Excellent product and must have product if you are data analyst and presenting to upper management
What do you like best about the product?
I was using tableau when i was working with ICICI Securities Ltd, and ot was my responsibility to have a organized platform to check daily performance.
The best part of the tableau is its simplicity and tools to visualization, presentation, allowing dashboard customisation and connection to other kind of data centre like dbms, sql etc.
Tableau handles millions of data efficiently and effectively with very fast performance as compared with MS Excel.
for me it was a must have tool installed in my machine.
Another best part of this is the various options of dashboard and table data presentation.
It helps a lot when you are presenting your insights on big historical data.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have used this for data visualisation and presenting to mgt when I was working with ISEC, it was installed on company machine as it was licensed for company only.
I tried to install tableau in my personal machine and found it was bit expensive as compared with powerbi.
I started using powerbi later and found powerbi does provide much better options for dashboard presentation and sharing.
Another point i would like to highlight is for beginners tableau is bit difficult to handle. (Not sure about others, but i found difficulty at initial stage)
Last request is to have help or guidance tool to identify better ways of presentation of dashboards. It requires some new ai technic which will suggest better ways of presentation.

For me as my role was to have daily and weekly change updates in performance of our products to upper management.
Insed to have multiple sheets of large amount of data for presentation and for reference.
Tableau helped to categorise data as per my requirement and presenting to mgt for performance metrics.

What do you like best about the product?
Ingest and showcase almost ANY kind of data in most ANY kind of visualization.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only gripe is that is very difficult to share out dashboard outside of your organization or Tableau Server. I really wish there was a Public URL creation.

We bring in A LOT of data - from many different sources. Tableau allows for a one stop shop for visualization.

What do you like best about the product?
Data Visualization is excellent in Tableau. We can create interactive visualizations very quickly in Tableau. And also, implementation is straightforward in Tableau.
What do you dislike about the product?
The feature of automatic refreshing of the reports is not there in Tableau. Also, there is no option of scheduling in Tableau.

High Cost in terms of small companies / private users.

It's been best experience simple to use but we can use it for advance level

This is great software for data analysis and for data visualization we can plot beautiful and extra level of graph or the featured or samples data. It's good experience to use this useful software.

It's well maintained and good ux I have great experience in tablue and I haven't ever face any issues or any lack of uses that should have but yes day by day it will be updated.

Benifits of tablue is easy to use for the advance level of work and a lot of things are there.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Tableau is the drag-and-drop feature and mobile-friendly as well. Apart from it, we have the option of Tableau public along with the desktop version, making it available across any platform. We have the data blending feature which is really helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau does not offer the option of automatically refreshing reports through scheduling. Hence, manual effort is required when data needs to be updated in the backend.

It helps to visualize the data easily and quickly. Making data-driven decisions and sharing them with the stakeholders has been a smooth experience. In addition to that, a large amount of data can be used to create a variety of visualizations without comprising the performance of the dashboard.
