanctioned personal cloud apps.
