What do you like best about the product?
Centreon is best tool to detect network outages.We are able to configure multiple device in centreon and able to monitor all devices same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need to update with latest update.We are not able to check only up and down status from centreon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are providing internet to customers via switches.We are using it to monitor our switches.We are able to check total up and down devices with live up and down time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is good open source IT and network monitoring tool.

Centreon is designed for device monitoring.It is real time monitoring tool for enterprise industry.It having capability to monitor multiple devices at same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are unable to monitor network bandwidth using this.It shows only live up or down status.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have configured our multiple devices in centreon portal.We are monitoring our device performance using centreon. It is very easy to monitor the device performance using centreon. It also gives the live update about the device.

What do you like best about the product?
In Network Industry Monitoring of the network devices is more important. Centreon plays an important role in monitoring the networks devices and as well as clients. Centreon application can be used as database as it contains IP addresses of clients and network devices,location and also the name. Centreon also provides up time and down time of network devices and clients accurately.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike but it does not work properly when it get hanged.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use centreon as one of our powerful monitoring software for monitoring our clients and network devices like routers and switches.If a clients has any network issue,we used the database of centreon and do the further troubleshooting to resolve the problem quickly.

The best monitoring application.If working in a network flied then you should have centreon. It is very easy to understand.

What do you like best about the product?
Centreon contains database like IP address,location,name of clients which helps us to find our clients and network devices.In an Network Industry we need to monitor our network devices and our clients all the time,centreon plays an important role for doing monitoring.It Highligts the down devices or clients by Red colour.Centreon shows the accurate up time and down time of clients and devices. Centreon is very easy to use and easy to handle also.

Nothing to dislike about centreon but if it gets hanged it does not work properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using centreon we are able to do monitoring of our clients and our network devices.If any of our client goes down,we use details from the data base,call the clients and do the further troubleshooting to resolve the issue.

For the proactive monitoring of network devices like routers switches and servers centreon is one of the best tool.We are able to check the live up time from centreon portal.

If in our computer having less RAM and memory space then it works very slow.Because it requires some more space in computer to proper working.

We are proactively monitoring the our switches and routers from centreon. We are able to monitor all our devices from one computer using it.It helps us to monitoring and troubleshooting of network outages.

As Network engineer I am working on different NMS tools daily basis one of them is Centreon.
my company basically offers emerging nEw services like lease lined connection, wholesale bandwidth, cloud solutions, CDN solutions. we need to maintain or monitor all our connections which already gave to our all client which placed at two-state (Maharashtra, Goa) in India. For monitoring these all kinds of links we used CENTREON tools to monitor our network and find different types of incident occur in the real-time network and alert to us for future network outage so we can take necessary action in prior and give reliability to our client without any disturbance. Centreon is basically a proactive monitoring tool that gives us different types of features as we can easily manage our network with the help of the center. End to end proactive report they give to us. if we want to make any changes in our network We can schedule downtime with the help of center. Centreon does a great job like depth of monitoring, end to end coverage.
Pros:
* Great filtering capability in GUI interface
* Proactive end to end monitoring
* We can easily make changes on a single dashboard with minimum time
* Easily Configurable and simple to handle

*Centreon is one of the best monitoring tools which I have ever seen in my work experience. I am a network engineer and worked for one of the Internet service providers since 2016. As an engineer we have implemented,managed different types of a network like VPN, MPLS, lease lined, firewall, and other devices. If we want to provide good service to the client we have to monitor all types of links very proactively. In my organization have use Centreon monitoring tools for all kind of link monitoring.
*Basically Centreon gives an end to end and active monitoring in our whole network. Centreon works very decent and its generating different alarms if any changes occur in networks. If we get an alaram we can see what exactly going on in-network and log in a particular device to check what exactly going on in-network.
Centreon gives great scalability in networks also reliable network monitoring with problematic logs. As a configuration part of Centreon is quite simple.we can configure the Centreon in only one system like serves and take access to all of PCs in the network. We no need to configure Centreon on each and every system interface. You can easily reduce the load of your systems.

centreon is mostly used in ISP because of its features.In ISP need to monitor there internet connection as we as devices like routers,switches and servers.It is very easy to monitor ISP network using the centreon.
What do you dislike about the product?
It required huge RAM in computer to run application.It also required more space in computer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it monitor our clients as well as our own network.When any events occurs in network then centreon gives us notification.It highlighted that devices on top. Centreon also shows the up and down counts of devices.It s really help us in daily report.

Working in an Networking Field,we have deployed a large network in different cities.The Centreon hepls us to monitor this large networks.Our devices like switches,routers and other communicating devices and as well as our cleints are being monitored using centreon application.Centreon contains database of clients such as name of clients,IP address,location,contact number,email id.It also provide the accurate up time and down time of the devices and clients.Centreon is very easy to use and handle.

Sometimes it works too slow or else there is nothing to dislike.

The red colour highlighting makes simple to know that the device or client is down.So we contact our operator or cleints via contact no. in database and to the further required troubleshooting to resolve the issue.
