Comprehensive support and intergration
What do you like best about the product?
Red Hat offers comprehensive support for Ansible. Ansible is fantastic and automating our infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ansible can have a steep learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ansible allows us to automate our virtual machine deployment.
Ansible Automation Platform has been the most flexible platform for automation journey
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of Ansible as a tool has been very helpful as it hasn't limited us to interacting with current tooling across our environment, and instead has allowed us to write automation against any tools quickly and easily, often with a pre-built module.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of dynamic survey inputs or a more user focused portal
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Server build automation, server decommission, moving data across networks to offline networks, task scheduling and execution
Easy to deploy in test and development environments on a single server.
What do you like best about the product?
I liked how easy it was to deploy on top of RHEL 9.
By leveraging the single server Ansible playbook for deployment, I was up and running with in hours.

Newer releases seem more difficult to deploy on single server setups.

Unified automation for our Windows, RHEL, and VMware systems.

The ease of use creating playbooks and what they can accomplish in mass

I like how it can be as easy or as diverse as you want to make it

Upgrading the platform in a government environment was a little difficult

Moving away from puppet and integrating Ansible Automation Platform saved us a ton of time and also money

The integration for Network Automation and easy to use GUI.

Having to use a GUI, lol, but seriously, the GUI.

Automating the hard things in life, migrating siloed networks.

a bit of a learning curve and a mindset change to traditional methods. Not entirely a bad thing though.

unifying standalone scripts and allowing normal users to execute commands with authorization controls.

What do you like best about the product?
I have really liked Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform is a very good tool, sometimes the learning curve can be a bit steep, especially for those who are not familiar with YAML or automation in general.

Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform has helped me automate repetitive tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform provides a wide range of features and integrations that are necessary for day-to-day workflows. Its implementation is easier with the guide provided.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike about RedHat AAP, but there is a feature which needs to be enhanced. i.e., there is no to enable/disable all servers at a time. Hence i need to manually enable/disable the servers
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many employees in the company are joined with some skill gaps, red hat AAP solves this issue by providing learning modules with live practice.
