Effortless Data Visualization with Smooth Performance
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to turn raw data into clear visual dashboards using the drag-and-drop feature. I also enjoy the interactive filters and flexible charts options. Tableau connects quickly to different data sources and updates dashboards smoothly, which is great even with large datasets. These features help me analyze data faster and turn it into actionable insights, allowing me to quickly explore trends and make better decisions based on clear visual dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the interface can feel overwhelming for new users because there are many options and settings. A more guided onboarding experience with step-by-step tips would help new users understand where to start.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Tableau to quickly understand complex data by turning raw datasets into clear visual dashboards. It helps me analyze data faster, explore trends, and make better decisions with insightful visuals.
Tableau Makes Deep Analytics Feel Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Tableau is its ability to combine analytical depth with simplicity—letting analysts focus on insights and impact, not tool complexity.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike least about Tableau is not its capability, but that maximizing its power requires strong data discipline, governance, and performance awareness.
Despite these limitations, Tableau is still excellent for exploratory analysis, visualization quality, and storytelling—especially when used alongside SQL, data prep tools, and good BI governance.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In simple terms:
Tableau solves the problem of data being available but not usable.
For me, that means:
Faster insights
Better communication with leadership
Less operational reporting effort
More time spent on high‑value analysis
It allows me to act as a business partner, not just a report generator.

Customizable Reports with Steep Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Tableau allows me to create very customized reports, which makes it easy for new users to jump right in. I also find the initial setup very easy, which is great when you're starting to use the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can take a little bit of learning on your own to understand what type of reports you want to build over time. I wish there was an AI assistant available to all users, not just specific type roles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Tableau for creating monthly status reports for multiple teams and projects, saving hours on report logging and sharing customized reports easily with new users.
Intuitive Drag-and-Drop Dashboards with Flexible, Compelling Visualizations
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I like about the Tableau platform is its drag and drop feature, which helps build advanced dashboards, more like an intuitive one with the fundamentals. Their visualisation capabilities are very flexible and visually compelling. It also helps me to connect multiple data channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
One major point I would make is that the learning curve for this platform is a bit steep. Also, their licensing cost is a bit higher. Sometimes their performance is a bit slow with large datasets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me solve the problem of centralising the scatered hard to interpret data into an interactive dashboard. Instead of getting stuck with a static report, we can explore trends and drill into metrics, which helps us to make faster decisions. This improves reporting efficiency and also supports data driven strategy across departments.
Intuitive Drag-and-Drop Shelves Make Data Visualization Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
Its drag-and-drop shelf system allows us to visualize the data, and based on our requirements, we can apply filters to it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It struggles with complex relationships, doesn’t have a codebase for metrics, and the cost is also higher.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me understand data that a person can’t easily understand just by observation. Overall, it’s a software with complete fulfillment; it’s Tableau.
Easy and Fun Dashboarding Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Dashboarding is fun. Analysis is easy. Powerful tool
What do you dislike about the product?
Data processing is challenging; besides, it is not beginner friendly, and free version has extremely limited capability
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Offers large amount of data to be processed.

Transforms Data into Clear Visuals with Ease
What do you like best about the product?
I use Tableau to turn raw data into clear and interactive dashboards that help me actually see data, track performance, and make smart decisions. I like that I can create complex dashboards without needing heavy coding and that Tableau can connect with multiple data sources, which is a significant feature for me. Tableau's strong sharing feature is great for team collaboration, as I can make and share dashboards that my team can access anytime without needing the original files. My team can see real-time dashboards, and the permission control makes sure the right people see the right data. The initial setup of Tableau was very easy and beginner-friendly, which I really appreciate. Uses it for 4-5 times a Week to generate reports and visualizations. Customer support is good, but I don't use it daily, but whenever I get my query resolved. Integrations i use are aws redshift and google sheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
The licensing cost adds up quickly as more users need access, and it requires a good amount of system resources, so performance slows with large datasets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Tableau to turn raw data into clear, interactive dashboards, making it easier to spot patterns, track performance, and make smart decisions. It brings multiple data sources together and streamlines reporting, facilitating team communication by sharing real-time dashboards without needing original files. Its integrations are very useful; I use Google Sheets with it to track usage of products and what my users (customers) like more, and its native connector for databases like AWS Redshift is being used for data visualization and streamline data analysis

It helps me directly create visualizations by allowing me to choose any dimension and measure from the given data input panel and directly place it into the visualization panel, creating a perfect dashboard for management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau should include more inbuilt custom data charts instead of relying on some custom charts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
