Excellent software for data visualization.
What do you like best about the product?
Selecting fields and metrics is quite easy. We can create the formulas to present any variable. It has the ability to connect to almost any data source you can imagine. Graphics output delivery is also very efficient. For example, we can take the PDF of the graphics, which is good, from other tools. Cross-database joins are an amazing feature that allows you to mix data from Excel, Oracle, MySQL and others on a single board. There are plenty of online resources available from Tableau and the wider user community that help you in case you have any inconvenience.
What do you dislike about the product?
While taking data from multiple sources, it sometimes hangs, which sometimes blocks the entire system. It is necessary to introduce more statistical functions in it. I don't like that we can't clean the data through this tool. The pricing structure can be confusing, as well as the control panel configuration if you want to host your panels locally yourself or through a VPS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the company, we use this software throughout the department. It helps us visualize our sales data. We are using it for sales goals of individuals based on market regions and for billing purposes. It helps us keep track of our effectiveness in solving customer problems. The teams that work in data visualization use this product. The work on this tool is customer specific, some teams use it to understand the data, others use it to make good graphics to present the data. The teams that mainly use this tool are more interested in the analysis.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
To perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) through graphics, this is the best tool available in the market. To understand the data, that is, find the ideas for this to lead. If you are working on data management, then you cannot completely rely on this tool, since cleaning and data transformation is not possible through it. To make inferences, nobody will suggest this tool.

Tableau desktop is free and helps me with all my daily visualizations with just drag and drop.

Since Tableau Desktop is free , it restricts some features from the paid version for obvious reasons.

I am using Tableau for my day-to-day visualizations and presentations.

Able to query data from different sites such as google spreadsheets and able to implement SQL, python and R.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not reading data correctly and lack of visualization and aesthetic settings. A little messy when trying to create a report when visualizations are difficult to format.

Visualizing data and finding efficient and effective ways to portray data through different figures.

Optimize tableau by implementing programming and properly learn how to use tableau prior.

What do you like best about the product?
Its an advance CRM with benefits of AI for user.Analyzing large amount of data in minutes.Access data from external source and add with salesforce data using dataflows.Predictive analysis and predicting about future based on why happen.

Can't filter based on hour or minute.Field level security is not available for external data uploaded via CSV

Analyze the data and creating Dashboard based on analysis.An using Einstein analytics Discovery for the predictive analysis

It allows me to enter and process consumption data of my clients, create new customer accounts, detail each use and need of them, keep a clear record of each item and the feature of poping-up reminders of pending tasks.

I am not really familiar with the new interface. It is good though but I prefer the classic version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it easier for me to prepare reports and process clients' consumption data, sales, create new accounts and assign more than one user to work on them and keep a detailed report of the company.

I don't have many reasons to dislike Tableau. In fact, I would suggest Tableau compared to other BI tools but one thing I feel that the cost is a little high compared to other BI tools

I dislike the data handling capabilities of Tableau. It would benefit from improved joining, being able to automatically recognize what field you are joining by and apply ti to the remaining fields

Building dashboards for internal processes. Tableau has given me the ability for easy viewing of complex data.

I like the clean design and how nice it looks on the eyes. I like how it integrates with commonly used data sources.

Not intuitive. When linking data sheets, you must drag each individually to join them. You cannot change joins other than individually.
