What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When using sql you may have to check the row level data and if it's coming correctly or not. It may be tiring doing it in SQL. But Tableau helps you to check the row level data easily.
You can also clean the data using Tableau prep which is very useful if one don't know good sql.

Tableau - Easy way of Automated Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of creating different Visuals either through drag or drop, or automatic setups. Getting data in a handy way every day helps a lot in monitoring as well as analysing different Key metrics. I use the same to create reports for the executives on a very frequent basis and at the same time am able to easily implement and make changes on the go!
What do you dislike about the product?
Consitional formatting is a bit difficult in tableau, I have to individually change for each row and can't have selective rows/conditions integrated into it. Excel provides this in a better way. Also, Copy pasting data from Tableau is not doable, which restrics the user to have to download the entire piece of data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau is helping me Monitor data on a frequent basis as well as helping me create reports for the Executives. Additionally, having data handy without having to script is pretty helpful, on top of which creating visualizations helps me analyze different Projects in a very streamlined manner improving my efficiency
Best Tool To Convert Complex data into Digestible Insights
What do you like best about the product?
I used Tableau during my tenure as a Business Analyst, and I found it to be one of the most powerful data visualization tools available. My primary experience was in building interactive dashboards, What stood out to me was the high degree of customization it offers; allowing visuals to be tailored based on various data points ( no matter how complex or simple) also its ability to synthesize complex datasets into clear, intuitive dashboards.
I’m also a personal fan of its forecasting analytics features, which provide built-in capabilities to project future trends using historical data.

What do you dislike about the product?
One challenge I initially faced with Tableau was its learning curve. The user interface can feel quite overwhelming at first, especially for new users who aren’t familiar with data visualization tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau helps solve the problem of making sense of complex and large datasets by transforming them into clear, interactive visualizations. As a Business Analyst, this was especially beneficial for me in identifying trends, patterns, and outliers that wouldn’t have been obvious in raw data. Quicker decision-making by presenting insights in a digestible format for non-technical stakeholders.
The ability to customize dashboards and drill down into specific data points helped me deliver more actionable insights, improving both the quality and speed of business recommendations.

Best-in-Class Data Visualization with a Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau sets the standard for interactive data visualization. I love how easy it is to turn complex datasets into clear, beautiful dashboards and share insights with teams. The drag-and-drop interface is powerful once you get used to it, and the variety of charts, filters, and customization options is unmatched. The community support and resources are also huge plus points — there’s a forum or tutorial for almost any problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau can be overwhelming for beginners — building advanced dashboards requires time and practice. Performance sometimes slows down with large datasets or complex calculations. The licensing cost can be high for small teams or individual users, and version compatibility between Tableau Desktop and Server sometimes causes minor headaches.

Tableau helps our team transform raw data into actionable insights for management, sales, and marketing. We can easily spot trends, track KPIs, and build reports that are easy to present to stakeholders. It saves us hours of manual reporting and helps people make data-driven decisions faster.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Tableau is worth the investment if you’re serious about visual analytics. Plan for some training time — once your team gets comfortable, it becomes an indispensable tool. If budget is tight, compare the different license levels to find what fits best.
