Centreon-The monitoring tool
What do you like best about the product?
We are using centreon to monitor our server and different networking devices which placed at different location.We can access the live status of our devices for multiple branch devices at same time.We are able to get proactive monitoring.We can trace live status of up and down time of our devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when we are continuously using centreon then it got hanged.Then we have to close the centreon tab and restart.When multiple devices goes down at same time then its difficult to find the database because it takes little bit time to reload.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We do proactive monitoing for the devices of our customers so that they will not face link down issue from our end.As we are internet service provider we need database to fetch issue in our end as well as customer backend,issue like error in connection of switch etc.we check whether our link is up or not by checking information provided in database.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend this whose having multiple branches of same company,because it is very good to do work like monitoring for multiple devices placed at different location at same time ,as well as to get proactive status of devices to do troubleshooting with the help of database.it is good specially for IT & Networking infrastructure.

Best monitoring toll in network. It is useful to take immediate action on issues and to found fault in network infrastructure.

There is nothing to dislike. It takes to much time after refreshing. Need to improve on it.

We can find fault within network and resolve this fault by using Centreon.

Centreon is the best tool in IT monitoring solution for a large infrastructures.the bestest thing which i felt in this tool is we can see live monitoring of our users so that we can demand full visibility.we can even monitor whichever customer goes down so that we can troubleshoot the particular link from our end too.

Sometimes it lags at the time of refresh the page.even it is totally depend on internet connectivity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we store the database of our leaseline and broadband customers on centreon.So whenever we receive a call or any query from the customer we can monitor them accordingly and solve them in a go.

We are been working in network industry.We have our network spread in different cities.We have placed our routers and switches in many different cities, to monitor all these network we use centreon as an monitoring tool in our organization.By using centreon the devices become easy to monitor.This tool is easy to use and also to monitor.

It gets very hang when frequently use.Also it has an disadvantage i.e downtime

What do you like best about the product?
first off all centreon is the best monitoring software,in our industry every employ uses this software monitoring particular zone, you get to know which zone is up and which zone is down,another thing across all systems and location,organisation gets a clear view of the business infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
many times multiple issues creating in zone,that time Centreon responsibilities is proper information showing in zone regarding but multiple time Centreon showing mismatch information,another thing is user is disconnected but Centreon through use is connected.

we monitor particular zone that are linked with are ISP and troubleshoot problems,the benefit of this application is we get particular information of zone down and zone up .

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Centreon application is that we use it for monitoring particular zones which are linked with the company, it shows the exact time limit which zone is down and which zone is up, from what time and when. You can get best end to end monitoring output, you can also resolve the issue itself before the client notices that particular link is down. Also gives best performance when you use.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now i particularly like every functionality of it there are no cons just it takes few time to load completely as of i would consider it as a minor one. Sometimes in the unhandled problems you'll usually get the problems which are handled which can be fixed in a minor update

We Usually look after particular zones , where there's fluctuation in speed, how much is the downtime of server at a particular location. in the host section we get each and every data of every zones

The centreon software takes too much time to refresh.It also get very hang while operating.

What do you like best about the product?
In my organization the tool use for monitoring is centreon so far as it stable,robust tool.As it provides real-timing monitoring.shows up and down time of each end users which help to trigger problem in network.It provide great platform for monitoring.The primary use is of the solution is to trigger incidents and to resolve issues before the customer notices that is the main reason why we prefer centreon.It's flexible for infrastructure monitoring.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think need update the refresh time as it is very slow while refreshing,I would like to see a better UI..............

It become easy and manageable to mange end user using centreon as it provide real time status of switches,mkt devices,pop devices and other device.The most important feature is that it permits us to receive alarms if there is an incident within the infrastructure.

Quite easy to monitor,performance is stable,looking tool for monitoring go for centreon than in term of cost its worth.

We Using Centron as a base for almost all of our monitoring. Thats one thing can improve our orgnization.Centron basically are designed to simplify installation and management in monitoring enterprice IT system,Network,Applicetion and sevices.

Sometime it lacks at the time refresh page.

We are from Networking industry.Our Orgnisation Depend on Centron Software and we able to inform to our clints from our side if there any issue . Where Centron software less time to solve the issue and helps run the process smoothly.Centron helf us to to improve our services.i.e where if any links goes done then we call custmor imidetly and give them ETR befor their complaints.

What do you like best about the product?
Main purpose to use this tool is monitoring. It's user friendly tool. We are in networking industry so we have to manage around thousands of network tools.
We are taking care of everything like network tool like router, Switches, Nano beam wireless device & OS, applications, security patches, backup, etc.
Using this tool we are able to trace the live time of our network devices.
Using this centreon it's easy to find data base and monitor links.

What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to monitor ICMP links. If we use continuously then some times there is issue in Centreon server loading issue & got hang & we have to reboot the server many times. After rebooting this server it works very slow for some time after it work properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If any link goes down then we call customer before they call & solve their problems. It help us to satisfy customer if we take care customer. Easy to find data base and monitor links

This is best monitoring tool. I recommended to use this tool. No need to use any other tool if you use Centreon.
